Family-Friendly Beach Retreat

Our family recently enjoyed a delightful stay at this immaculate condo, and we couldn't have been more pleased with our experience. From the moment we walked through the door, it was evident that cleanliness and attention to detail were top priorities for the owners. The condo is exceptionally well stocked, providing everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The kitchen was equipped with appliances, cookware, and utensils, making meal preparation a breeze. The modern washer/dryer were essential for our young family. It's evident that the owners have gone the extra mile to ensure guests feel right at home. One of the undeniable highlights of our stay was access to the beach, oceanfront views and the soothing sound of waves crashing in the background. Sunset on the lawn with other guests was a fun and enjoyable time each evening. While the lack of a heated pool was a minor drawback, especially for families with little kids, the overall experience more than compensated for this. The beauty of the beach and the access to shops made up for any inconvenience. It's worth noting that the property owner was responsive and accommodating, contributing to a hassle-free stay. We highly recommend this ocean oasis!

Awesome Kihei base of operations!

This was a perfect home base for our week in Maui. There was a nice beach in front of the property, so close that you can hear the waves at night. A nice grocery store, surprisingly good bakery, excellent seafood restaurant, and even snorkel rentals were a quick walk across the street. The whole vacation felt homey, unpretentious, and relaxing. A highlight was catching some fish, then grilling them and eating them at sunset on the balcony. We can’t wait to come back!

Very Relaxing

We had a great stay! The condo comes with everything you need and is just a short walk to the beach. My family enjoyed the pool and lawn for watching sunsets every evening. Lots of great places to eat just across the street. Cindy was very communicative and friendly. The condo has been recently been sold to new owners, Bev and Adam who were also very friendly and responsive. Next time we come back to Maui we’d stay here again.

Great Maui Vacation

This condo was amazing! It is situated very close to several restaurants and shops, and is also just a very short hike down to the beach. We were impressed with how well outfitted this condo was for everything that we needed. Definitely recommend staying here!

Our Maui Trip

We had a fabulous time here! The location was perfect! Just a stroll down to the beach and across the street are cute little shops and restaurants. The condo was just as described, beautiful and clean. Beach towels, chairs and boogie boards were there to use. Plenty of fans, there is no air conditioning in the units, and nice ocean breeze coming through. It was a pleasure conversing with Cindy prior to our trip. I would definitely stay there again! Amazing family vacation

Right from the start of the process Cindy was great…she answered all of our questions, and went above and beyond to provide us with information about the condo and Maui. The condo was in the best location right on the beach. Our 17, 13 and 11 year old girls enjoyed boodie boarding daily, shaved ice accross the street and homemade pina colads at the condo!! We toured around Maui to several locations and always felt like going “home” to the condo. For the last 2 nights of our trip we stayed in a very modern, big resort in Kaanapali, right on the beach, several pools…. and all 5 of us agreed we preferred Cindys small, friendly, condo in Kihiei. We can not wait to come back and were so sad to leave! Thankyou for sharing your special location with our family🌺🤙🏻

Affordable beachfront condo

This is an older building and not fancy, but the unit was clean, comfortable and the kitchen had a better selection of cookware and utensils than any condo I’ve stayed in to date. Unit does not have AC but louvered windows and ceiling fans kept us cool at night. The grills were in great condition and the pool temperature was perfect. The beach was good for body surfing and when the waves are calmer the rocks and reef offshore hold a fair amount and variety of fish for snorkelers to enjoy. Host provided a good selection of beach chairs, towels, coolers etc.

Reasonable cost for Priceless Memories

The location is ideal! I was traveling with my son, his wife and my 18mo. Grandson who still sleeps for long stretches during the day, so it was important to me to stay close by as many activities as possible. This building is directly across from great shopping, groceries, and restaurants. It’s ocean front and gives fantastic access not just to the beach but some really amazing snorkeling. And it is a short walk to a second beach. We used the pool lots, and the Barbecues overlooking the beach were fabulous. Clean and well maintained. The beach was perfect for young children gentle surf in the mornings that would pick up in the afternoons. The condo itself was fantastic. They had everything we needed, bleach chairs, towels, umbrella, and more, It was clean with an updated kitchen we made most of our meal at the condo. They had everything we needed including some condiments and spices. The lanai had a view of the ocean and we ate all our meals out there. It is on t he second floor which meant we were not elevator dependent, ideal for us. We stayed in July and it was hot frequently over 90°, there is no AC in most condos in the area including this one. They had lots of fans set up and with the breeze in the afternoons it was manageable. We got in very late on the first day and I had a few questions. I emailed Cindy to understand the lock system and she responded right away. The manager, and maintenance staff were all very helpful and friendly. The other guests/residents were great too, no one was disruptive. We built some strong family memories on this trip. I hope we will be staying here again.

Great Location

Cindy was very accommodating and easy to get a hold of when communicating about the property. My family loved being able to take just a short walk to the pool or beach - watching turtles swimming outside the grassy area at sunset was a nightly highlight. We especially liked having a well appointed kitchen to cook meals, as well as gear for the beach like towels, boogie boards and chairs. We can't wait to come back.

Wonderful View

Condo was in great location; wonderful view from the lanai. Grounds and pool very well taken care of. Condo beds comfortable; very nice place to stay. Plan to stay there again if go to Maui again.

Great stay and great host!

We love the Kamaole Nalu. It is a perfect location in Kihei with no road crossing to get to the beach! It is small and has a very friendly vibe. Access to restaurants and other amenities are right across the street. Views from the lanai are amazing and we saw turtles every day at the point in front of the condo. The pool and BBQ's are well kept. The condo itself was perfect for our family of 5. There were two bedrooms and a pullout. I have mobility issues and we had no problems with the elevator and access. Cindy was a fantastic host. Her communications were great and her recommendations list was just awesome. We feel like we know her even though we did not actually meet. We are already planning our next visit and we would love to stay here again. We may even look to buy our own condo at the Kamaole Nalu in the future.

Fantastic trip

Nice, clean, comfortable, awesome location, well-stocked kitchen. Beach was gorgeous. Added perk I could walk the 2.5 miles down the coastline each morning to attend my conference; what a great way to start the day! Had 3 boogie boards for my family to use and a variety of other beach gear. Would definitely consider staying here again

Plan to Return!

We had an amazing time at this property! It was perfect for us with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The kitchen had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The view from the lanai was AMAZING! We ate most of our meals out there. They also had beach chairs, boogie boards and an umbrella that we could use, making our beach time even better! We saw turtles right off the beach, were able to snorkel right from the beach as well and we even saw a few whales off in the distance. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance. My favorite was the fish tacos at Coconuts. They host was really great to work with as well! I would definitely recommend this place and hope to return!

Delightful accommodation on the ocean in the best part of Kihei

The hosts of this property are outstanding - we felt welcome and they were able to kindly accommodate our travel schedules. The condo is well equiped with everything we could have hoped for (beach chairs, umbrella, towels, etc.) Having each bedroom on opposite sides of the condo, with it's own bathroom was a pleasant suprise, affording peace and quiet. (I'm accustomed to hearing every little sound my kids make.) The location is amazing, you don't need a car rental for a weeklong stay here. (We used UBER for a few trips; far less costly than a rental for a week.) The snorkeling right out front was incredible - with turles and many of the fishes that we saw on the chartered snorkel tour we took. I'd highly recommend a weeklong rental of snorkel equipment from across the street. We used the BBQs a couple of times and enjoyed terrific restaurants, just steps away. The open air windows bring in a great breeze and some new noises, birds, roosters and traffic - when we return I will be sure to bring and use silicone earplugs for sleeping. The location and ammenities are incredible, well worth planning to manage a bit of noise. We enjoyed every meal on the deck and thoroughly enjoyed whale watching from the deck. What a show! (Polarized sunglasses are a must!) I highly recommend staying at this place and appreciated the terrific hosts - already looking forward to a return trip! Thank you again, Cindy & Ken!

We had a wonderful experience at this property. Owners were amazing to deal with. Everything you need is there. Location is perfect with beaches on each side of building, beautiful ocean views, great pool, and awesome shops and places to eat nearby. It was just perfect!

Wonderful Stay

This condo is located in the heart of Kihei which is my absolute favorite. From the lanai we could see whales jumping, from the property fronting the ocean we saw numerous turtles most mornings and even a manta ray! The location is amazing. The condo itself is perfect. The condo has a constant ocean breeze so he condo stays at a perfect temperature. The condo had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. It was clean, well stocked, and cozy. Cindy is a wonderful host who checked on us upon check-in and was prompt to respond each time I reached out to her even before/after our arrival. I highly recommend staying here!

Great spot

Couldn’t ask for a better location. Lovely views. Well furnished. Great selection of beach furniture/sand toys. Host was very easy to contact if needed and very helpful. I would suggest some earplugs as there are some vocal roosters in the area 😁 10/10.
