Steps to the beach

Clean, ocean front house, just steps from the ocean. Had a very enjoyable and relaxing time. As the listing states, be sure to come with your own soaps, as rental.comes with a limited supply.

Simply Wonderful

This place was fantastic.. It is in an A+ location. Less than 5 minutes from everything you need. The house itself was very clean, very spacious and can comfortably hold a large family. Each room had nice linen provided, the kitchen has all the dishes you’d ever need. The kitchen appliances were really nice and each of the 6 rooms having a TV is nice. The screened in porch is so lovely and the walk out overlooking the ocean is magnificent. The walk down the dune to the beach is kind of steep but it is not that difficult for a child or an adult. If you are an older adult/elderly with mobility issues, though, you will probably have a hard time. We were able to get my mid-70’s father-in-law down the dune to the beach but we had to have a lifeguard give him a ride on a 4-wheeler from the beach to the street at the beach access 2 doors down. All in all, we had such lovely time and would definitely book this property again in the future.

Great House... beach access...not the best

There is no easy way down to the beach and especially back up. The dune is high and there are no stairs. Up from the beach to the deck. Overall, the house is very nice. We had a good stay. Easy access to many places.

Great Family Vacation

Very cute vacation cottage right on the beach. Nice layout so everyone can be spread out. We have 3 little ones and appreciated that there were retractable baby gates at the top on the stairs. Only issue was there were sugar ants in the kitchen but the management company was very quick and responsive with solutions. Would stay here again.

The Cottage is beautiful. The beds are extremely comfortable, the house is nicely furnished, and the kitchen has everything you could want or need and then some. We loved the ice maker!! Walk straight out to the seems like private beach. Location is perfect!! We will return.

Great Location to Everything!

Thank you so much for hosting us! We had the best stay at this beach house. You can't beat the proximity to the beach - it is literally in your backyard. It is also close to everything - grocery stores, mini golf, ice cream, shopping, etc. The layout of the place is excellent for multiple families. We all had our own "wing" with your own bathroom so you had your privacy, but also had common space to share. There were a few nights when my 1 year old was up crying and no one heard him at all - which is a huge bonus with young children. Everything was clean and as described. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need and the ice maker was a HUGE bonus especially with filling up coolers, drinks for a large group, etc. There were a few things that I noticed: the screen was missing on the door on the back porch. I think this deterred people sitting out there especially in the evenings with the bugs. Also the TV in the main living room did not work and no one could really figure it out. Would have been nice for the kids during down times to be able to watch TV. The TVs in all the rooms worked great though. We all had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again! Thank you, again!

The cottage was very nice. Only complaint is there were no instructions for TV, grill needs to upgraded and screen door needs Repair. But otherwise a very comfortable cottage on the ocean!! Would recommend to others.

Great house with a view

this house had it all...it is a really nice house, renovated and clean with nice furniture and accommodates 6 couples. Our favorite part was waking up to the cool breeze and having a cup of coffee on a screened in porch with an amazing view of the ocean. Having a beach in my backyard was so convenient with kids... only thing we noticed was the refrigerator in a kitchen had seal coming off which made it closing all the way hard if not careful. Overall, we loved the house. We're looking forward to booking it again.

Right on the beach

Beautiful home, wonderful screened in porch and well appointed family space with lots of extras like games and puzzles. Could use some darkening curtains in the east facing bedrooms. We were up with the dawn—Which was lovely on the deck with a cup of coffee! A bit of a bumpy start as the stove top was broken and we couldn’t cook anything, but on day 3 they got us fixed.

OBX memorial day during COVID

We had a great time. The house was lovely. Great for families, lots of room in the kitchen. There were a few things not ready but we were the first to occupy after COVID and the team was so fast to fix everything.
