The condo was close to the beach and restaurants, kitchen was equipped with everything you needed to prepare a mealFor the family. One thing we didn’t like was the bathroom, outdated and dirty, was afraid to stepIn the bathtub without my flip flops.

Hard to communicate with

In general we liked the property. Having a toddler on vacation is difficult especially in the mornings. Some of the included features of our stay were not working and took 5 days to fix.

Modest Unit with the necessities

Great, safe location, and I would definitely return. The unit probably needs a little updating, but we had what we needed. The cleaning staff needs to focus on details a little more.

Location & communications were great; property needs maintenance.

Just returned from a 3 week vacation in Maui. We stayed in Kihei, Hana, Maalaea and Kaanapali. Because of the length of stay and holiday season we couldn't get accomodated in one place. On hind site, this let us experience and enjoy different parts of Maui. Stayed in the 2b/2b home, hosted by George from Dec 22- Dec 25. 5 stars for home location and communication with George. 3 stars for the home itself. The second floor bedroom gets super hot and there is no AC upstairs. The small AC in the main area does help with the cooling upstairs. There is a cooler for the upstairs bedroom and when that didn't work for us, we were promptly and respectfully told that the cooler weather in Dec should keep the house cool. No effort was taken to fix the cooler. We ended up using the pull out couch for my teen boys, which was not comfortable. (We booked because of the 2nd bedroom and additional beds for my teens). Another issue that the house has is a roach / pest problem. Lots of roaches, sugar ants running around. Under the sink, in the pantry and inside the cupboards etc. I brought it to George's attention and was requested to spray inside the pantry that I hesitated because of the food. We stayed 3 nights here but was glad that we moved to Maalaea area for all water activities, turtle beach, comfort and peace and liked Maalaea which is equally convenient. On the positive side, George sends lots of info and is prompt when communicating. Thank You!!! Location in good. Critical feedback, home needs maintenance. Also doesn't not have any views and was the farthest to the beach amongst the other places we stayed. Overall, good home when issues are fixed (upstairs room, cooler, pest and roaches etc) but we will not be returning. Thank you for hosting us and sharing your home with us. #grateful, #thankful

Just what we needed!

When I booked the place back in Feb for Dec, George stayed in contact with a a little message and pic of Maui every few months. Communication with George was great. George’s place is located right across the beach, in a quiet and tranquil area. Not to far from the action down the street. It has pretty much anything you need in the kitchen and for outdoors - cooler, ice packs, beach toys, plenty of good beach towels! Even had games/puzzles/movies for rainy days which we took advantage of during our stay. Definitely would stay here again. Mahalo!

Really enjoyed staying at this property. It was the perfect size for our family. A little back from the main street which was great for us (quiet). We walked into town for a great breakfast. Only stayed one night this time due to other plans but we hope to be back and stay for longer.

Clean, great location, and responsive owner.

Great condo in a great location, and this place was fully furnished with so many extras. Owner was easy to communicate with, very responsive and checked in with us several times to confirm things were going well. I would definately stay here again.

Great property, convenient location

We enjoyed our stay at Maui Vista. George kept in contact with us throughout the while process. Condo had what we needed including a pack 'n play and booster for our 14 month old. Worked out well for me, my husband, our daughter and my parents.

Awesome time in Kihei

We really had a awesome time in Kihei. The apartment was big enough for us 6. 3 people upstairs in the loft with extra bath (wonderful), 1 at the couch in the living room and 2 in the bedroom. We had everything we need to cook and nice things for the beach. The location is really good for everything: sightseeing, shopping and beach. The check in/out was really easy and to communicate with George was easy and nice, too. .We definitive can recommend this apartment. Thank you George! Monika and family

Lovely Maui vacation with family

We spent a lovely 2 week vacation in this unit. It is in a lovely location with lovely amenities. Right across from the beach. This unit was perfect for our family travelling with 2 children ages 4 and 9. I would highly recommend this unit. This was our 2nd stay at this unit and are already planning a 3rd stay. Our host, George, is very welcoming and is in constant communication. Great host!

Excellence location

This property is everything you are looking for in Kihei. 5 minutes walk to the beaches, restaurants and shopping. We rented the car only 3 days to go from Airport to the condo, road to Hana and check out Lahaina area for shopping and the banyans tree park. We walked every where for the rest of 5 days left. Charles young beach has so much to offer. Snorkeling, boogie board, swimming and seeing turtles. We had a blast staying at George’s condo. Will definitely staying here again if come back to Mauii. George is so great on communication and making sure we have everything we needed. Thank you George.

Wonderful stay in Kihei

George was a fabulous host staying in constant contact and always available for questions and tips. Close to beaches, restaurants and shops. The condo was great- beds are comfortable and kitchen well stocked. We used the boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrellas and cooler for beach day! Everything you need is here!!! Thank you George!!!

Wonderful Condo and Experience!

This was such a great place to stay! The condo had everything we needed (and more). Loved the location…it felt like our own private beach. George was an amazing host providing lots of communication. He made the whole experience awesome and our family truly had an awesome trip to Maui!

Great value

Cozy condo that is a 3 minute walk to a beautiful beach. Beds are all comfy and there is A/C in every room. George is a fabulous host- the condo is fully stocked with everything you need to cook and also all your beach supplies. The umbrella was particularly welcome! Restaurants and shops are an easy 5-10 minute walk. Absolutely recommend staying here- you won't be disappointed

The absolute best

George can put on a master class on how to host a rental. I have never stayed with a more organized, communicative, and thoughtful host. The unit itself is awesome, it has all items you would expect a rental unit to have and a ton more. Everything is labeled, which made my OCD wife very happy. I could not recommend George and his condo more.
