Perfect for our needs. Exceeded our expectations. The host was more than accommodating, going out of her way to help us through the tsunami uncertainties. Minor challenge reaching property/checkin due to construction in the condo complex. Would love to stay there again.

Vacation in Paradise

This condo was beautifully decorated and had everything you need, well stocked, comfortable beds, lots of space and great location in building 10 ! The grounds were beautiful and the view from the balcony was lovely, fountains, flowers, ocean, what more would you want!Contact with the owner Sandi was easy and quick, and the Issues we had were handled in record time.We had an amazing time and can’t wait to go back!

Nice to be near the beach

Just walk across the street and the beach is there. The unit is as pictured. The kitchen well stocked for cooking. Nice and spacious with two sitting areas. Very comfie!

Charming Beachy Condo

Fabulous location! Condo was comfortable and clean! The extra sitting room was a perfect fit for my son to make as an extra bedroom. The communication was excellent between myself and owner! Thank you for everything as we truly enjoyed our stay!

Great location and comfortable home away from home.

We have been to Maui several times but this was our first stay in the Kihei area. The resort was lovely with lots of open area for the kids to run around. At night, kids and families would gather to play games or catch. Our kids brought spikeball and had hours of fun. The villa had two bedrooms which was really nice as we have four kids! A little more privacy for everyone. The villa is well stocked for beach supplies and in the kitchen. While the villa is a little dated, the decor is lovely with lots of seating room. The balcony is not huge but overlooks the green space with an ocean view. The proximity to the beach cant be beat. It is just across the street and the villa is located nicely on the resort. We didn't spend much time at the pool but it was fine. There is a bit of a teen area with foosball and pingpong. It was always busy. The resort is pretty big and the pool not so much but who needs the pool when you have the beach! Our interactions with the owner were positive and timely. Sandi was lovely to deal with and when we had a minor issue with a door, it was quickly remedied. Thanks, Sandi :)

Never again.

Not a great place. I was dirty and had cockroaches. The A/C in the second bedroom is on a timer, so at 2am you have the pleasure of getting up and turning it back on. Hot water heater has very loud alarm to it. It went off at 9:30pm. Security finally showed upto shut it down. Apparently it was leaking. He then had to shut of the water heater. Now we have no hot water!! The only good thing about this place is the location and the elevator!

Great place

We had a lovely stay with kids(6,6,9) and grandma. There was lots of living room seating and we were able to get everyone around the dinner table. There wasn’t much room for dry food storage, but there were lots of dishes and cooking implements. Boogie boards, sand toys, chairs and umbrellas in the lanai closet. Lanai is small but has a nice view. Murphy bed was comfy and there’s a trifold mattress and packnplay in one of the closets. Location is unbeatable and the grounds are beautiful and safe. My kids ran around at will. We saw turtles, whales and a monk seal. Can’t wait to return!

Kamaole Sands

The resort property was beautifully maintained and very quiet. The unit with the extra space with a murphy bed suited our needs perfectly with 5 adults. The unit however is scheduled to be renovated the summer of 24 according to the owner and definitely shows its wear and tear. We had issues with several things and the owner was quick to respond and fix those that could be fixed. The kitchen needs a very deep clean with replacement of the very used cookware, more silverware, more plastic storageware and a new ice chest fo9 beach use. My wish is that this unit had been renovated before our 2 week stay.

Beautiful Views, Close to Beach

We had a nice stay with our Family in this unit, it was spacious and had a lot of the extras to make the stay more enjoyable. Close to beach and has a Beautiful view of the Ocean.

Wonderful stay in Kihei

We had a great stay at this condo with my 3 adults and one baby. The condo was as described and sitting on the lanai to enjoy the sunsets every night made it worth the price alone. Beach is across the street and condo and property is very well maintained. We can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful condo with amazing views

Visited Maui to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary with a vow renewal. Our 7th time staying at Kamole Sands. Perfect condo for a family of 6. Our prayers and thoughts are with the island as they recover from the fires that erupted during our stay.

2023 Maui vacation

The location was absolutely fantastic. The property was great too. Just a little dated. The condo itself was good overall but somewhat cramped for 6 guests. The bathrooms are very small. Overall, it was fine since we weren’t at the condo very much because we were out enjoying the beauty of Maui. However, things to be aware of…the A/C did not work very well in the bedrooms and we were a bit hot at night. Also, the kitchen could use some TLC and a refresh of the cooking supplies, appliances and cabinets. The property owner was very helpful and always responded quickly to our questions

Great Stay!

We had a great time at this property. The size of the condo was perfect and the views of the fountains and the ocean were some of my favorite things. It is a well decorated and cozy place to stay. It is older unit and a little darker than I would have liked as far as natural light coming in. The AC in the Master bedroom works but doesn't get very cold. Thankfully they have a ceiling fan and other fans in the unit to help cool things off at night. They have a wide selections of dishes and pots and pans but they are not the greatest of quality but they served the purpose. There were plenty of beach chairs, umbrella's, boogie boards etc. for our use and that was perfect for the short walk across the road to the beach. Overall we were very happy staying here. This is our 5th time staying at the Kamaole Sands complex and we love it there. Very laid back and low key area and a short walk or drive to shops and Fred's Mexican restaurant. We definitely recommend staying here. You will not be disappointed. Sandi was great to communicate with about our stay.

Beautiful view and great location!

We love sitting on the balcony enjoying the view. There were lots of lizards my kids enjoyed catching, mango trees dropping fruit, and the pool is a good temp. There is a ping pong table at the pool and the tennis courts are great with free clinics! Total win!!! The only downsides were hot air from the A/C that blows on the veranda if you have it on and lots of rules to be aware of around the grounds. Like no pool floaties allowed. Otherwise we loved it!!!

Wonderful island getaway

Our family of four had a wonderful stay at this property. The condo had everything we needed, and more! The murphy bed in extension off of the living room was a great addition. The beach supplies were fantastic to have, including swim fins for all of us! We took full advantage of enjoying breakfast on the lanai, some early morning time on the (easy to book) tennis courts, and the easy stroll to the beautiful beach just across the street. The ocean, fountains, wonderfully landscaped grounds, and mountain in the distance provided a beautiful view from any angle in the front of the condo. We had one day of pretty hard rain, and were happy to enjoy some indoor time playing games and hanging out in the condo. The owners were quick to reply to any questions we had. Overall, a perfect getaway!

Maui Spring Break 2023

5 STARS ALL AROUND. The property and condo and location were exceptional. Sandi and contact were easy to access if necessary and very welcoming. Fully stocked and able to hold our large family of 5 with 2 teenagers. We will definitely be returning in 2024. Thanks again Sandi for being an excellent host.

Tired property, great location

This property was very well laid out, but one kitchen cabinet was damaged, without a knob at all. The shower faucet needed plumbing work during the week, largely due to heavy use and age, and the shower door was rickety and scraped open with difficulty. We managed fine, but the place is so popular the owner keeps putting off the needed upgrade.

Great family getaway

The condo location can’t be beat. Short walk to the beach and ocean views from the lanai. The two bedroom condo with extra family room space is perfect for a family getaway. Kitchen had everything we needed for cooking some great meals and lots of dishes and spices in the cupboards. Really appreciated all the chairs and beach gear. We had everything we needed. Whale watching and weather was fabulous! Would highly recommend this condo for a family vacation.
