  • This beachfront one-bedroom / one-bath condo in North Kihei, Maui offers a serene and beautiful retreat on Sugar Beach. The unit features quality finishes such as granite countertops, tile flooring, and lovely furniture. Central A/C, a spacious bedroom with a king bed, and a large flat-screen TV ensure comfort and relaxation. The full kitchen allows for meal preparation, and the large lanai provides exceptional views of the surroundings.

    Guests can enjoy whale watching in the winter and the sight of outriggers launching from the nearby canoe club year-round. Guests can also partake in unique experiences such as watching the Kihei Canoe Club's practices or races. The Kihei Canoe Club is next door to the resort. Watching the canoes during practices or races is a cool diversion most other resorts can’t offer. On Tuesdays & Thursdays, they offer visitors an opportunity to paddle out with them ($40 donation) so worth it!

    The resort itself offers a low-key, authentic experience with convenient amenities including coin-operated laundries. Centrally located in North Kihei, it provides easy access to various attractions and adventures on the island.

    Whether strolling along the white-sand shoreline or relaxing by the pool, guests can savor the beauty of tropical sunrises, sunsets, and starry nights. Nearby local treasures and activities add to the charm of this delightful retreat.

Loved having the ocean so close! Watched the sunset from our balcony every night. Beautiful, comfy condo! Maintenance came quickly to switch out blinking kitchen fluorescent. Very nice and helpful staff. Amenities were great. One suggestion we have might be to improve the electrical outlet capacity in the master BR. We each had our own phones and tablets, and one CPAP machine, along with the two bedside lamps, but there is only a single outlet and an old extension chord with bent leads that kept popping out. But everything else was great.

Wonderful beachfront comfort, crashing waves, gorgeous views

My daughter and her 6 month old visited me during my stay, it couldn't have been a cleaner, better spot for easy poolside chats, quiet baby naps and little errands across the road at ABC, Sugar Beach Bake Shop and the farmer's market. Sunrise and sunset beach walks for Grandma too--perfect!!

The property was as advertised! We loved the location and sitting on the balcony overlooking the beach and water! The little market across the street was a bonus. Quiet and Peaceful

Great condo literally right on the beach. Very quiet and lowkey which we loved and right across the street from a corner store and local farmer’s market. No more than 15-30 min max away from all the big must sees on the island. Only complaint is (and maybe I read the info wrong) the laundry unit is community and on a separate floor of the unit- not inside your condo. Overall- we’d stay again!

After a busy day, it was great to be able to relax on the balcony -- watch the sunset and listen to the waves. Also nice to have the small pool available. We appreciated the setup inside the condo as well with the stocked kitchen and the arrangement of living room and bedroom.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location, spacious, easy access, beachfront with amazing views and nice in unit amenities. The bed was comfy, but there was no lock in the bedroom window that anyone could access from the outside. I let the contact person know, and after 2 nights someone came while I was out and put a small piece of wood in the windowsill. I do think this needs to be addressed further, as there were some questionable people around the area and it didn't feel safe as a single traveler. The unit did have some visible water damage and a mildewy smell, but it wasn't terrible. The laundry room upstairs needs a serious update. I would revisit if the lock situation were properly addressed.

There was soft hawaiian music playing on the TV and the view of the ocean from the living space and the lanai are amazing. It was equipped beyond our expections as well and neat and clean. It was a lovely beachfront place to stay on the quieter side of town and a wonderful bakery and shave ice right across the street. No complaints, extremely happy with our stay. Will return as soon as we can!

Unpleasant Surprise with Stove/Oven and EV

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Oven/Stove did not work correctly. Intermittent problems with burners and heat. Not possible to cook a meal. TV cable had intermittent issues as well. We were advised to "jiggle the wires behind the TV to get it to work. This was totally unsatisfactory. But, we were moved to another comparable unit and all was perfect. Would we recommend Unit 208? Emphatically not. It appeared the upkeep was lacking and there was very little attention to detail before renting the unit. Unit 503 (where we were moved to) was outstanding in every way. Wish we had known all this before booking. We very likely will not be back. So the first two days were dreadful. The second 8 days in a different unit were superb.
