    The kitchen and bathroom feature beautiful cabinets and striking granite and a large storage unit on the wall adjacent to the kitchen adding a large counter top for kitchen use. The tile floors begin at the entry and extend throughout the kitchen and bathroom. The bathroom is updated with a large tiled shower. The living room furniture has been upgraded in a tropical motif and includes a hide-a-bed. This unit is accessible by elevator or stairs, as it is located on the north side of the complex. Hale Kamaole is located in close proximity to several restaurants, shopping, The amenities include two pools, BBQ areas and tennis courts. No pets allowed on property.

Beautiful unit!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed larger kitchen , well equipped for cooking thanksgiving dinner. Super clean, good WiFi once we figured out. Great views and wonderful access to beach / snorkeling (lots of turtles )

Vacation marred by Poor Accommodations

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condo unit #216 is in serious need of rehab.1. Poor, old Matress sags, not at all firm, a backache special. 2.Poor quality bedroom curtains in poor shape, not darken bedroom.3. Difficult to access (over 1 hour). No combinations worked. We were finally issued a key.4.Flimsy, poor quality curtains in in main room. A lot of afternoon sun enters the room with curtains in closed position.5. Screen door not operational. Needed major repair. Had to call maintenance man.There were more deficiencies that I do not have time to enumerate. We had stayed at this property many times over the past 10 years and were fully satisfied. The property has gone down in quality over the past two years.

Probably one of the worst lodging experiences of my life.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Now before you read ahead the property was well maintained, clean and staff was friendly. The Condo it's self was great. Very clean, stocked and welcoming. However, the bad. What was supposed to be a relaxing trip turned into the opposite by a loud obnoxious family staying above our unit (216 ours) (316 theirs). Two or three adults and two boys around 11 or 12. Saw them when taking out the garbage. It was 8 days of stomping, scampering, loud things crashing to the floor, sliding door opening and closing non-stop. We would leave in the morning back from adventures, walked in and loud stomping that shook the unit. It sounded like demolition or renovation going on it was THAT bad. We left for the afternoon, came back to more stomping. We would regroup and head out of the rest of the day. Come back at 9pm and you guessed it, MORE STOMPING.. The only time it stopped was between 10pm-6:30pm when it would start all over again. I went upstairs to complain but they were so loud no one answered the door. Tried making a complaint at the office but I don't think that would of made a difference. Point being, if you're not used to apartment life with lots of noise around you this place isn't for you.

The condo was extremely well stocked inside and there was also a very good supply of things for the beach! We had an amazing time.

Best location in Kihei for a relaxing vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit had incredible views of the ocean and was a quick and easy 5 minute walk to a life-guarded beach(Kamaole III). The complex itself is very well kept and pleasant. We really enjoyed being away from the main part of town. The unit was very clean on arrival and the kitchen was well stocked for whatever we cooked or barbequed. There were lots of good bath towels, beach towels and kitchen towels as well as laundry and dishwasher soap. The beach cupboard was well equipped with skim boards, beach chairs, sand mat, snorkels/masks/flippers, beach toys etc. and a small and large cooler. What was missing was a decent beach umbrella. There were 2 umbrella bases but the top umbrella portions were missing. There was a smaller umbrella but it didn't screw into the sand so was pretty much useless. We ended up renting an umbrella at Scuba Shack for $12 for the week which was fine by us. Our only real complaint was about the bedroom: The bed was too soft. The fitted bed sheets were old and worn and the elastic in the corners was so stretched that it didn't hold the sheets securely around the mattress so the sheets would slip up while you were sleeping and get bunched up. The blinds were old and warped and didn't hang properly causing gaps where you could see outside through the slits (so people could see in as well). This also caused the outside lights to shine in at nighttime. There was a sheer curtain hung over the blinds but it didn't help with privacy or light control; it seemed to be for aesthetic purposes only. I found this situation in the bedroom uncomfortable so I ended up using the bathroom to change instead of the bedroom.

Reviewer Comments: 1)I had an issue with my rental car being hit while parked overnight. 2) The rental unit possibly above me had the broken AC unit running at all times. It would start for 15 seconds and shut down for 4 minutes and repeat, all day and all night. Every night I wore ear plugs but did not mention this because most units are privately owned which I new and was aware nothing could be done.

Wonderful location. Unit had good views from the balcony. Room was very clean and seemed nicer than the pictures. No assigned parking was a little bit of a pain but not too bad. Would stay here again!

Opened the door to a lovely condo. In the morning we met with the office staff and registered. Your Manager Nathan was very helpful since we first booked in 2019 and helped us with our extended stay. Overall a great welcome from the team! Our condo met all expectations, very clean, with a unit information guide, local suggestions and complete with a beautiful view. Excellent value and thank you to all at Hale Kamaole I would recommend this property!
