Week in Maui

This unit was wonderful - clean, had everything we needed (beach chairs and tent) and on the beach. The communication was excellent and a very positive experience. Please use them for your next vacation!!!

Great destination condo

This is a great location to just sit and relax. Everything is right within walking distance, or a short drive away. Great snorkeling and swimming right out front of the building. Shopping and dining opportunities abound.

Fabulous location and responsive management

Fabulous beach front location. Had a bit of trouble getting in but management was SUPER responsive (like within 2minutes). Agree with some reviews that say a bit tired but pretty minor upgrades could address this (like maybe time to replace area rugs and service AC unit). No grill on property but well stocked kitchen with an amazing view!

Would come back!

The unit had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and we loved the deck too. Great location can do a 20 minute walk and be at several restaurants and stores. Loved walking the beach every morning and snorkeling down the beach. We used the pool as well. We were happy we picked this place.

Amazing Beach Time in Maui

This condo was a memory maker for our family. The condo was gorgeous with amazing views. The fact that we could literally walk right out onto a beautiful beach was the perfect vacation. The condo had a boogie board that my kids loved using to catch waves. There was also a perfect area for snorkeling also. The 2 king beds also provided perfect comfort so we were rested to play the next day. My kids continued to say that this was the best vacation ever. Maui is awesome and the condo was also. I can't speak any higher of it. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks Todd and Jace for all your help and allowing us the opportunity to make forever memories with our family!

Great location, beautiful property!

We stayed at Hale Hui Kai complex for the second time in March 2024 for spring break. We love this property and the close proximity to the Keawakapu Beach just steps down from the condo. We were a little worried about the beach erosion from the storms earlier this year, but the beach was as beautiful as ever. The condo was equipped with all the inside items (cooking/towels/soap, etc) needed for our stay. The condo has an ocean view off the lanai and we saw tons of whales during this trip, and an abundance of turtles while swimming and snorkeling at the rocks below the condo. This condo has a nice shower in the master as well as a tub for kids in the second bathroom. A/C was in both bedrooms and the main living area along with dehumidifiers, which made a huge difference for comfortable sleeping. No boogie boards, water toys, or sand toys for kids that we usually find left by other guests, but there were plenty of beach chairs, a cooler, and an umbrella for the beach. Overall this stay was great and we love this property, especially having young kids (ages 4 & 6) and not needing to pack up all of our stuff in the car every day to go to the beach.

We had an excellent experience with our stay at this property. The communication with the property management was amazing and they were very accommodating. The maintenance of the condo and the surrounding area was very good, including the common areas and pool. The barbecue pits were cleaned every morning and were in very good condition. The property is just across the street from the beach and has an amazing view from the lanai. It is within walking distance from many restaurants and shopping areas. Since the weather was very pleasant, the ceiling fans in each room (including each bathroom!) were sufficient and we did not need the air conditioners; however, they are available in both bedrooms. The kitchen was very well equipped with dishes, silverware, cooking utensils, and pots and pans, and the blender was a bonus! There were two couples staying in the unit, and we each had our private space in the bedrooms and bathrooms. The towels and linens were in excellent condition, with extras of each. There were so many nice surprises included in the condo which we did not expect, such as luggage racks, a tower fan, a pull-down shade on the lanai to help with the late afternoon sun, and a large table and chairs on the lanai to enjoy meals outdoors. Beach chairs, several beach umbrellas and a small cooler were available to make the trips to the beach even better. We could not have asked for more from our stay here. We definitely recommend both the condo & the management company!

Pleasant but needs Improvement

The property is very expensive $450 per night and no half day stays. There are no BBQs on site. The views are great and the location right on Keawakapu is awesome. The building is designed to capture the view and the breeze. The parking stalls are tiny. The noise carries from unit to unit. Our unit had no cold or cool water in the MB ensuite shower. A/C units worked well. Second bedroom had a missing blind on one window. No privacy. All windows had immovable baffles (shutters that were painted and stuck either open or closed) The dishes were mix and match and some had cracks in them. The knifes were not sharp - not even close. The cutlery was low standard. The teflon frying pans are worn. The kick on the cupboard beside the fridge kept falling off. Loved the starter pack left by management. I've been to Maui 16 times over the years staying in Kihei at various condos. This place was alright but not exactly great value.

Amazing Stay

We had an amazing stay on Maui. If you are looking for the perfect central location directly on one of Maui’s best beaches, look no further. Our unit #208 was clean and comfortable. Our family of five had plenty of space. The views of the ocean are breathtaking, yet the unit’s location still feels private. The unit had beach chairs, an umbrella, and a cooler, which was so nice to enjoy. The communication was excellent and extremely responsive, even though we didn’t run into any issues during our stay. Would highly recommend and look forward to returning. Mahalo!

Great location/price

The guidelines for this review are bad because we have stayed multiple units in this location during our visit. This unit was unclean and had bad smells while the other units were immaculate. Great location beautiful view overall.

Convenient place on the beach with easy access to food/etc.

First, wifi was good because I did spend some time doing work while there. Second, the place was clean and cool, which was nice in the heat. Two bedrooms, one with a dedicated bathroom/shower and a second full bath for the other bedroom. Open area kitchen and living room with seating for multiple people. The three of us had more than enough space. Third, wonderful close access to the beach with a view of the beach from our deck. A well-maintained property with a pool and path to the beach w/ a sand wash-off station. Less than a mile from shopping and necessities; maybe two miles to groceries. Plenty of other nearby beaches and parks to explore. Great snorkeling on the local beach and up to small reefs less than a couple hundred feet away.
