As good or even better than listed! It’s the best beach for swimming and walking. Very convenient little stores right across the street (a farmer’s market for produce, a bakery, shave ice, and gift shop) all of which are great quality and service. We travelled quite a bit of the island looking at other options and have to say that this condominium was well worth the price. We would stay here again.

Great Condo

This condo was in a great location for our first time staying in Kehei. First, the view was lovely and just as described in the listing. You could walk a long ways on the beach both directions. The water was dirty but that was most likely due to the recent flood so we didn’t swim there. Across the street was a farmers market and shave ice stand which we took advantage of for sure. The grounds at this resort were very nice and clean and everything was so convenient. Great communication for check in and making sure we had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked. We were only there for 3 days but had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend to couples looking for a nice quiet place.

Short beach vacation

Property was very nice. Had everything we needed in a full 1 bedroom condo. Great location in central part of island to get to other spots. Location was right on the beach. Watched sunsets from the beach or the condo balcony.

Best location and right on the beach!

We couldn’t have been happier with our condo. Such a great location to a beautiful sandy beach. Just in the outskirts of Kihei which we love. An amazing bakery right across the street and Ululani Shave ice!! The unit had everything we needed from beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, ice chests and even general spices and zip lock bags for the weekly stay. We’ll be back!

OK but....

The location of the property left us pretty far from just about anything. There was very little within walking distance. Unfortunately for us the Chaparral boat wreck was directly in front of our condo unit. That's nobody's fault but made for an eyesore of a view. The unit was well equipped and comfortable. All things considered I would not stay in that part of Kihei again.

Enjoyed our stay in the condo - kitchen a little tight, and the condo could use an up-date, but worked well for us. The view---not so great with the beached boat out in front, but otherwise good area - loved the convenience of the mini mall across the street.

Beautiful view but keep scrolling

The view is most definitely the best asset of this property. Sitting on the deck watching the sunset and seeing the ocean with the beach literally within 50 steps is amazing. The beach is small but there is plenty of room for an umbrella and chairs and you can swim in the ocean without stepping on rocks really easily. The two boogie boards, snorkels and umbrellas were also handy. Cooler was small but it did the trick. However, this isn’t your 5 star rental. We asked for another bar of soap on the 3rd day and were told the 2x2 square in the bathroom was only meant ti be a “starter soap”. It was suggested we hit ABC storefor additional soap. This was the same for the shampoo, toilet paper and dishwasher soap. So if you want to wash dishes more than four times during your stay, I’d suggest you bring your own. I’d also suggest short showers if there is more than one person. The water heater will not provide two hot showers in a row. The kitchen coffee grinder was amazing but I would think a rubber spatula is a staple in most kitchens? Apparently not. Bring your own binoculars. I asked if they had a spare and was told I could procure them at ABC store. The bed here is uncomfortable and lumpy. The worst part is even with the blinds closed there is a bright light in the walkway outside that doesn’t turn off at night which means the light shines in your face. Also, blinds need to be closed at all times for privacy. Keep scrolling if you want the view. It has to be better

Awesome location!

The property was great, right on the beach with an amazing view. Nice little hang out spot on the grass overlooking the water. Spacious deck as well which was perfect for morning coffee and wine at sunset. The location is great because it’s in a non-congested area but close to anywhere you need to drive to.

Bad bed

We were in Kihei during some very unfortunate weather and had to change accommodations. We cannot fault Sunny Maui Vacations for that. They were accommodating when we asked to move for these reasons. I have to write this review concerning the bed and the bedding. Please purchase a new mattress for this property! There is currently a very thick and much too soft mattress pad on the bed and we woke up with sore backs every morning. The sheets feel cheap and are getting threadbare. Getting comfortable sleep is important on a vacation!

Overall, a nice place to stay

Unit is clean and location on the ocean on a gorgeous and very walkable beach is outstanding. Being on South Kihei Road allows very easy access to everything. Unit is a little rustic and could use a little updating, but it’s very adequate. The bed was very hard and needs a new mattress, but the property managers were truly outstanding and delivered mattress topper and brand new bedding that totally transformed the bed to comfortable. Be ready for roosters crowing at 2 am every morning…bring earplugs. Overall, however we enjoyed our stay very much. Would probably not stay in this particular int again though.

Good location, nice view. Condo complex is right on the beach and also has a pool. Property was clean. Hosts even have beach towels, chairs, coolers, etc for you to use.

Very relaxing place

We enjoyed our stay here. We spent most of our time on the lanai, but when we were inside the AC and ceiling fans worked very well. There wasn't anything with this place at all.

100% AMAZING

The condo is located in such a nice quiet spot, but has all great farmers market, an amazing bakery and ABC Store with all the you need. The view in the afternoon is beyond words. Lastly, Maui Sunny Vacations that manages the condo was magnificent, great communication and a very quick response in all my inquiries. Will definitely come back.

Quiet, Peaceful getaway.

Older unit, clean and perfect location to the beach. Loved watching the canoe clubs practice everyday! Beautiful sunsets. Family orientated with Sandy beach and pool. Only downfall to the unit is it is not within walking distance to restaurants or bars which wasn’t a problem for us. Best quacamole on the island in the farmers market across the street!

Kihei Beach Condominium

This place was exactly as advertised, absolutely beautiful location feet from the beach. Place was clean, kitchen had everything we needed to make our own meals which we ate watching the sun set on our private lanai. Check in process was easy as could be, neighbors were quiet, we couldn’t be happier.

Beautiful

We loved our stay in this condo. It is right on the water, and you can fall asleep to waves crashing the shore if you like. The condo was clean upon arrival, and the checkin process was seamless with strong communication from vacation management. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed for cooking in. The location was perfect- far enough away from the busy “tourist” scene while close enough to enjoy all that Kihei and the island offers. The Farmers Market and ABC store across the street were so convenient- we frequented for fresh fruit, açaí bowls, fresh coconuts, pastries and more. The condo comes equipped with everything you need for a beach adventure — 3 coolers of varying sizes, 5 beach chairs, beach towels, beach toys, boogie boards, snorkeling gear and umbrella. The umbrella is cheap and doesn’t withstand the wind rendering it pretty useless. It would be nice to have an upgrade for guests. Also, though there were four boogie boards, all but one were broken. Again, just needs an upgrade. We love exploring Maui beaches, but the beach directly in front of the condo was great for lounging, sandcastle making and swimming. Also, our kids loved playing in the pool! Our family of four loved our stay, and we would definitely stay at Kihei Beach rentals again.

Fantastic condo and location!

Incredible ocean views, clean and comfortable condo, great pool and beach access, and perfect for quiet strolling. On top of all of this, you are right across the street from fantastic shave ice, yummy bakery, grocery store, and farmer’s market filled with beautiful fresh produce. We want to return!

Great location. Easy from airport and a great place to begin the day. The sounds of the ocean were great each day. The place was just like the pictures. The beach toys and cooler were used every day. I would recommend to friends and family.

Great location, right on the beach, well appointed condo,well maintained.

Very nice unit (305). Building has elevator, unit has dishwasher with granite counter tops and large lanai, we always appreciate these amenities. We love the location right on sugar beach with a great pool onsite. This is the second time we have stayed here and will return!

Nicely decorated, clean, good location, comfortable - appreciate the provided supplies.

The condo was very nice and the customer service at Sunny Maui Vacations was excellent. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the ocean water in this area isn't as pretty as in some other areas - obviously, not a reflection on the condo, and the pool closes pretty early so we weren't able to swim at night. Of course, I understand why. The condo is in a great location to be able to see the rest of Maui. Very comfortable and well maintained. I'd definitely recommend it!
