Before I start - the two people I spoke with on the phone definitely made up for the summary I’m about to give (but just want to give future guests a heads up). We accessed the building with the code provided just fine upon arrival, but were not provided a code for the unit itself. The app to check in and the VRBO app both had a different unit listed (which they have put in a request for to change them to reflect properly). After messaging with what seemed to be different people in the VRBO app for 20 mins-ish outside the unit
and not knowing where to call, someone finally called me so we could talk out what had happened: 1) not knowing access code to unit 2) not knowing which unit and 3) the previous guest must have taken the parking pass. Unfortunately, things happen. We found a diff 24 hour lot which we saved the receipt of. However, the next day was our only full day in Knoxville. And a few times throughout the day, we relocated the car to off street meter parking and had to come back and pay every 2 hours until 6 PM when it was free. All in all, the place was great location, comfortable and clean. Also well equipped with essentials. And the two I spoke with on the phone definitely helped make things right in the end. I just simply want to warn those in the future to *save their number bc the messaging isn’t very consistent, *look for a building code AND a unit code because they are not the same, *make sure to ask them check for a parking pass upon your arrival
