We loved this location, so walkable. I stayed here in a different villa in January and it was perfect! Great communication with the hosts, the pool and property is so beautiful, and we could walk to get a lava java coffee in the morning and a shaved ice each night!

This is my forth time staying at the Villas at the Cove and I have now enjoyed three separate units. I must say that they are all very modern, comfortable, quiet and well equipped. The property is an oasis in the little corner of Cove park.

Nice place!

The condo is super clean, everything seemed brand new. They provide beach chairs, boogie boards and a cooler for each unit which is a nice touch. It’s a small gated complex with a great pool which we often had to ourselves. It’s located in busy Kihei but there are beaches (right across the street) and a lot of walkable and delicious food options nearby. We enjoyed our stay.

Loved the place! Clean, beautiful and the common area was perfect. The only complaint I have is that the bed is WAY too hard to sleep in. The last two nights my husband slept in the couch and I slept on couch cushions. Needs a new mattress.

Wedding Anniversary Getaway

My wife and I enjoyed everything about this location. Directly across from the beach. Rental came with 2 bodyboards 2 chairs 1cooler and access to surfboards on fcfs basis. Property and rental were very clean. Located near food and groceries. Communication was excellent. Would definitely stay here again.

Villas at the Cove

The pictures were accurate. The location across from the Cove offered wonderful sunsets and views of the neighboring islands. I did have a few issues with the unit in question. The first was the cleanliness of the area rug. It was extremely dirty for such a nice place. I could tell it was shampooed, but it was still damp and had an odor. 2nd, our kitchen window shade was not cut properly, so it did not offer privacy as it ought. 3rd, due to the setup and nature of the villas, it's be nice to have a privacy window tint. I would say smoked tint to still allow light, but aid in the privacy factor. Lastly, the bed was VERY hard. I still liked and enjoyed the venue. I would rent again.

Great location and place

What the pics don't really describe is that you are in a small compound of about 9 villas. They all surround a great pool and common area. You are across from a small park but if you walk left around the corner, you end up on a long and pretty beach. You are also about a 10 minute walk from grocery stores and restaurants. The only negative experience was the firmness of the bed. The bed was rock hard and too firm for our taste. Like your hips hurt in the morning kind of hard. Other than that, the place was great. It would also be a great place for families if you can figure out how to rent multiple bungalows to accommodate large get togethers. On a side note, we really liked Maui. We live on Oahu but Maui was all the things we like about Hawaii but at a slower place. And that quietness was a nice change in terms of traffic, people, parking, etc.

Great time in Maui!

My husband and I had an excellent time in the villa we rented in Kihei for our honeymoon! The residence was very clean and was furnished with everything we needed. When we arrived, we were shown around by the property manager, so that we were familiar with all the facilities. Our villa was right across from an excellent beach as well. Communication with the property manager was great; he answered all of our questions very quickly! We definately plan on returning to this location for another visit and we would recommend this villa to everyone we know.

This home has been remodeled beautifully. We were fortunately able to get upgraded as surrounding construction was happening. The property upgrades look like they will be awesome! Excellent and convenient. Kihei was near to everything we needed - beach, golf, food,

Villa was very cozy for the two of us. Nice kitchen and amenities. Lovely bath and shower. Sofa table was pretty but a bit dangerous with its sharp glass corners and being a bit larger than necessary for the room size. Plenty of closet and drawer space. Ample kitchenware and appliances to cook when we wanted to stay in. Parking spot for Villa 2 was tricky but manageable. Felt very secure all the time and noise from adjacent beach lot was only loud until a bit after dark, then fine. Loved being able to walk to watch sunset, walk to secluded beach and walk to nearby shops/food. Price and location were perfect for us and would come back here again without reservation. Hoping to be doing that soon.
