Check in/check out was a smooth process. Amy was very helpful and the house was perfect for our size (3 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 dogs). The house was clean and ready for us when we arrived. Big fenced in yard for the doggos was great. Definetly a future stay for us!

We had a great time this past week at Kill Devil Thrills! It was equipped with everything we needed. Very clean and comfortable. The wi-fi worked well, allowing me to teach my class online. Our dogs loved the fenced in yard. Thanks Amy!!

This home was absolutely wonderful. The yard was great for the puppies and clean. The home was nice and clean and had everything you would need to cook and towels for your showering. It was also a great location close to everything sound side, ocean side, and all the shops and activities. We will most definitely be staying here again.

Perfect dog friendly property

We had a wonderful stay at this dog-friendly home in Kill Devil Hills! The house was spotless, well cared for, and had a comfortable beachy feel. It’s in a great location—just a 15-minute walk to the ocean and a 3-minute walk to the sound, both of which were dog-friendly and beautiful. The town itself was very welcoming to pets, with several restaurants allowing dogs. Amy, the owner, was fantastic to work with—very responsive and kind. Our family had a great time and would definitely recommend this rental to others looking for a relaxed Outer Banks getaway!

Convenient location in OBX

We stayed 3 nights and loved the hot tub. The fenced in yard was great for my dog. It’s a very convenient location to restaurants and shopping. It’s a quiet neighborhood except for the neighborhood dogs barking occasionally. Linens were delivered by a company so we put those on the beds we used ourselves so it’s nice you know they’re clean linens. One of the beds had a lot of sand on top. The kitchen and bathrooms were a little dated. There is a laundry room in the carport and you’ll need to wash the towels before leaving. The host was nice and communication was good. Sadly we did not see Salty the cat.

Getaway weekend

We were looking for a quiet house on the sound side for a weekend getaway and we weren’t disappointed. The location was perfect and there was a beautiful walking trail. The hot tub was perfect for the cool nights. Amy answered immediately and was very generous. The house was clean and stocked up on all essentials needed. We would definitely stay here again.

Repeat Stay

This was our 2nd stay at this property. It yas become our home of choice when we visit OBX. The location is perfect- central and easy access to everything. Easy drive to the beach or great walk to the Sound. The house has everything to make for a convenient comfortable stay. Our pup enjoys the completely fenced in back yard and front porch. The hot tub is a bonus at the end of a fun day. The owner is quick to respond to communication and offers the best tips and advice for a great visit. We can't wait to return to Kill Devil Thrills!

Nice property

This home is comfortable and set up nicely for visitors. It was very dusty when we arrived, so I felt we had to clean the surfaces. Otherwise tidy and neat. Our only real problem was at the back door which led to backyard and hot tub, there were huge spiders spinning webs. We’d knock them down a couple times a day but overnight they were back with a big web each morning.

Great Location

We had an amazing stay making great memories! Very conveniently located to & just moments away from several beach access points, grocery store, gas and car wash. mSupet cute home with the added touches of beach themed decor, very well done! Truly made my heart happy! All the conveniences if home. We'd add The Jolly Roger to their list of great places to eat! Future guests ... be sure to go to the boat ramp for a sunset you won't regret! *Fly a kite on Jockey's Ridge * visit the lighthouses * go horsebacking riding down in Frisco * catch a sunrise & watch everything wake up

We loved this beach house! My pup loved the fenced in backyard and we enjoyed the hot tub and the beautiful weather. We gave Salty lots of lovin while we were there and I filled her water and food bowl up when we left. My granddaughter is already asking when we can go again!

Amazing OBX getaway!

My children and I couldn’t have been more “thrilled” with our stay in this well-appointed, fully stocked home in KDH! The hosts literally provide everything you could ever want for an amazing beach trip but the boat. The beach and sound are in easy walking distance, as is a strip mall complete with souvenir store and quick eats. We cannot wait to come back!

The place looks even better than the photos. The house is surprisingly spacious and the location is perfect. The owner was very helpful. This was the perfect getaway for me and my wife. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Home Base

Spent 3 nights here for our 15 year anniversary getaway. Mornings on the front deck are the perfect spot to drink your coffee and enjoy the quiet neighborhood. Our puppy was able to join us, as this area is completely gated as well. The back yard is completely fenced in- perfect for our fur baby to roam and enjoy while we relaxed in the hot tub. Bed was super comfy and everything was clean and well equipped. The house location is convenient to many restaurants and area attractions. Check in and out is a breeze! Also, special note on Salty the outdoor kitty. Salty is a sweetheart and we enjoyed her company when she came around. She mostly steared clear because of our pup and was never a nuisance at all. Thank you for letting us enjoy your home!

Wonderful house except...

The only real problem we had with the house was the outdoor cat that lives at the house. The cat is friendly but if you bring your dogs and they don't like cats then it could be an issue. Just wish the cat had been disclosed in the description of the house. Other then that we had no issues. Beds were comfortable, house was nice and cool, fenced in yard was great, and the hot tub was very nicely kept.
