We enjoyed our stay at the Maui Sunset. Overall, the unit is as described. We enjoyed having 2 full bathrooms, a well-equipped full kitchen, and access to the pool. We appreciated the pool was heated so we could swim in the evening. Our family of 4 fit very comfortably with the Murphy bed, pull-out couch, and bed room. My only complaint is the pull out couch was very noisy and any slight movement made a lot of noise. The location in Kīhei was good. It's easy to access all areas of the island easily, and also close to many dining areas and grocery stores. The property manager was kind to share with us how easily we could view sea turtles at sunset a few minute walk away.The only issue we had this trip was the elevator outside our unit was broken during our stay. We had to use the elevator at the front of the building or 5 flight of stairs. While not generally an issue once we figured it out, getting there without knowing this and all our luggage was challenging. Check-in with the front desk is also challenging with the limited hours offered as we came in.
