In general things were pretty nice. This was spoiled by the fact that we were given the wrong code to open the door lockbox! After 30 min & trying various we got the right number: 7512: not 7510. Once we opened the door we saw there were no door passes for the outside door; no need since those outside doors have no latch. Also, our info mentioned 2 bdrms; we had 1 (which was okay). Confusing instructions! But… really enjoyed the yellow cat who stood guard at our sliding door all day every day.

Pam and Glyn's Maui Banyan Retreat was everything they advertised and so much more. Clean, cozy, and filled with all the beach toys and gear you could ever need. It made the trip special. The location of Pam and Glyn's home in Kihei made it fantastic to eat locally, travel Up-country, and cruise around to all the fun beaches in Maui. Just a real gem and we look forward to visiting again. The Banyan staff and grounds crew are so friendly and helpful. It was always a pleasure running into them while they continued to keep the grounds so beautiful.

Family Reunion 2025

Property was very nice, clean and perfect for our little mother, daughter vacation. Loved the extras like beach chairs, boogie boards and coolers that were used for beach days and exploring the island. Kihei is a perfect place to stay on Maui and the Banyan is in the middle of everything. Thank you for sharing your condo.

Location Highly Desirable

Property is in a beautiful location. Everything is fully furnished. The only thing I would highly recommend for the property manager is to replace the mattress for the bedroom and the sofa.

Enjoyable Stay

The unit was great! Just as advertised with all the kitchen gadgets, pots and pans, appliances, etc. Plus, all the beach paraphernalia you could possibly need. Clean, well stocked and a great view out the back. Other than a small hiccup at check-in, our stay was very pleasant and we would highly recommend them.

I absolutely loved staying at Pam & Glyn's property, the process was seamless from start to finish! It was stocked with basic necessities, and then some. It was quiet & you cannot beat the location with Kam II beach across the street and tons of restaurants/shops in walking distance. I cannot wait to return!

Maui Dream

Such a fantastic location! So close to the best beaches and to watch all of the sunsets! The ground floor location of Pam and Glyns place was perfect for running to the pool and only a few steps to their parking space when brining in luggage and groceries. We enjoyed our vacation in Maui very much! We will definitely return!

Great time in Maui!

My husband and I had a great stay at Pam and Glyns condo for our first anniversary. Was super easy to check in/out and had great amenities for the beach and pool like beach chairs, towels, boogie boards etc. Was very clean and exactly as pictured.

A wonderful stay at Maui Banyan Retreat in Kihei

A quiet and shady condo nestled in a tropical garden. The condo was very clean and well furnished. Communication with the owners was extremely friendly, courteous and responses to questions were answered very quickly. We would book Pam and Glyn's accommodation again should we have the opportunity to come back to Maui.

Outstanding Host, Property and Experience!

My wife and I had an AMAZING time on this first trip to Maui. All the info we needed and more was provided at booking. The unit was as beautiful as the pictures, everything we could possibly need was provided and we took advantage of the beach accessories, info on local attractions, pool & barbeque. I can't think of a way this experience could have been improved. Pam & Glyn were so thoughtful and complete with their instructions and recommendations. The completely outfitted kitchen, unit layout with 2nd bath, cleanliness, location, privacy, peace and quiet......I can go on and on, everything was excellent. Condo staff were also extremely friendly, and the grounds were immaculate (landscaping staff ever present). The pool near us was cleaned daily, hot tub is actually hot and the grills looked like they have never been used (and I used them). The assigned parking space was also very close by. When, not if we return, this will be our first choice - no need to look again. Thank you Pam and Glyn for opening your home and enabling a trip and so many wonderful memories! To future guests, we also made the right decision to use a local company for car rental, Makoa Rental Car. It was less costly than the big agencies, car is left right in the airport parking lot (no shuttle, waiting or lines), ours was fairly new with low miles and communication was excellent - a no brainer if what you need is provided by them. My husband and I had a wonderful stay in this comfortable and well equipped condo. Very clean, walking distance to beach, stores and restaurants. We loved the ground floor and that it was close to pool. Really appreciated the beach equipment. We would definitely stay here again.

Location, location, location!

Pam’s condo, just a short jaunt to the warm Maui waters, was a perfect spot to unwind. The complex has beautiful grounds and at least 2 pools, one very close to the unit (but not noisy). The beach is just across the street from the complex. Inside the unit was fully stocked with any amenity you might need from beach supplies to cooking tools. The A/C was cold! The bed was comfy. Parking included. Great restaurants nearby. Fantastic Maui getaway!
