    Great old school beach cottage in beautiful Kill Devil Hills. This one is not your typical beach box home. It has all the character of the fine homes built on the outer banks years ago. Knotty pine walls, floors, and ceilings are absolutely breathtaking. This home is located near milepost 10 which is almost middle of the outer banks ocean area. This area may also be refered to as the OBX (outer banks). You are close to EVERYTHING. 5 minute walk to the beach (across the street). 5 minutes to Nags Head, Kitty Hawk, Wright Brothers Memorial. A great day trip would be to drive down the beach and really see the best that the outer banks has to offer. Short drive through the Rodanthe, Waves, Salvo, and Hatteras areas takes you to the ferry and a 30 minute trip over to Ocracoke. This would really be an incredible day trip adventure.

    Home has 3 full bedrooms (2 are extremely Over-Sized), 1 King Bed, 1 Queen, 1 double, and a Bunk bed that sleeps 3. Two full baths and and over sized outside shower as well. Pet friendly. Non-Smoking.

    We provide comforters, pillows, and blankets but guests are required to bring their own sheets, towels, linens, and toiletries.

We had a great stay; the house is exactly as described. It’s an older beach house but clean and everything functioned as expected. It’s a great location within walking distance to the beach and some great food spots!

Wonderful week celebrating July 4th! Cottage was cozy - love the older beach box style! Location was great for beach and sound, restaurants and shopping. We had a great time!

fishing trip

this place was great for my brothers and i for a long weekend... fishing out of Oregon inlet and it was close to many restaurants and the beach so we didn't have to drive much.

Property 279789 Kill Devil Hills

We wanted a quiet place to stay, but within short distance of all the excitement and experiences of the Outer Banks. The property is located in a family and pet friendly neighborhood one block from the beach, and small quiet restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing location

Our group of 5 adults had the best time at this beach house. The house itself is fun and vintage. The location is the best close to the beach, restaurants, breweries and just about anything you could want.

Comfy beach house

Bday Weekend Retreat

My wife and I along with some friends loved this home for our weekend trip. The house is in a perfect location being a short walk from multiple restaurants and the beach. This is a place we would easily stay at again. Hal the host was quick and responsive with his communication.

So lucky to snag this house!

Check in was simple, received a key and note in the mail from the homeowner who also verified we received it. We had previously stayed in hotels and were looking for something more cost effective that would accept pets. I was not sure we would find a place to rent in a short time, but so glad we did. The location is awesome, close to everything and only 1 block down and a block up to public access. The house was great, it was clean, beds are good, kitchen has plenty of cooking utensils and the homeowner Hal was attentive. Looking forward to future stays!

Always an amazing stay!

We visit the beach house every year and we absolutely love it! We will never stay anywhere else! It’s super close to amazing restaurants and of course the beach! Our kids love the bunk beds and we love the swing on the porch! We will see you again next year!

Charming Cottage

We took a last minute family trip with our two dogs and this cottage was in a great location. Short walk to the beach, stores and restaurants. The house feels like an old fashioned New England cottage and is quite charming. The host was quick to respond.
