Great home base

This was a great home for our family. The loft area was an amazing extra space, giving our kids space to spread out. Home was clean and exactly as pictured. The location to the beach was very convenient, and the beach chairs and boogie boards were an added bonus! I will say that some of the kitchen utensils and cookware could stand to be replaced, and the bathroom hand soap was watered down. I would not hesitate to book this property again!

Maui family holiday

Fabulous location. Beautiful sunset views. This condo was well equipped with beach chairs, boogie boards, snorkel gear, fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, plenty of towels. There was ample parking. The AC throughout the condo was perfect.The pools were lovely. You are right across from the beach! Communication with Matt was easy. He answered all our questions quickly and efficiently. 10/10 would absolutely stay here again!

Spectacular condo w/ nice view and AC throughout

We have been staying at Hale Kamaole for the past 30 plus years in different units. We really enjoyed this condo as it had air conditioning throughout, a great view with a high top table so you could look over the railing (versus through the glass). The photos show carpet in the living room and bedroom upstairs but it had been upgraded to hardwood flooring (we almost didn't rent it due to carpet) so this was a nice surprise. The only thing I would change is perhaps updating the appliances eventually but they worked fine and the upstairs shower temperature was not adjustable so that needs to be fixed for future guests as the water was too hot for my child. Overall, wonderful condo and we love this property! We would stay here again.

Great Getaway!

Loved the property, views and space was perfect. Long term residents who loved in units long term all very nice while at the BBQ area. Lighting and sitting area near BBQ needs help but we heard it was being worked on from other residents. Would be amazing if they added a jacuzzi but other than that it was a great getaway….Aloha from Kauai.

Great time!

This condo was exactly as advertised. Was clean and comfortable. AC was very nice. The beach umbrella is broken is the only thing that wasn’t perfect for our family stay.

Wonderful stay

We had a great vacation, staying 12 nights in the condo. The unit was in good repair and very clean upon check in. From a package of starter coffee and filters to a closet full of beach chairs, snorkels and sand toys, it was clear that the guest experience had been considered. The kitchen was very well stocked with baking trays, cooking utensils & cutting boards and included basics like oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, condiments etc. that were appreciated. There was air conditioning and ceiling fans in the main living area and sleeping areas (including the loft), which made the unit very comfortable. It was nice to have king beds in both bedrooms. The condo grounds were beautiful and both pools had ample lounge chairs. It felt like a little bit of a hike to get to the nearest pool as the unit is on the 3rd floor and located in the middle of the large building but we got used to it quickly. It was a short walk to Kamaole 3 beach and a quick drive south to other great beaches like Keawakapu and Ulua. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Family Getaway

Our family of six loved our stay at Hale Kamaole! It was an extremely easy check in after our late arrival and the soft beds were very inviting after a long travel day! We utilized the bbq numerous times and the kitchen was stocked with all the basic pantry items. We used all the beach items daily as we explored a new beach every day. Perfect location and we would definitely stay here again! Mahalo for an unforgettable family vacation.

A great place

Excellent variety of beach gear and chairs. Kitchen is nicely designed and well stocked (dishes, cookware, etc) with lots of condiments and spices. BBQ out by pool was clean and well maintained. Grounds of the complex are beautiful and well maintained. Pool is small. It is clean and warm. Right across the street from Kamaole Beach park III. Overall an outstanding condo. Highly recommend.

As advertised -

Really enjoyed this unit. Clean. Functional. Comfortable. Well appointed. It worked very well for 5 adults. We ate in most nights and the combo kitchen/BBQ worked well. The only slight knock, we ended up spending a lot of time in the car as we travelled to visit the Road to Hanna, Haleakala Volcano, Laina, and Paia.

We really enjoyed out stay at the Hale Kamole. Lots of families and right near several beautiful beaches and walking distance to restaurants and shops. The grounds we beautiful and the pools were nice for the baby.

Winter Kihei Getaway

We just returned from a 10 day stay, this unit was a great find for 3 couples. Even though it's only a two bedroom, the loft area with queen size bed worked great as a 3rd bedroom for us. It's not completely private, so you have to work out some details as far as sharing bathrooms, etc. but the unit is very spacious. (The upstairs bathroom is only accessible through the bedroom.) We were there for the recent big storm and were perfectly comfortable (and dry) in the condo. We watched the sunset from the balcony several nights, you can see the ocean and the pool. The kitchen was well stocked and the closet on the lanai had all kinds of beach chairs, boogie boards, sand buckets, a beach umbrella, etc. There were 6 beach towels to use too. The only drawbacks were that despite two window air conditioners, multiple ceiling fans, nice blinds and a box fan, it was hard to keep the whole unit cool. (The 2 bedrooms stayed cool.) Also, the living room TV is really small for the size of the space. Parking was always available, and this unit is closest to the elevator, so even though it's on the 3rd floor it was easy to access. The beach straight across the street has great snorkeling, we saw turtles by the rock outcroppings every day!

Great location in Kihei!

The place was big enough for the 6 of us with 2 king beds and 1 queen bed. Location could not be beat! 5 min drive to Wailea and all the resorts to the south and 5 minute drive to all of Kihei’s wonderful restaurants and shopping to the north! It’s situated across the road from Kamaole III Beach which is known for its snorkeling and beautiful sunsets! Everything you need is provided. Plenty of beach chairs, umbrella, tote bags, all kitchen supplies, essential condiments and bathroom necessities! Condo is showing some signs of aging and some things were in disrepair but the property manager was VERY responsive and took care of everything immediately so we were not inconvenienced at all. Would definitely recommend a stay here if you’re traveling to beautiful Maui!

Family Vacation

We enjoyed our stay here at Hale-Kamaole! The location was great, right across the street from the beach and walkable to many restaurants and activities. The unit itself was nice and clean, although could use a few updates (new coffee pot and carpet come to mind). The management was easy to work with and responsive, and the unit was stocked with everything we needed including beach towels, cooler, and chairs. We would stay again.

Good condo for 4-5 people

This condo was wonderful for 5 of us. The kitchen could be better stocked. The main floor bed is very uncomfortable but the upstairs master bed is very very good. This condo does need a bit of TLC. Great location on the island and easy check in and check out. Management staff was wonderful!
