The AC shorted out which caused electrical issues. The property management worked with me and immediately refunded my money and moved into another condo.

Great Stay

Our place was exactly as described. It was clean and in a perfect location. Everyone I talked to with property management was amazing to work with. We will definitely be back. We made wonderful memories in a perfect spot. Thank you!!

Best location

Clean and spacious condo for 2-4 people. This condo is on 3rd floor and able to view the ocean from the balcony. Great lighting and views. It had all the amenities needed including beach chairs and 2 boogie boards. The location is a great spot in walking distance to food and shopping and the beach. The beach across was great for snorkeling and seeing turtles.

Great vacation stay

Fabulous kitchen, dining, living, lanai - bright and cheerful and comfortable. One looks forward to returning here after a tiring day out. Deserving of 5 stars. Downside is the a/c installed in the living area doesn't quite reach the bedroom area - makes for a somewhat stifling nights. But a minor issue. Great location with stores, eating places, a beach just around the corner. Would come back here without doubt.

Would stay again!

Ideal location and comfy condo! We were able to walk to most locations and such an easy walk to the beach. The condo was very clean and just as described. Would highly recommend and would also stay again!

Great place to stay in the heart of Kihei

The unit was spacious and very clean. SplitAC in the living room is a huge plus. The washer/dryer in the unit would come in handy for extended trips as well. Location is convenient with lots of places to eat close by. Kamaole Beach Park I is right across the street, no need to drive.

Fantastic Stay at one of best locations in Kihei

Had a wonderful week here with our family of 4. The sofa bed was incredibly comfortable. The most comfortable sofa bed I can remember. The lanai is spacious and looks out on a lovely view of the grounds with the ocean across the street. Quiet and very pleasant. Super convenient for walking to everything. The space was very clean and nicely maintained. Very close to the pool, grill and hot tub. I especially enjoyed the ample shower flow. Would love to stay here again sometime! Highly recommended. Mahalo!

Great spot

Awesome location, apartment had everything we needed. Little sliver of ocean view was nice on the lanai. Suite was very clean, nice pool. Only issue was when we got there the code they gave us to open the door was wrong but we called the emergency number and they answered right away and gave us a different code, so no problem. Would stay again!

The Lanai Will be Your Favorite Place

We are return vacationers because the location in South Kihei is perfect, the location of the condo within the complex is extremely quiet, and the large private lanai is the perfect place to drink morning coffee or a glass of wine as the day fades away. Third floor means no safety concerns to leave the the lanai slider door open all night for fresh tropical breezes. The pool is a great Plan B if the trade winds dust up on the beach. Lots of steps and levels to navigate for physically challenged, but if this is not a problem for you it's an ideal property. We had one need and Midway management team responded immediately. TIP: If you can get a parking spot in the lower lot, leave your sandy beach gear in the car's trunk and save some carrying equipment up & down from the unit. We recommend Kahului Auto, too, if you don't need a fancy ride -- they leave the keys in your rental car at the airport and it saves the time and effort of shuttling to a national rental center.

Convenient Kihei Condo

The condo was exactly what we needed for our 4 day stay in Maui. Many great food options in Kihei. The property manager was responsive when I asked a question the day we were checking in.

Would not recommend

Poor management. There were only 2 bath towels for 4 guests. We kept trying to contact them through text, phone and email. Took 2 days. There was just one beach towel. The umbrella was broken. There’s only one beach chair. The boogie board was broken. We ended up leaving the umbrella, the chairs and some boogie boards we purchased. There are no extra pillowcases for the pull out couch. The place was “wiped down” with a dry cloth but furniture had this layer of dust one would have to wash off. There was lint still in the lint trap and behind the lint trap. There is a electrical wire taped up and dangling behind the artwork by bedroom. Just overall poor property management. We have friends stay next door, and it was night and day. You can tell when an owner and property manager/cleaning crew care about a property. Would not recommend.

Had a nice stay overall

This is a nice property to stay in Kihei. It's at a very convenient location. The apt looks clean except we found one live cockroach and one dead cockroach in the kitchen and living room. The AC works well which is really nice when the temperature is above 85 and humidity is above 90%. There're not enough bath room towers for our 5 day stay even though we used our own towers. There's only one trash bag in each trash bin so that we had to improvise to use grocery bags to carry out trash each day.

Great location with huge private patio

The Ali'i Kai condominium building is across from a chain of three amazing beaches and within walking distance from many restaurants and services. We've stayed many places in Kihei, and -- if you are not challenged by steps and staircases -- this condo will not disappoint. The outdoor space provided on the expansive lanai is hard to beat...with a view of the ocean in the distance, welcome breezes and iconic sunsets, we spent countless hours at the table or resting in the loungers. This unit was well-equipped and quiet. Would stay again!

Great location

Condo was comfortable and the location is great! Beach chairs and umbrella were nice. Great lanai Very easy to walk to the beach, restaurants and bars. As others have mentioned there is no elevator so getting luggage up and down the stairs is a bit of work. Also when I booked the listing said it was a Cal King bed but it was actually a Queen. This was a bit frustrating but the property manager was very responsive and apologetic. They acknowledged the mistake and offered a solution quickly. Would stay again!

Très bien !

Adoré l’endroit , très bien situé. Cuisine très bien équipée et tout le nécessaire pour aller à la plage À améliorer: salle de bain serait à rénover et le lave-vaisselle à vérifier. Serviettes propres mais décolorés . Merci pour ce beau séjour reposant .

Kihei Vacation

The condo was very comfortable and well furnished with linens, towels, and light blankets. Kitchen supplies included plenty of dishes, drinking glasses, coffee mugs, silverware, and cookware. Beach chairs, beach towels, umbrella, and cooler added to our enjoyment of the beach just down the street. As senior citizens, we appreciated being away from the pool and enjoyed the peaceful vibes. We couldn’t get the oven to work but prompt attention rectified the problem. Overall, this property reflected an owner’s care and attention to details beyond our expectations for a rental. We will definitely return.

Not for people with mobility issues

The condo is nice, spacious , comfortable and everything was great. However the property is a maze and there are many stairs that are unavoidable. There is an elevator but you still need to climb 3 sets of steps to enter and leave. The pool requires several sets of stairs too. There are a few parking spots near the said elevator that requires 3 sets of stairs, but if you have to park in the upper lot it is extremely dark walking down the road. We had a nightmare the night we came in, we took the upper elevator and walked thru the entire complex at midnight with all our luggage. Ten plus sets of stairs. I’m writing this as a person with a bad knee, bad hip and blind in one eye. It’s a wonderful place if you don’t have issues.

Great location

The rooms were a comfortable size for two people. Great location, walking distance to beach, coffee, restaurants and shops. Was confusing the first couple days finding our room in section B 300s. It was clean and kitchen well supplied.

Very nice place. Lots of room. Lots of equipment for the beach, well stocked kitchen, comfortable bed. Beautiful pool. Less than 5 min to beach. Some stairs required to enter condo.
