Townhouse was clean and well stocked. Views from upstairs lanai are expansive. On island contact (Cheri) was attentive and apologetic.Both air conditioners were not functioning. Townhouse was like walking into a steam room. There was a portable ac unit downstairs. You had to run this portable unit constantly to even get condo to a reasonable comfort level. A second unit was brought in after a few days which helped. It was difficult to remain in unit from around 11am til sundown. Cheri confirmed that she spoke with the manager or owner. We were not informed of this situation before we arrived.We have not received any compensation or apologies. I have never left a negative review before however there comes a time when things need to be in the open.

Convenient and nice

The condo spaces seem about 20-30% bigger in real compared to the pictures. Easy 5min walk to the pleasant beach nearby. Everything clean, nicely furnished. Many good places to eat within a few minutes drive. Beautiful and well maintained tropical plants all over the grounds. Great views upstairs and downstairs.

Property is very nice, plenty of room for 2 adults and up to 2 children. Located right next to one of the 4 pools on property and a short walk down to the beach.

Looking forward to returning soon!

We had a wonderful stay at the condo, it was well stocked for our 8 day stay and we had plenty of everything we needed. Anything else is readily available at the Island Gourmet Market in the Wailea Shopping Center. The bed was very comfortable. The air conditioner can be a tad noisy, but almost every night around 6pm a breeze would come up and we would open up all of the windows and sliding glass door upstairs. There is a small pool and 2 BBQ's very close by, so we cooked dinner a couple of nights. Our favorite feature about the property is the Main pool and pavilion down by the ocean. We spent the first half of our trip there everyday. We were sad to find out that the pool would be closed for re-surfacing the second 1/2 half of our trip. It should greatly enhance the area when done. The kitchen and pavilion area are amazing and are well maintained throughout the whole day. There is also a nice workout facility and nice restrooms. It's like being at a hotel resort only rules and people. We cannot wait to return with our whole family.

This spacious townhouse is located near the pool and is only 5 minutes from the beach. It’s well appointed and maintained by the owner and has comfy beachy furnishings. Enjoy the midnight sky and gaze at the stars from the lounge chairs or see the sunset over the ocean. Shopping at Wailea is only 1.3 miles away. If you want delicious coffee go to Akamai Coffee Shop. Relax. Slow down your pace at this gem

Exceeds expectations

The most clean, well stocked rental we’ve ever experienced. Enjoying the ocean and sunset views from the upper balcony was a highlight of our trip. You even see the ocean while resting in bed. We appreciated all the storage space and suitcase racks, extra towels, laundry basket and plentiful hangers. They left enough hand soap, laundry/dishwasher detergent, paper towels and storage/trash bags that to get through our stay which was a big perk and not standard. They also supply coffee creamer, sugar and filters. Pools and beach access were top notch. You can even bring food and beverages to store and cook at the main pavilion’s full kitchen! I am so happy we stayed here instead of a more expensive resort. You can walk just down the road or beach to enjoy resort life at several within walking distance. A perfect Maui vacation! Mahalo!

Great unit

Ekahi village is always great but this unit was really exceptional. The kitchen had everything we wanted and with really high quality. Toys for kids and snorkeling gear etc. we will book again:)

Great place to stay in Wailea!

Loved this property. Just as billed, ocean front view, spacious condo, kitchen well stocked for cooking. Beautifully maintained grounds and a short walk to the beach. I snorkeled at the beach right outside of the property and saw 3 sea turtles! Great communication from friendly hosts as well. Highly recommend!

Great location and space

Great location that is walkable to beach. Rental included beach necessities such as cooler, beach chairs, and beach towels. Plenty of space, well-stocked kitchen, and air conditioning. Would stay again and reccomend

The listing was just like the listing described on VRBO. There were 4 or 5 dried up millipedes in the carpeted area that made us feel like the condo wasn’t vacuumed before we got there. They were also doing construction on the condo right in front of the one we rented, so that was loud a lot of the time, which isn’t the condos fault necessarily, BUT ALSO the listing states that checkout is at 11, however a lady, I am assuming from the resort, busted in the front door while we were still getting ready and told us to leave. The time noted was 10:20 when this happened. We kindly told her that our checkout was at 11 and she kept arguing with us. I’m not sure what communication error happened there between VRBO and the condo, but my checkout time was given to me at 11. Other that that, a decent place to stay.

Perfect location - pool a few steps from the property (that nobody really goes to so it's quiet). Five minute stroll to the beach. Property was in great shape and they even stock it with essentials (salt/pepper, olive oil, garbage bags, toilet paper, etc) so you don't have to worry. If you're into snorkeling go to the beach and hang a left then walk to the resort next door. There is a reef that stretches out about a 1/4 mile with great views. We saw turtles every time we went out.

Family Reunion/Funeral Service Trip

The condo worked very well for our family on this trip. Out of the 30 some odd people we had coming to Maui for the funeral service, we had 5 groups staying in Ekahi Village and all enjoyed their stay and the location of the units.

room for improvement

Pluses: -Really great location within Ekahi- not directly off main greenbelt but easy access and private. -We tend to eat most meals in, and had everything needed to cook -view from second floor is amazing! -close to a quiet pool -really comfortable bed -solar shades on both lanais so at dinner time when the sun is glaring in your face you can lower and it makes the lanais useful any time minuses: -the unit is in need of renovation. Master shower area looks like it has been upgraded recently. -the unit smelled musty upon arrival (unsure if it had been rented just prior to us being there or not) but we were able to clear it out within an hour or 2 of being there. I think it's because the carpet needs to be replaced. -ants were a bit of an issue. I say that because interestingly, the tiny island ants don't swarm the food the way mainland ants do. Informed owner on sunday, bug guy was scheduled to come tuesday though he didn't come when we were there so unsure if he came. We just kept most food in frig but they appeared in various areas of the condo then would pop up elsewhere. They weren't unbearable but should be better addressed. I will say while we had a wonderful time, we wouldn't choose to stay here again unless it's been renovated. - The unit

Better Than Advertised

27C exceeded our expectations. The place was spotless; the kitchen very well stocked; bedding, sheets, and towels of high quality; and a full supply of beach chairs, umbrellas, and other goodies available. Excellent communication from the owners made getting in a breeze. Highly recommend!

Simply perfect!

Very comfortable and roomy accommodations with great views of sunset every evening. Was equipped with pretty much everything one could think of in a condo. Just steps away from a quiet pool and a short walk down to the beach. Ideal location, close to Wailea and Kihei with lots available in either direction. Looked even nicer in person than in photos as there seems to be some recent updating.

Awesome condo for our honeymoon!

Very conveniently located and well appointed condo. Spectacular views from 1st floor patio and second floor lanai. Enjoyed breakfast each morning on the patio and sunsets on the lanai with cocktails. Beach gear provided was a plus and used it every day. Had everything we needed!
