The property is great (pool area, walk to beach, etc.), and the unit was tidy and well-stocked with bear gear, towels, pack and play, etc. Communication with the host was also prompt and helpful!

The hottubs didn't work. Their was construction going on that bloked the parking spot and had to walk around to get to the beach. The beach was nice and close had sea turtles.

Love Kihei

Kam lll Beach has a large lovely grassy field where we watched the sun set into Lanai and the ocean each evening. The beach chairs (supplied in the condo) made the picnics oh-so-pleasant. It was a long walk through the Kamaola Sands condo to the beach street. The gorgeous view of the ocean made the walk worth it. The view from the condo is a condo view. The condo was well- equipped and a good sized for 6 people. Communication and assistance was prompt and effective. We had a wonderful one week vacation — reunion of sibling and their partners — with home cooked and BBQ (in the condo complex) meals. The snorkeling is the surrounding areas is soe of the best in Hawaii — not to be missed!We had a wonderful time!

Beach Across the Street

Conveniently located across the street from a very nice beach park with a great sunset view. Pool was nice and the kids liked it. Condo was as described in the listing. Check in was through a door code but had to check in with the community at the front desk and pay a 42 fee to them for use of the property. We enjoyed our stay and property was nice. Would stay again.

Spacious 3 BDRM condo close to ocean and amenities

We had one couple and 2 singles traveling and felt the condo provided excellent space and privacy as well as amenities. We particularly enjoyed taking the provided beach chairs to the ocean across the street. The good size dining table and convenience of a washer and dryer were appreciated !

Needs some upgrades

We love Kamaole Sands condos. This particular unit was one of two units we booked for 3 nights. This unit needed some upgrades and maintenance. Specifically, the air conditioning unit was overheating on the lanai making it impossible to be out on the lanai and to have inconsistent cooling during our stay. The WiFI was very spotty and again inconsistent. Additionally, there was a very strong musty smell and the mattress in the non-primary bedrooms were very old and needed replacing. Overall, the unit was very run down compared to the other unit we had rented. We reached out to the management company on Day 2 and never heard back, even 2 weeks later. Very disappointing experience with this VRBO.

Spacious Kihei condo

Our family had a great visit & we all fit comfortably within the condo (7 adults). Kitchen was stocked with all items needed to cook full meals. Bathrooms had a good layout & there were enough bathroom towels for everyone. A/C in every room which is a must for those of us coming from colder climates. Nice set of beach supplies provided. A lovely lanai for coffee/breakfast in the am & a chill evening. Large washer/dryer was used daily & also a must for longer stays such as ours. Pool & indoor gym were always clean. Easy & fast communication with the vacation Rental team. Highly recommend to anyone looking to have a spacious, comfortable & conveniently located condo for their vacation.

Nice size unit, nice furniture, lots of space, easy walk to the beach. I found the deck area noisy because of traffic on street it is over and I felt like it could have had more utensils as we were constantly running out of forks. But overall we had a great stay.

Every thing was good. We did have to get the ac fixed . Shelf by the stove missing a pin won’t hold things. Freezer is leaking into the fridge area. We had a great time super happy with the condo.

Property was amazing, Condo itself needed some more amenities

Property was amazing, condo itself could use some amenities. IE we had to buy cloth hangers and tea towels, there was also no mop or anything to clean floors, and first time we have had a condo with no boogie board. We stayed there just short of 3 weeks. Condo is quiet and great location. Property management was easy and very efficient to deal with.

Clean, quiet, convenient

The condo is nice and big, and clean and convenient, in a quiet corner of the property. The two reserved parking spaces are right next to the elevator. Kihei is a great neighborhood, near beautiful beaches with lots of places to eat and shop.

Great location and clean

This place fit our needs for what we wanted to do in Maui as it was centrally located. Close to the airport, to the aquarium and harbor, to restaurants, the beach, grocery stores... Place was clean and well furnished with enough plates, utensils, cookware, glasses, mugs for our group(6 adults, 1 child). The unit is part of a big complex of rentals and this unit has a partial view of the ocean. Beach is just across the street. Communication with property manager was excellent and tended to our needs promptly especially after the first day where we had a problem with the upstairs shower. Taken care of right away. Just a little confusing to operate the remotes for the tv and the fans but other than that nothing major. I would recommend staying here as it is close to everything.

Great Location and Space for Families

This condo was in an excellent location. Was right across the street from the beach and walkable to many restaurants and shops. The dedicated parking spaces were very convenient. The condo was also in nice condition, and plenty of space for 5 adults and 2 small children. Was a great stay for our family trip.

Great condo to enjoy Maui

We loved the space in the condo, air conditioning, beach supplies, location in Kihei, beautiful grounds and pool of Kamaole sands, and ease of communication with the host. Great for our family- four adults (2 parents, 2 grandparents) and two kids (3 yr old, 3 mo old). There were three pack and plays in the unit including an infant sleeper attachment! Only downside is that the lanai gets full blast of the air con venting, so when AC is on, the lanai is very hot. We managed by opening front door and lanai door for a breeze during the day instead of using AC.

Great unit, great location

We picked this complex because other friends of ours were already staying there and decided it would be nice. Our unit was big and spacious, and perfect for our group of 6. The complex is nice, although we really didn't use any of the amenities except the BBQ once. The location is great, and we walked to the beach every day. Decor was simple and nice. My only issue was that there were two broken knobs on the dresser in the Master, and every time I walked by, it caught on my clothes and ripped one of my skirts. It's an easy fix that I hope they make. Also wish there was more hot water. With 6 people coming off the beach, we ran out of hot water quickly. But we'd come again, the unit is lovely.

Perfect trip for my 4 kids, myself and my parents. The location was great. Beach across the street has a swing set and is lovely. The pool area is perfect for small children. It is very family friendly. Easy access to the Maui attractions we wanted to see. I already am hoping to plan a return trip.

Beautiful place to spend our week in Maui

Family of eight had a great time in the lovely comfortable condo. Took awhile for the unit to cool down after arrival (there was a mixup and someone was supposed to have turned the ac on before we arrived but didn’t) once it did cool down it was fine Beds and the sofa were comfy. Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare a couple of breakfasts. The umbrella and chairs came in handy on the beach.

Our stay in the Maui 3 bedroom 3 bath condo was truly remarkable! One of the highlights was the incredibly comfortable beds. After a long day of exploring the island, sinking into those cozy mattresses felt like pure bliss. The condo management deserves special praise for their prompt and efficient service. When we encountered a minor issue with one of the bathrooms, they were quick to address it and resolve the problem, ensuring our stay remained hassle-free. The condo itself was spacious and tastefully decorated, creating a warm and inviting ambiance. We appreciated the well-equipped kitchen, which allowed us to prepare our own meals when we didn't feel like dining out. Additionally, the proximity to the beach was a major advantage. Being able to walk to the beach and enjoy the stunning coastline at our leisure was a real treat. Overall, our stay in the condo exceeded our expectations. The comfortable beds, attentive management, and convenient location made it a truly unforgettable experience. We would highly recommend this condo to anyone visiting Maui.

Good Value

We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return. The description of the property was accurate. As many have mentioned, the location is ideal. Being across the street from the beach and playground was great for the child in our group. We could also walk to restaurants. Coconuts was our favorite! The unit is not on the complex's main green space which made it quieter especially in the evening. The kitchen was well-equipped with plenty of glasses and dishes for our party of six. We did not run out of hot water unless we took six showers in a row. We were able to keep the unit comfortable with the fans and the front door open. Yes, the loft bedroom is warmer but could be cooled down at night. The communication with the management was excellent. They responded within hours to a minor maintenance issue and were accommodating to our needs. There were clear directions on how to work the fans, lights, TV, etc. Nothing beats coffee on the balcony in the morning with a view of the mountains and a peak at the water!
