This is our 3rd stay at Punahoa. Our first visits were in 1997 and 2000, and we again found this facility and location to be ideal. Located in Kihei, it is an easy walk to restaurants, food carts, the “Snorkel Store”, & of course the ABC store. The condo unit has a beautiful location on the shoreline with well-groomed grounds and wonderful sunset views. It is an easy drive to some of the best beaches for snorkeling, body surfing, & relaxing. The location is a short distance off Kihei Road, so it is quiet and peaceful. Our condo was clean, with a well-equipped kitchen & 2 AC units (bedroom & living room) that could be run separately from one another. Parking is a bit tight, but doable. The management company was communicative and responded quickly to our concerns about a non-working garbage disposal. The Punahoa manager was friendly, and even shared his lumpia with us on the patio one evening. Yes, we would definitely stay here again if we return to Maui.

Amazing beachfront view and access!

The condo was well equipped and clean. We were very comfortable. You cannot beat having coffee on the patio as you watch the morning waves crash. Absolutely would stay here again.

Amazing views

We had a great time at this spot for our week long honeymoon. The views for our nightly sunset were always included and always amazing. We saw whales, turtles, and seals all from the small beach in front of us. The unit is stocked with everything that you’d need and is close to shopping. We would absolutely love to return and stay here again!

True Oceanfront

Beautiful place on the water, easy parking off the main drag of Kihei Road. Whale watching on your ocean view lanai and every evening it’s the perfect place to catch the sunset.

Great location and amazing view

We booked this condo for its location and view and they did not disappoint! We loved it. The condo is comfortable with all amenities you might need. We knew from the other reviews that the furniture is dated, so it was not a surprise. The couch in the living room need to be replaced and the cabinets in the kitchen fixed. It also would be nice to have more shampoo and conditioner (sample size only was provided), some oil and at least start up coffee pods for the first morning after your arrival. Other than that our stay was wonderful. It's a lovely small condo building right on the snorkeling beach and few steps from sandy beach. We enjoyed watching turtles, whales and surfers from the balcony. The location is very central for Kihei. Loved our stay and would recommend it.

PERFECT BEAUTIFUL LOCATION

We enjoyed this condo and its beautiful view of the ocean and stunning sunsets! Coffee in the morning on the lanai and a glass of wine in the evening was amazing! Very private and quiet location. The condo was spacious for the 2 of us and the king bed was so comfortable! We were able to walk to beaches, restaurants and Three’s for appetizers! Overall everything we were looking for!

Maui vacation

Above all, great view! Had everything we needed and the property manager was very communicative ahead of our stay. Area definitely is fun and we enjoyed the local restaurants nearby, but not quite as nice as further south in Kihei and especially Wailea. Great time though!

Amazing rental!

I’ve stayed at other rentals on the same street on previous trips to Maui and this one is by far my favorite. The property has amazing views and right on the water. Everything was clean and they provided beach chairs and umbrellas. You can snorkel right on the beach in front of the property and the Charlie young beach is only a 2 min walk from here and area is great for beginner surfers. Every amenities you can think of is also a 5 min walk away. Would definitely book this place again. The property management has great communication and we had no problems during our stay at all. If these condos offered other units with more bedrooms, I definitely recommend for a family. We stayed in one of their one bedroom condos.
