Our condo was really nice. We loved the view! The condo was clean and contemporary. Would stay there again. Only suggestions would be to add a tv in the bedroom. We enjoyed our stay!

Paradise

Beautiful property with a fabulous view.Well equipped and perfect for couples. Very safe area and a great beach to walk. Loved watching the whales offshore….bring binoculars. Would we stay again? ……in a heartbeat.

A senior moment

We have been traveling to Maui since 1975 on a regular basis and this is our first time in this particular unit. We found it well stocked with all the comfort of Home and located in a beautiful area, possibly gorgeous view of the ocean Amenities surrounding the property or excellent, and our expectations order exceeded and every regard In the airline reservations, we are considering very strongly to return next year Mahalo for a wonderful memory

Amazing view, fantastic amenities

This was our second stay at Ekahi village and this unit was a favorite. The photos don’t do the view justice. We had a couple of small issues that were quickly resolved by the property manager. Only downside is that this unit doesn’t have its own umbrella which is a first for me on Maui. I highly suggest that the hosts simply buy one for the unit but the option is to have one delivered and pay $20. (It’s only $17 for the week from Boss Frogs) It would also be amazing to have more soft seating on the lanai - we spent most of our time out there!

Stunning Views

Absolutely loved the condo and property. The views were amazing. Pretty hefty walk back from the beach but manageable. Loved the extras like laundry detergent and beach towels and chairs,etc. My only complaint is that I wanted late check-out but never got an answer as to whether we could book it or not. (Asked three times.) So, we had to leave the condo and drive around the island for seven hours before our flight. We Would definitely stay here again.

Great Condo in Wailea

This was an excellent property that met all of our expectations. The location was fantastic, close to the beach and pool, great golf courses, restaurants and shopping. It was equipped with everything we needed for a special vacation. The only negative was slightly old carpet with a few stains.

Ideally located gem

First time staying at Wailea Ekahi and absolutely loved the property--it is ideally located next to the larger resorts with direct access to the beach and walking path. Beautifully maintained with a diverse range of tropical plants and flowers, and the shared pool and bbq/patio area are fantastic for groups. The unit itself is actually much larger than I expected, with an open kitchen/dining/living area and access to a smallish but beautiful lanai with a view of the surrounding property and ocean. It has beach chairs and towels for your use, and the welcome basket was a nice touch. Overall loved my stay!

This property was ideal for our Maui stay. It was on the second floor of a 2 story building in a south Maui location. It was a very quiet condo. It had everything we needed for our stay--some basic essentials to get us started such as small soaps in the bathroom, dish soap, laundry pods, etc. The Hawaiian goodies that were left on the counter really came in handy while we were out exploring the island. The condo was very clean and the patio was so nice to have with a view of the ocean in the distance. The beach chairs were nice to have. The walk from the condo to the main pool and beach were a little longer than we thought and it's an uphill walk on the way back, but once we figured out the way to go, it wasn't bad. There are grills conveniently located through the plan and the pool was nice to swim in--it does have a small shallow end and much of it is deep water. Overall, it was a wonderful place to stay for our week in Maui.

First Timers

New to Hawaii! We really enjoyed our stay at the condo. It was well stocked (kitchen, beach chairs, towels, etc). We liked the location (both within the complex and within Maui). It was a 5 minute walk to the beach. This condo was more economical than some we looked at. We would stay here again. The only negative comment I have is that the living room could use some updating (furniture is getting old and the carpet has some stains). But again, we would stay here on our next Hawaii trip.

Beautiful location and condo, but noise from renters below will invade your quiet lanai space

We love the Wailea area, and this condo is lovely. It feels quite spacious, has lots of closet space, and was very comfortable for the two of us. We saw a few ants on our first day, but they eventually disappeared. (We wondered if the previous renters had left food on the countertops.) There were a few stains on the light tan carpet, most likely caused by guests wearing shoes and/or spraying sunscreen indoors. The living room chairs were not particularly comfy for watching movies. We enjoyed the view and seeing sunsets from the lanai. Our biggest frustration was that three to four families were occupying two units immediately below us. While they weren't overly loud, their conversations sounded like they were on our lanai. They played music throughout the evening on their patio, which competed with the soft music that we wanted to listen to on our lanai so we ended up just listening to their music and conversations. One evening, we tried to turn up our music to hear it over theirs, but they turned up their volume further. These were nice families enjoying good times, not being excessively noisy. We didn't feel it would be appropriate to ask them to be quiet as they were not loud. This issue is the thing anyone renting this unit needs to understand: If there are renters below, be prepared to have limited privacy and quiet on your lanai. The large, heated pool and covered area by the beach were lovely. As much as we love the area and the condo itself, we would not rent this unit, or any other second story unit at Ekahi Village, in the future. We have spent many vacations in multi-level condos, but have never experienced the lack of privacy we encountered here.
