  • The Vitamin Sea is a studio apartment located on the ground level of our house(no steps to climb). Its equipped with everything you may need during your getaway. The studio has its own entrance and a private outdoor area to enjoy a morning coffee. It's only 0.7 mile walk to the beach (approximately 15 min depending on the pace) and a few blocks away from Mama Kwan's and Plaza Azteca. It's centrally located in Kill Devil Hills. We live upstairs-a family of 3, our son is 5y.o+ our new addition -a mini golden doodle puppy, Skye. You will most likely hear our voice and footsteps. Potential for noise.

Weekend Getaway

We loved our stay here! It’s a basement rental, but was private and set up perfectly. It was clean, had just the right items, and we loved how close it was to the beach. I highly recommend it and would stay here again.

Perfect Little Getaway

Beautiful little getaway, close to the beach and plenty of nice restaurants. Sasha really put a lot of nice details into her space that makes it even more enjoyable! Perfect for a couples getaway!

The place is fabulous. Exceptionally clean, cozy and high tech. The patio out the door is a great place to have a few drinks.Only a few blocks from the highway.I would go back in a heartbeat.

Awesome place

My kid and I loved the place. It was just the right size for us and our dog. The neighborhood isn't far from the beach or any place to eat, but it was quiet. We had a great time.

The place was perfect for a quick getaway to the Outer Banks. Everything we needed was there and the location was perfect. Decorated nicely and all the accommodations were on point. The place was clean and easy to access. We will be back!

Perfect place for a weekend getaway! Such cute decor. Good communication with host. We were able to check in a lil earlier. Very clean. Bed is comfy. Had treats for my dog. Enjoyed coffee in the outdoor area. Definitely recommend!

Great Getaway

I highly recommend this property! Gorgeous inside and out. Perfect for a couple or small family. Great communication with owner. You can tell they put a lot of love into this apartment. Looking forward to staying there in the future.

Safe, clean and fun!

One of the best places I’ve gotten to vacation in! There were so many small touches (makeup towel, snacks, card games) made by the host that made our stay wonderful! It was clean and pretty. We felt very safe walking our dog around the neighborhood at night. Thank you again for such a wonderful stay!

The hosts were responsive, kind, and helpful. The room was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for both sunny and rainy days. The shower was amazing, and the location had perfect access to everything Outer Banks has to offer. Minutes from the wright brothers monument, close to several beaches. Only a quick drive up to Duck for water sports and ice cream; or down to Rodanthe and Cape Hatteras for camping and wild life preserves. Will be visiting again!

A Few Days At Outer Banks, N.C.

This property was excellent for our situation, a short visit to the coast. Our accommodations went extremely well thanks to our Host Sasha & Family. (Our small pet, was even provided with doggie bed & pillow of her own, very happy). Thank You So Much.. l.stewart & family (North Carolina)

Great place for a couple’s getaway!

The place was amazing! Super clean and just like the pictures showed, but even better in person! Sasha was great in getting us all the info for check in! Super easy process! Such a good vibe from the moment we walked in! Love, love, loved the shower! Would definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit to the outer banks!

Cute hide-away in OBX

This adorable studio apartment property was in a very quiet neighborhood close to the beach, shopping, restaurants and activities. The unit was meticulously maintained and very well appointed. It was perfect for our stay with our teenage grandson. I would highly recommend for 2-3 people.

Kill Devil Hills

The property was as advertised. Very clean, spacious, and about 3 blocks from the beach. Close to restaurants. Hosts were very responsive when the hot water stopped working. Problem fixed in just a few hours. The property was in a residential area, very quiet with a nice outdoor seating area. Thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

Wonderful stay at OBX

We absolutely loved our stay at Vitamin Sea. Sasha and Miguel were wonderful hosts. The attention to detail and the warmth of the home was so inviting and thankfully so, since we had inclement weather for the 2 out of the 3 days we were there. Our vacation turned out to be family movie night and I couldn’t ask for a better stay. We will definitely return. Thank you again!

Quick Solo Getaway

This place is perfect for a solo getaway! It has everything you need for a few days/nights escape. It's a quick drive to the beach, as well as to the Nags Head Nature Preserve. The small touches of high quality dishes, soaps, linens, etc. make it feel luxurious! The small seating area outside the door is ideal. The host was very nice and quick to respond to any questions I had. I highly recommend!

Best VRBO I Have Ever Stayed At

This was the perfect place for my boyfriend and I. It was extremely clean, smelt wonderful, came with lots of toiletries to use, a hairdryer, a cooler for the beach, and chairs too. The bed was very comfortable and the TV was easy to use. The entire apartment was sleek and modern, we just loved it. We never heard any noise from the owners and the neighborhood was very quiet. We have already said we would love to come back here if we need somewhere to stay again.
