"Great location walk (in misty rain) to restaurants and bars and Bunratty castle. Minor snaffo during checkin was quickly resolved- very responsive. Very professional."

"We made the barricks property our home base for our family group of 9 while exploring Ireland and could not have asked for better accommodations! The restored property is absolutely beautiful! Our lovely host, Marion, shared the rich history of the barricks with us and we were amazed at how much work went into restoring the property. "The house was fabulous, the history amazing and the hosts couldn't have done more for us.We were three generations (12 of us) travelling to show the grandchildren the wonders of their grandfather's homeland and the Castle House at the Barracks was a perfect base for our stay in this part of Ireland. La comunicación con la propietaria fué muy fluida y amable. Situada en un entorno tranquilo y precioso, cerca del pueblo de New-markt-on-fergus. Desde aquí hicimos excursiones a Bunratty Castle, Galway, Cliffs of Moher, pero también nos sirvió de base para ir a Ring of Kerry, Cobh, Kinsale...La recomiendo! "

"Hemos pasado una semana increible en una casa de ensueño. La atención previa de Margaret ha sido perfecta, dándonos todas las indicaciones e información que le hemos solicitado, además d emultitud de sugerencias sobre sitios donde ir. Después Caroline ha estado a nuestra disposición, pero la verdad es que no nos ha hecho falta porque todo estaba perfecto. La casa es de ensueño, amplia, confortable y con unas vistas de cuento. "We had 8 adults to celebrate 2 birthdays in Ireland! The house & surroundings were impeccable. We were able to let ourselves in very easily. Peter checked in to see if there was anything we needed. He also checked in days before to offer any last minute items. A wonderful host, in deed! The beds were comfy, plenty of hot water, nice towels & the list goes on. Six people flew into Dublin from Alaska & were driven to this home. A wonderful quiet way to start off our trip. Many close by activities...
