The lovely ladies

The best thing were the Owners, very lovely and helpful. Room was fine, maybe not as big as we have been used to. Breakfast excellent.

Exzellentes B&B mit traumhaften Blick und top Serv

Der Aufenthalt im Double Dutch war einfach perfekt! Wunderschöne, saubere Zimmer, eine sehr gepflegte Anlage in ruhiger Lage fussläufigin ca.15min zum Ortskern von Knysna. Das Frühstück hat unsere Erwartungen voll erfüllt und das Highlight sind Kate und Natalie, die von der Anreise bis zur Abreise wirklich alles getan haben dass wir uns wohl gefühlt haben. Wir können das Double Dutch nur empfehlen und würden jederzeit wieder dort einchecken.

Fantastic plsce

Stayed here for 2 nights and wished we could have stayed longer . I have never stayed in a place like this , so clean , lovely big pool, the 2 ladies were fantastic hosts. They arranged a restaurant and taxi for us as they knew we were arriving late afternoon and that I had limited mobility due to a broken foot. If I am ever back in the region I would definitely stay at Double Dutch again. We stayed in one of the cottages that had fantastic views , massive bed , large bathroom . The breakfast was fantastic

Beautiful setting, amazing hosts!

We had the most amazing stay at Double Dutch. Kate & Nathalie are incredible hosts and have created a truly wonderful B&B. They gave us so much information about the area, things to do and restaurants to visit - and made reservations for us (and all the recommendations were great!) They so kindly upgraded us to a better room than we had booked, which was nestled in the beautiful gardens and had incredible views over the town. The location of the B&B is great - a short drive/10 min into town and easy to reach from the main roads. It was probably a little further out of town than we would have liked, given that we were planning on walking everywhere. It was fine during the day, but a bit of a trickier walk at night time. This didn’t cause too much of a problem though, and you could easily get a taxi instead of walking. Thank you so much Kate & Nathalie for welcoming us and making us feel so at home. We felt like old friend by the time we left and will definitely return if we visit Knysna again in future!

Geweldige stop middenin de Garden Route

Uitermate gastvrije eigenaresses, heerlijke kamers met mooi uitzicht, perfect ontbijt, op loopafstand van centrum, prachtig zwembad: we waren graag langer gebleven, of op onze terugweg terug gekeerd.

Amazing, very up-market guest house with fabulous view, brilliant people, welcoming bottle of wine and nice nibbles. Everything was a cut a cut above the norm - Quality fittings and fixtures, own balcony, great breakfasts.

Natalie und Kate sind perfekte Gastgeber die sich um alles kümmern. Sie haben auch Reservationen in den besten lokalen Restaurants gemacht. Einfach guter Rundum-Service in einer wirklich schönen Anlage.

The. Best. Place. Ever.

Absolutely the highlight of our honeymoon. The two ladies running the guest house are the most amazing people ever. They are so knowledgable about the area and suggested so much for us to do that we simply must come back. The rooms were gorgeous. Our patio overlooked the Knysna heads . The rooms are very spacious and have tons of amenities too. Breakfast was fantastic - loved the waffles! We were very sad to be leaving.

Hinkommen und sich wohlfühlen

Wir machen recht häufig selbst organisierte RundreisenEngland, Schottland, Süd Afrika,..... und gehen meist in gute B&Bs, weil man einfach mehr dort von Land und Leuten mitbekommt wie in Hotels. Das Double Dutch in Knysna ist dabei das beste B&B, dass wir bislang erlebt haben. In dem von Nathalie und Kate geführten Haus stimmt einfach alles. Einfach toll!!!!

Das Double Durch ist einfach perfekt

Dieses B&B ist das Beste, dass wir bislang gesehen haben. Da passte einfach alles. Natalie und Kate sorgten dabei für einen rundum sorglosen und tollen Aufenthalt.

Great Eggs!

Nathalie and Kate are amazing hosts! We had a really happy time here. A great laugh and the views from the room were spectacular! Breakfast was a delight with "speciality themed" breakfasts served to discerning guests. Boiled eggs will never be the same again! :)

Fantastic hotel with great hosts..

The hotel is located in Kynsna Heights and the rooms have a fantastic view of the logoon. The host were great and could not have done more to make our stay in Knysna enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel.

A very special experience

This bed and breakfast is well located, well designed and tastefully decorated. Our room had a magnificent, uninterrupted view of the Knysna Heads. Kate and Nathalie, the owners, were friendly, attentive and offered help with our every need, no matter how minor. When we left after a two- day stay, we felt were bidding farewell to two good friends. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast.

Nice place to stay

Nice place to stay with excellent service from the owners. They did what they could to make your stay a good one. Big room and nice outdoor area, safe area to stay and you could walk to the city without problems.

Wonderful place to stay

This is a really lovely place to stay in Knysna. It a quiet area, but only a few minutes walk to the shops, restaurants and marina. But the best thing has to be the wonderful owners who look after you from the second you arrive. Great breakfast, great views, beautiful big bedroom, lovely swimming pool and grounds.

Sehr freundliche Gastgeber in einem schönen B&B

Das Double Dutch liegt einfach wunderbar mit Blick auf die Bucht und die beiden Inhaberinnen sind einfach sehr hilfsbereit und extrem nett. Wir haben uns zwar überall in Südafrika sehr wohl gefühlt, aber hier war es noch ein wenig mehr.
