Just What We Needed

We had a fantastic experience at this rental! The house was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described—maybe even better. It had everything we needed for a relaxing stay, including a well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and plenty of space to unwind. The location was perfect—close to the beach, great restaurants, and local attractions, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful and private. The hosts were responsive and thoughtful, making check-in and communication seamless. We truly enjoyed our time here and would absolutely stay again. Highly recommend!

Loved our stay!

We had a wonderful long weekend at Annette’s property. She was very easy to communicate with, and the house was just like the photos. Very comfortable - everything we needed. Super close to beach access. Great restaurants nearby: Food Dudes, Surfin’ Spoons, Nags Head Pizza Co. Would gladly stay again and highly recommend!

October getaway

The weather was amazing!! Love this time of year when it’s not too crowded. Booked the house for the location, semi-ocean view and that it had great reviews so I was somewhat dismayed by a few things. The house is on an extremely loud road, even for off season. It would be to have a back yard option with some nice Adirondack chairs, maybe a fire pit and even a small deck. I hadn’t thought about having to climb the stairs so often but since the kitchen is on the top floor it made for quite the leg workout! The kitchen was well equipped. Had a small issue with the refrigerator and the cabinets could use some WD-40. The fan on the second floor did not work and the lighting in the bedrooms is very dim. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Hopefully the owners addressed some issues with stains on the rugs, couches and beds. They were very responsive when we let them know our concerns.

Memorial Day Weekend

We had a great weekend stay at this property. Walk to beach was short and easy. Property was very clean, nicely decorated and in a great location. Kitchen was very well equipped and had everything we needed. Loved the decks. Will return here when visiting KDH again.

Perfect Getaway!

This home was perfect in every way! From being stocked with dishes, glassware, pots, pans, many utensils and Kitchen Appliances. The beach access was across the street. Beach chairs and a wagon were also available. My boys loved the outdoor shower and their “private deck” on their floor. Board games and cornhole were a hit! Lots to walk to! You can’t go wrong with this place! Will be back, thanks!

Perfect small beach house

Great location across from public beach access and we loved the ease of going to the restaurant next door. It's really well stocked in the kitchen and even had some chairs and a wagon we could use on the beach! Would absolutely stay again.

Wonderful stay in perfect location

We had a great stay at this perfectly located beach house. The central OBX location is close to most major attractions including jockey’s ridge, putt putt, and great restaurants. Plus, the house is right across the street from the Martin street beach access—no need to worry about parking! If you don’t want one of the giant 30 bedroom oceanfront monstrosities (and all the cost), but you want something nicer than a run down beach shack, this house is in the sweet spot. The kitchen and bathrooms are fully updated and upgraded, the furniture is new and comfortable, and the beds are high end comfortable mattresses. Plus there is a nice view of the ocean from the top floor balcony. If you’re worried about noise from the bar/restaurant next door, I wouldn’t. It closes at 10pm and never caused any problems. But I would recommend their painkiller with homemade allspice dram and the family-friendly sand patio. Thanks for the great trip!

Comfortable cottage with everything you need in great location.

The cottage was nicely furnished with all the things a family needs. It was clean and ready on time. Hosts were available and communication was excellent. Short walk to the beach and a few restaurants. Overall great location!

Location!!

Perfect Location & Hosts

Sand bUKet is in the perfect location. Across the street from public access and close to so much good food, drinks and activities. Greg and Annette were wonderful hosts as well! They were very responsive and helpful. I would highly recommend staying at Sand bUKet!

Perfect location to the beach

Stayed here for a couple nights. It is really close to the beach. The house was exactly as described. Very clean. Well stocked. Good parking. Close to multiple places to eat and right in the middle of OBX. I would recommend my friends to stay here.

Relaxing with a short walk to the ocean

Cozy, relaxing, open floor plan with a wonderful upper deck with ocean views. I very much enjoyed my first trip to the Outer Banks and surprise Father's Day trip.

Exactly what we wanted

This home was located just steps from the beach with plenty of shopping/dining opportunities within walking distance. The host took care of all our needs. This may have been the best trip my family has ever taken. We would definitely recommend this home.
