  • One-bedroom garden view condo located on the second floor. This unit sleeps up to four people with a queen bed in the bedroom and a pull-out sofa bed in the living room. There are many tropical accents and upgrades throughout this unit. Enjoy the full kitchen which opens up to the living and dining areas. The living room features tropical decor as well as a flat-screen TV with a Blu-ray player. This unit offers free wireless internet connection. The common areas have new tile floors. The bedroom features new furniture, linens and a flat-screen TV with a Blu-ray player. The bathroom has been renovated with a new large walk-in tile shower, toilet, vanity and an array of accents. Relax on the lanai and feel at home in this unit.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place was just okay. The AC unit in the bedroom is so worn out and loud it made it impossible to sleep if you had it on . The bed is very soft I prefer a firmer bed so basically had 11 nights of very little sleep . Cleaning was not great don’t look under the bed it disgusting. Once your out of the bedroom the unit is pretty good..

A great stay - Maui Vista 1220 - December 2022

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Maui Vista 1220 was a wonderful place for our vacation December 2022. It is located on the north side of the building, and we were pleased as it did not get so hot for us as on the south or west sides. We only used the a/c when we were cooking a turkey on Christmas Day. There were many wonderful appliances to use - instant pot, panini press to name a couple.Full sized stove and well appointed kitchen, newly renovated. Comfortable bed and pillows were a plus.(I am picky about pillows - but loved these ones) Great, central location for what we plan to do in Kihei....beaches close, shopping and amenities are close by - within walking distance if you are in to that. When we return to Maui, we would plan to stay in this unit again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is not a bad condo and in a great location. The grounds at Maui Vista are kept very clean and groomed. The condo we stayed in needs attention. The bed was comfortable enough to not have you waking up sore but not the most comfortable bed I have been in. It is equipped with the basics in the kitchen and a Keurig, I enjoyed my morning coffee on the Lanai. Ok now the rest. This condo is in need of a very deep clean, the swifter will not cut it anymore! There was a ton of hair built up in the shower drain, and grime everywhere(I have pictures for whoever wants them.). The mattress on the sleeper sofa needed to be replaced years ago and the mattress pad was shredded. We went to WalMart and bough our boys air mattresses to sleep on it was so bad. Like I said this unit is in a good location but it has been a while since somebody really gave it the attention it needs.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was an okay place. At first, we thought it was a nice spot due to placement and the amenities we would have. Our first night there, I found a huge cockroach in the bathroom. There are multiple roach traps around the apartment but even then we continued to find baby and medium size roaches from time to time. I wouldn’t go as far as calling it an infestation, but definitely more roaches than there should be in a small apartment even with the humidity and nature of the area.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Family vacation with a 7 month old. Room was newly renovated and very nice. The property is close to several amenities within walking distance. The beach is across the road with snorkelling and swimming. The on-site pools are cold and not designed for children, especially babies. There also wasn’t a bath tub to bathe the baby. Shower only. Information supplied by email for check in was incorrect and had the wrong information. This caused issues for us but we made it through.

Well-equipped, great location

Maui Vista 1220 has everything you'd need for your vacation. Well-equipped and a very short walk to the beach, and close to restaurants and shops. The complex is well-maintained. This unit is located above the office area as well as overlooking a parking area, so it's not always super quiet, if that's what you're looking for. Overall, we were pleased with our stay here!

September 2021 Stay

Cute, updated condo with everything 2 or 4 people could want. The only reason it didn't get a 5 was because it doesn't have a beach view. But for the price and only 250 steps to the beach, it is a great value.

Small but great location in Kihei

Great location in Kihei. Check in was easy and security was very friendly. We were thankful for air conditioning in the bedroom and in the living room. There were beach chairs, an umbrella, snorkeling gear and an ice chest in the closet that we used. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. The bathroom and kitchen had been remodeled and were very nice. Washer and dryer are small and older but we liked having them to clean towels. I would recommend only two guests stay at this property because it is very small. We are a family of 4 and our kids slept on the pull out couch bed. It had a very uncomfortable mattress. The bedroom mattress and everything else was great.

February 2019 Stay

Unit #1220 is in the ideal location! Closest bldg to street and closest unit to elevator ect. Love it. I do have some suggestions which I feel would heighten return guests to this unit. 2.5 rolls of toilet paper is not sufficient. cleaning supplies such as a rag or 2 would allow guests to clean a toliet or wipe a mirror! I can't do either and it's needed. This unit sleeps 4 but only has 2 lawn chairs. If the chairs were back pack style or in a bag with handle it would make carrying them MUCH more user friendly! Unfortunately there is no Beach Umbrella. A stove (coil) burner is very bent so it is dangerous. There are no plastic containers for food storage that have lids... we had to pack beach lunches in tin foil. 2 little hotel bars of soap is insufficient! Last but not least, the place could use a thorough clean! The front of the white fridge could use a good scrub... its grime is dug in, there's a glass walled shelf in bathroom which is beautiful but it appears to not have been dusted in months.TLC needed

Great location!

This condo is in a great location within walking distance to the beach, places to eat, and a grocery store! Located about 30 minutes from the airport. The condo itself meets all your essential needs. Decor is a bit cheesy, but it certainly made us feel that we were welcome in Hawaii! It didn't bother us at all, but there is no air conditioner in the bedroom, only the living room. The balcony is lovely and gives a private area to relax outside and feel the island breeze.

Comfy, casual, 1 bedroom condo

While this condo did not have the latest, greatest, new appliances and fixtures, it is perfect for casual travellers like ourselves. The owners had personal touches that you would need in real life like beach towels in case you forgot to pack one, Tupperware storage containers for leftovers, condiments, movies, CD's, etc (all the little things mom would have on hand). If you are missing something you are spending too much time inside.

Maui Vista is a very nice resort. Our unit #1220 had everything we needed.

The property is well located across from beaches, and central to shopping and several restaurants within walking distance or a very short drive. It was clean and comfortable and we felt welcome there. We had a great trip.
