The condo had everything you could want. Kitchen was fully stocked with all the cooking equipment you needed. Beach chairs, towels and sun umbrellas were also available. Condo was quiet, right across from the pool and right across the street from the beach. Shops and restaurants all around.

Very nice place to stay! Me and husband stayed there for our honeymoon and loved that there was two beaches both less then 5 minutes walk away! The kitchen was well stocked and had everything you'd need for cooking if you are not planning to eat out every day. There were also beach chairs and umbrella's available which were super nice for the beach!

The unit was very clean and comfortable. I really enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen because we really like to cook. The location was great! Beaches are right across the street and there are many shops and restaurants near by. The pool was also great. The pool is big and is really clean. We absolutely loved our stay!

We stayed here for a week at this property. The location is great and the property managers were very commutative and responsive. Overall, the condo is very dark and there isn't much natural light. The picture shown does is accurate in furniture but not in lighting. Also, the lanai is very dark and you are basically looking at a wall, (although there is a lot of greenery), so not as pleasant to sit outside. Finally, the kitchen is stocked with just the minimum. There are 4 large plates, large bowls etc but no small plates. The coffee pot, and pans are great but there are no sharp knives and was hard to cut a block of cheese and a pineapple. The air conditioning was necessary and great in both rooms. The bed was fine and pillows were great. Overall, it met our needs and was a basic place to stay and sleep, but I would not stay here again due to how dark it felt in the condo with very little natural light.

This is a great suite. Everything you need. Nice and clean. Excellent location so close to the best beaches and all sorts of shops close by. It was very peaceful and a nice balcony. Nicely updated kitchen with everything you need to have meals in. T.V.'s in the living room and bedroom. AC in living room and bedroom. Very comfortable and the king bed was also comfortable. Check out time is a little early at 10am, and most flights home are late, but we knew in advance and figured out a plan. We would definitely stay again. Enjoyed our stay. Mahalo!

Nice but bed is uncomfortable

I was happy with this place for the price, not ritzy but certainly adequate, some would say that the amenities are just a bit dated. I would come back again. Pillows on the bed were great, but the mattress was not the most comfortable. Still, i would give it 4.5 stars if i could, just didn't think it quite reached 5 stars for me

Loved Maui & Kihei Kai Nani

We recently had a great six night stay in Maui at the Kihei Kai Nani. This quiet, clean, family friendly property is steps away from the amazing beach and amazing snorkling!! The pool was a great space, and very refreshing. Adjacent to the pool was a useful/clean laundry room with lots of machines. Ample parking for tenants too. Our unit in building 12 was directly across from the pool, and was very quiet. We liked the convenient keyless entry into the unit even though our code didn’t work until exactly 4pm (checkin time), we arrived at our door at 3:55pm. The unit is as shown in the photos and is spacious enough for a couple or small family. The bed was not great and may require replacement but we liked that it was a king size. Kitchen was fully stocked with all things needed to prepare three meals a day. Bathroom was clean and spacious as was the living room. We appreciated the beach chairs, bamboo mat and umbrella to take to the beach. We loved the quietness of Kihei and its proximity to many other tourist attractions and cannot wait to plan to come again. Our one and only complaint was the entire property touts itself on being a ‘smoke free property’ with designated smoking areas. We are non-smokers yet not all tenants abided by the above rule. On more than one evening, we were displeased to have the smell of smoke enter our unit (windows were closed) from what we believe was the unit below via the AC unit. Sad that people don’t follow the rules.

Place was great. Cost in Maui rentals is very high. Would love to see better pricing. It was the norm for the area. So not likely to get much better for a while. Lovely stay.

Excellent location across the street from the beach

The location is perfectly close to the beach. They had beach chairs, a cooler and an umbrella. They were fairly quick to respond to an issue with the door and when we needed a blanket for the sleeper sofa. Pleasant staff other than the girl at the front desk although I believe she works for the building, not Vacation Maui. Very clean. Would stay again!
