"We enjoyed this beautiful two bedroom property in a quiet section of York near the train station. The hosts were very friendly and communicated with us frequently. They left us a lovely welcome basket, coffee supplies, and milk in the fridge. The property is beautifully furnished and finished. "

"It was perfect, the pale coloured carpet was a bit of a pain we had to leave shoes and slippers down in the hall which was not convenient and also no clocks anywhere. Parking was easy and handy, and the situation of the property was lovely right by the river and a very short walk into Otley. Overall the property is great."

"The location is ideal for visiting Harrogate, only a short walk into the city. We were at a conference in Harrogate so were out all day but retuning to this house was perfect. We loved the hotel touches such as fresh clean towels and toiletries! The interior was styled so lovely and bright, and it was great to have a supply of tea and coffee in the cupboard for when we arrived. The treats were a nice touch and so grateful for the peace and quiet as well as the free parking. Lots of nearby walks,...

"A great location for a weekend away in York. The property was spotless when we arrived and great communication from the owner. 25 minutes to walk into the centre of York, via the river path and free in street parking was a real bonus."

"Booked Brook Hall for a stag weekend of 12 guys, which Edward was happy to accommodate. It was a fantastic base while we spent most of our time out and about in York (20 - 30 minutes away) and Leeds (30 - 40 minutes away). Thanks for the recommendation of Dougies taxis as well, this was really helpful and they were great with really friendly drivers. Lovely location and house, particularly the garden. "Everything about our stay, there was fantastic except the weather. It was in the 90s and of course there’s no air-conditioning but that’s not their fault hahah 10/10 would recommend. "

"This is an excellent house in a nice York neighbourhood, with easy access to the city centre. The property is beautiful and very well-maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here."

"This property is seriously lacking in basic amenities that usually come as standard in any rental property, for example:No coat hooks on the ground floor meaning you need to leave your coat over the back of a chair - not great if there are more than 4 of you in the property.You advertise a fully equipped kitchen however there is no teapot, no coffee maker or cafetière, no dishwasher and the hob and oven were so dirty that we could not use them. "We have stayed here before, and really enjoyed the location and the house. It’s a perfect location for us, a good sized flat, and well-equipped. The one issue we had this time was that it was late November and very cold, and the heating had not been switched on before we arrived. Therefore, it was very cold and the heating was ineffective until it had been on overnight. We wore coats inside the house and were cold overnight.
