    Large private condominium apartment at the resort condominium complex on the beach in sunny Kihei, Maui, Hawaii. 1 bedroom with private attached bathroom. 2nd bathroom down the hall with shower, large living area, dining area, kitchen with breakfast bar. PLUS, large private view deck looking out towards ocean. Beach chairs, pool/beach towels, full size appliances including air conditioning and washer dryer. Really, just hit the grocery store and you are set for the week!

    General Info:
    The Maui Sunset is located on over 5 acres of oceanfront at Kihei which is considered one of the best locations on the Valley Isle. Kihei is noted for its year-round sunshine, balmy trade winds, and soothing evening air. It is one of the driest and sunniest areas on the entire island, averaging only 10 inches a year! World famous swimming and snorkeling beaches are minutes away at one of the many sandy safe beaches at Kihei and nearby Wailea. Just a short distance (6 miles) from five championship 18-hole resort golf courses at Wailea and Makena. The two buildings frame and protect a large recreational area that is carefully attended and landscaped. The 60-foot swimming pool with its broad decks and abundance of pool furniture invites you to improve on your tan.

Great for large group and/or family

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had 6 people in our party and needed two condos close to each other. We found two units in the same building here and it was fantastic. We had 3 teenagers, and my mother in law, and my husband and I. There were plenty of places to sleep, so all the kids had their own space. The pool and spa were great and the beach is right there- we walked on the beach every morning. This is not the "glitzy" area of Maui. Kihei is a great location though, because you are close to any of the beaches, close to the airport, shopping etc. Both units we rented had all the supplies you could possibly need - beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels and mats, pool toys, snorkeling equipment, boogie boards... you name it! I wasn't sure when booking this because it wasn't around any fancy resorts, but we had the most amazing time ever!!

We all love coming back and are booked again for next year. The apartments are well equipped, the grounds are immaculate and the staff helpful. Very good location for access to all of Maui.

Every night we walked to the beach and joined the gathered folks in seeing the sun set into the ocean. The unit we had offered a great view, a comfortable living space, and a easy-use kitchen. It was nice to have the washer/dryer, as well. The only drawback for us was a spotty internet.

A great escape!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A great escape get away from the dark days of winter in Bellevue while staying in a lovely condo on the beach in Maui. What's not to love? The condo was clean and well appointed, relatively close to the airport and Costco, where we did most of our shopping. The evening sunsets were spectacular. A bonus of watching whales in the distance, kite surfers on windy late afternoons, playing on the beach, exploring tide pools, and miscellaneous other activities available for the choosing made the time fly by with never a boring moment. It was all great!

Stunning view lovely 1-QB, 1-Murphy foldown bed, 2 bath. There is two sides to this complex A&B recommend B side b/c it’s facing north and the balcony is in the shade. Six shared BBQ’s (very clean) all the tools , flippers etc in the unit and Costco/Safeway close by. Pool and beach 3 mins away with towels and beach chairs in the unit. Washer/Dryer included* (bring some pods from home). A++
