  • Watch the life of Maui unfold from the morning till evening from your private 114 sq foot private view deck. Premium condo suite located near the pool area on the second floor.

    Second floor means easy access to tropical gardens and the ocean beyond. Quiet location features large private view deck and renovated interior. Doesn't get any better.

    Large private condominium apartment at the resort condominium complex on the beach in sunny Kihei, Maui, Hawaii. 1 bedroom with private attached bathroom. 2nd bathroom down the hall with shower, large living area, dining area, kitchen with breakfast bar. PLUS, large private view deck looking out towards ocean. Beach chairs, pool towels, full size appliances including air conditioning and washer dryer.
    Really, just hit the grocery store and you are set for the week!

    General Info:
    The Maui Sunset is located on over 5 acres of oceanfront at Kihei which is considered one of the best locations on the Valley Isle. Kihei is noted for its year-round sunshine, balmy trade winds, and soothing evening air. It is one of the driest and sunniest areas on the entire island, averaging only 10 inches a year! World famous swimming and snorkeling beaches are minutes away at one of the many sandy safe beaches at Kihei and nearby Wailea. Just a short distance (6 miles) from five championship 18-hole resort golf courses at Wailea and Makena. The two buildings frame and protect a large recreational area that is carefully attended and landscaped. The 60-foot swimming pool with its broad decks and abundance of pool furniture invites you to improve on your tan.

Awesome place to stay on Maui

First Time in Kihei

This was our families first time in Kihei and we didn’t know what to expect. This VRBO truly exceeded our expectations. The location is hard to beat. The patio gets sunshine throughout the day and you can walk to the beach to see the sunset in 2 minutes. Everything was extremely well kept including public green spaces, BBQs, pool and hot tub. Ample parking as well. The unit itself was great as advertised. 2 washrooms including one with a bathtub was nice for our 1 year old. There is a second A/C unit in the bedroom which makes it perfect for sleeping, while the rest of the unit ran a bit warm during the day. Property managers were also very communicative throughout the booking and during the stay when questions arose or when the water was temporarily shut off. Definitely would stay again!

Kitchen was supplied well, Things were in order and it was and is like walking into your own place, except you are on vacation. I would recommend Maui Sunset to anyone wanting a great, reasonable place to stay. Sleeps up to five with two bathrooms. Can’t be beat.

Our apartment was a little outdated and in need of an upgrade, but it was spacious and clean and just perfect for our family of 5. Our apartment overlooked the pool, and courtyard where there was live music on Wednesday night. You could also see the beach in the distance for good sunsets.

Maui Sunset Spectacular

We loved the location as it was not as congested with tourists, very close to things like the airport, shopping, marina etc. Short drives to all the tourist things and remote enough to not feel crowded. We could watch the whales breaching right from our shoreline and sunsets were incredible even from our deck. The place was quiet, clean, remodeled and felt like home. We loved it so much we are contemplating purchasing a condo so we have year round access.
