Winter getaway

Fun Times

Overall it was a good stay. The house is just like pictured. Beds weren't terrible. BIG bathtub was very relaxing. Could use another sofa or more comfortable chairs in the living area. The second bedroom has a tv but no streaming device had to buy our own. Location is great easy beach access and walkable restaurants we had to buy one

Good Location

The property is very well-kept, but it was a shock to find out it was an upstairs unit. I did not see anything in the posting that mentioned it was an upstairs unit. Also, the driveway for the unit is very hard to find, and the GPS of the unit takes you next door with no way to connect to the property.

Very Pleasant and Well Lovated

We loved our week here- this upper floor unit is right across from the beach with a nice little yard and two outside porches. The beach access is right at the border of Kill Devils Hill and Nags head and the nags head side allows leased dogs all day all year—watch out for the hot sand and sand spurs though! We had our dog and worried he would struggle with the stairs to the flat- about 20 steps from ground level. But they were well maintained with railings and closed risers so he trotted right up and down.the place was very clean, nice and comfortable furniture and well equipped kitchen. We enjoyed the oversized tub too. Joe and lisa were great hosts- very responsive. We would come back!

Great place!

Loved the charm of an older home but with the updated touches. Kitchen was wonderful. We loved the location as well. The host gave us wonderful dining recommendations that we found very helpful and we were satisfied with them all.

Wonderful stay in OBX!!

This was the best experience we’ve had with a rental so far!! It changed our minds about staying at a rental property in the future. This house was perfect for our family of four!! We had such a wonderful week there in OBX. Clean, roomy and such a beautiful house!! We enjoyed the porch in the front and it was such a short walk to the beach. It was in a good location so we had a short drive to all the things we wanted to go do. Joe was wonderful and so very helpful. We would definitely stay at the property again. Five stars all the way!!

Perfect Getaway

We stayed in the upstairs unit and it was clean, inviting, cozy, and just lovely. All of the basics were provided. Our hosts provided us lots of info for places to go and things to do and check in and check out was effortless. We felt very at home and will happily book with them again!

Outer Banks Getaway

This property was so ideal for us and our two dogs. The kitchen was well appointed. It was great to have a front and back porch. It was super convenient to the beach and to the many local restaurants. We can not wait to stay there again.

Great stay!

Our extended weekend stay here was great. So close to the beach and centrally located for our sightseeing in the area. The dual porch decks on second floor made it nice to sit in the sun out front in the morning for coffee then the evening on the back deck for the sunset and another cup of coffee.

Merriest Christmas!

I lost my dad in October. My mother and I decided we’d like to get out of town for our first Christmas without him. We used to come to OBX when I was a child and I hadn’t been in almost 40 years. So we decided to return for this Christmas. It far exceeded our expectations! My 22 yo son loved his first visit. We are already contemplating another visit. We felt so at home and cozy. And being able to have our puppy with us made it even better! Top notch! ♥️💚

Relaxing stay - brief walk to the beach

We enjoyed a relaxing stay in this clean, spacious upstairs unit. It was very quiet, and just a short walk to the beach. Everything was as advertised - the kitchen was especially nice, fully equipped with everything we needed. The property is centrally located so that it’s a short drive to many cool places such as the Wright Brothers memorial and lots of shops and restaurants. We especially appreciated the owners’ recommendations for driving down to Hatteras National Seashore where we were able to find our own private beach for the day. Overall a wonderful stay!

Wonderful home and stay!

This home was everything listed and more! The home was wonderfully furnished and the kitchen had everything needed. The walk to the beach was easy and quick. Joe was so easy to communicate with and even was nice enough to email and remind us when the trash needed to go out. The caretakers were on point as well with communication. If you have an older dog that you are bringing, the stairs may be an issue, but I was aware of that when we brought our 12 year old pup. It took her some time to get up the stairs but loved being there with us and enjoyed the yard. There are even pup bags provided down by the laundry room to help with the dog waste (I brought my own bags not knowing and theirs are much better :) ). We are definately going to be staying there again next year! A wonderful home away from home!

Fantastic accommodation

We had a wonderful stay in Forever Paradise, it had a lovely and well stocked kitchen as well as two en-suite bedrooms that are perfect for a small family or two couples. Fantastic location, minutes walk to the public beach access but quiet and away from the road. 10/10 thank you!

Everything was so convenient! Close to many good restaurants. The house had everything we needed . I was impressed with the kitchen and all of the pans, utensils, dishes and space. We will be back!

Wonderful stay, best hosts

We decided at the last minute to take a mini vacation with our two dogs. We sent a message to multiple properties prior to booking and immediately received a response from Joe (in fact he was the only to respond, lucky us). The communication throughout our trip was great. The property was super close to the beach (less than a block) and was well taken care of. There is tons of room in unit 2. Our dogs were very comfortable. Next time we may try and get the first-floor unit because our senior dog has trouble with stairs :) but we did love the unit we stayed in. If you have pets, this area is great. There are tons of places you can take your dogs. Thanks for all the memories. Spacious -Great for travelers with pets

We stayed in unit on 2nd floor. I have a smaller dog but up to md size pets would find plenty of room. No rugs so if accidents happen-clean up is easy. Unit common area and decks (2) provide plenty of space. WIFI able to handle 2 of us working without issues even from deck. Easy access to beach and quieter walking thru neighborhood from other side of building. Yard is nice size but not fenced in so you must be with your dog. Lawn in good shape- no issue with burrs on paws but early in season. Kitchen appliances updated- plenty of cupboard and island space.
