Wonderful stay at Wailea Ekahi Village

We've stayed at Ekahi Village several times in different units, and this one stands out as one of the cleanest and most beautifully renovated. The main pavilion is just a five-minute walk away, surrounded by lush, well-maintained landscaping that makes the stroll enjoyable and never inconvenient. There are several nearby BBQ areas, all with excellent setups, which we found very convenient. The secondary pool is just steps from the unit and was perfect for a quick dip after dinner or when the beach was too windy. We typically swim in the ocean and don’t use the main pavilion pool, but having one near the unit is a nice option. Booking was effortless, and we had great communication with the hosts throughout. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and would highly recommend this unit to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-equipped spot in the area.

Needs better cleaning…

This condo had nice furniture and a comfy bed. As time wore on we saw many items that weren’t very clean. The ant traps were full, there were lots of ants, including in our bed, outdoor table was very dirty, lawn off patio was 10 inches deep, ditch by the pool had grass that was 15 inches tall, our bedroom patio had broken tiles and had weeds growing out of it. We spent an hour cleaning up many spiderwebs over the front patio. It needs deep cleaning and some TLC. Never could get bedroom TV volume to increase or decrease. The washing machine needs to be scrubbed…loads of mildew in gasket and thus it smells. We have visited Hawaii 18 times now and have never had such cleanliness or neglect issues.

The unit was nicely remodeled and had many items a visitor might use at the pool or beach. We have stayed at the Ekahi complex several times in the past and once again had an enjoyable time. The unit had some minor frustrations. The toilet in the hall bathroom had a leak. It seemed that property management initially fixed after I reported it. But it started to leak again during the last 2 days of our stay. It would have been helpful to have written instructions for how to operate the TVs, especially in the bedroom. Also, it would be nice to know what TV service/ streaming a visitor could use. I communicated with property management using texts and they were able to help get us into the bedroom TV. In terms of the Ekahi complex, while we were close to one of the small pools, the pool is not heated so swimming in it is not overly comfortable. Good place to just hang out. We mostly used the main pool which is heated and near the beach and got some of our daily exercise trekking back and forth to the main pool. In terms of the adjacent public beach which we enjoyed using on past visits, Mother Nature did not cooperate during our stay. The surf was high and rough, and the beach was nonexistent. So, we did not have a close place within walking distance do some snorkeling. The unit is next to Wailea Alanui Dr. so the road noise - stereo subwoofers, loud motorcycles, etc. - can be a bit annoying. But we had no problem sleeping and during the day we out of the unit.

Lovely unit

We loved this unit, having a second bathroom was convenient and the large lanai was great. Also the extra lanai/garden off the bedroom was a bonus. The only thing missing was a kettle.

Excellent location

We love staying in the Ekahi Village. This unit has a quiet shaded patio. The AC in the bedroom was what we needed to cool off after a long day. Pool 3 is right out the door, although it is not heated it refreshing on hot days! Its a walk to the beach and main heated pool but we considered that a good added workout.

Perfect South Maui Condo

We loved staying in this unit at Ekahi Village! Super well equipped with everything we needed for our stay in Maui - we especially appreciated all of the beach equipment like chairs, coolers, towels, and even snorkel gear! The unit is spacious, clean, comfortable, and quiet. Even though it’s towards the back of the property, we had a lovely view of one of the quiet pools and a walk to the beach was only about 5 minutes. Also great access to the road to walk to other resorts or down to the beach path. Such great bang for your buck here - I’ll be recommending it to others for sure. We did not hear any road noise, if that’s a concern. Wonderful stay - the only problem was that it had to end!

Amazing Wailea Condo

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful Wailea condo. The place was even better than the photos online. So clean, updated and very well appointed with a full kitchen, extra towels, welcome basket, beautiful lanai and the list goes on! The bed was incredibly comfortable with the softest sheets! Air conditioning also in the main area as well as the bedroom which was perfect after a hot day. The condo is the furthest from the beach so should be a consideration if walking is an issue. We had a small problem with the toilet and maintenance came immediately to fix it. The staff at this property are very personable and friendly. The pools are warm and clean. The views from the lower pool deck are captivating. We will absolutely come back and recommend this condo and property to our friends and family. Thanks for a wonderful 2 weeks!!

Ekahi 45a

We have stayed at Ekahi village many times in different units , we like the property and the beach. This was our second stay in 45a we like the location to the small pool , very close to the condo, if the wind comes up down at the beach this pool in protected from the wind. Its a little bit of a walk down to the beach pavilion so if you don't like the walk you may choose a condo closer. We had one problem with the internet modem at they came and fixed it the same day so we were very happy with the service . we will stay in this unit again

Good value Unit in Ekahi Village

The updated unit was attractively appointed. The road noise was an issue for me, not for my partner. People with whom I spoke said road noise for building 45 can be an issue for some people. Bed was a softer bed and the mattress shows signs of its age, but for most guests would be okay. The rate offered excellent value for Ekahi Village so overall I have no complaints and would be fine with staying there again.

Large Comfortable Condo

Very quiet development. This unit was closest to the road but not a problem at all for noise. However, a very long walk to the beach and beach front pool especially carrying beach chairs etc. Quite uphill on the way back. We found it easier to drive around and park down at the beach. The condo is very well equipped and huge for a one bedroom unit. Three items need to be improved. The en-suite shower does not have hot enough water. The bedroom, living and dining room are carpeted with an older, off white carpet. Really not suitable for a beach resort. Laminate or engineered wood flooring would be a huge improvement. The kitchen is overdue for a remodel. Cupboards and counters are old and tired. Overall, a lovely, quiet location and spacious unit. Really appreciated the beach chairs, sun umbrellas, cooler and ice packs. Well done in that regard!
