Great family vacation

We loved our stay at Ekahi. The unit had everything we needed and was a good base for our adventures. The Ekahi common areas were awesome, with a great pool and bbq area and direct access to a beautiful beach. Location was amazing, we didn’t want to leave

Awesome property. Fantastic host. Air conditioning unit in main room is very loud, but also effective. Views are amazing. The HOA is strict. No pool toys allowed in the pool, for instance. And no golf carts allowed on property (we rented one and had to return it right away). Unit is fully loaded, kitchen, bedding, beach stuff, etc. We had everything we needed.

5/5, I would stay here again as well as recommend to anyone. Amazing views, easy walk to the main pool and amazing beach. Staying here elevated the vacation. Great condo and facilities for adults or small children.

Wonderful experience in Msui

Beautiful clean property in a great location close to ocean and shopping. 3 pools, fitness center and covered pavillion. All amenities provided. Onsite parking. Great hosts.

what a view!

This unit has such a great location. Easy access to several pools and the beach. It was lovely to sit on the lanai eating breakfast and watching the whales. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful time in Maui! Condo was very comfortable and location was great! The ocean views from the condo are beautiful. We loved walking to the beach and snorkeling. Jim was very responsive and we appreciated the late check out! We hope to come back soon!!

Nice Location

Great view from lani for whale watching. Restaurants, shopping within walking distance. Nice beaches and beautiful condo community. We appreciated beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, towels all being supplied. We look forward to a return trip. Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise

Beautiful Views

Jim and Pats condo was great for our family. The views were outstanding. Any issue we had was dealt with immediately by Cheri and Jonathan. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Maui and at your Ekahi condo. Thank you again, Skip and Mickey

The Perfect Home Away from Home!

Truly splendid! The 2 bedroom condo is upstairs with ocean view (of Molokini & West Maui) from all 3 private balconies. Each sunset has been memorable and breathtaking. The home is well equipped and spacious. The owner is most gracious and accommodating. We have been to Wailea for over twenty years and will stop searching now as Ekahi 26C is our favorite home away from home. We hope to return here for years to come.

Million dollar view and beautiful beach

Jim was a wonderful host, easy to communicate with, and very thorough with tips for things to do and restaurant recommendations. This condo had everything we needed for our Maui vacation. It was clean, beds were comfortable, kitchen was well equipped, and even had beach towels, chairs, and umbrellas. We enjoyed watching the sunset from the main balcony several evenings. The beach was about a 5-8 minute walk, but with the wagon provided, we could load our beach chairs and cruise right over to the beach access. The beach was perfect with soft sand and gentle waves. We saw multiple sea turtles! The grounds around the Ekahi Village were beautifully landscaped and peaceful. The location was very convenient to shopping, restaurants, and beaches in Wailea and Kihei. We'd love to return someday.

A little tired

Could use an upgrade. Bath tile and caulk dirty. Replace carpet with tile in living room. Touch up paint finishes. Replace damaged TP holder. Upgrade and modernize LR furniture. In conclusion, a good experience with ok value. Upgrades would make it excellent value.

We can't wait to go again.

This is our 3rd time staying in this complex, our 1st time in this condo and I would do it again. The views from each lanai are beautiful. It's a great space for entertaining, with plenty of indoor/outdoor seating and still being together. The condo is very well supplied with a full kitchen of dishes and utensils, extra toiletries under the bathroom sinks (probably left from other tenants but still helpful), several bath and beach towels, three body boards, snorkel gear, beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, and even a few condiments and spices/herbs in the kitchen. With air conditioners in each room you can cool down your space as needed quickly. Location wise it's a bit of a trek to the family pool and beach but really not a problem. We did it multiple times a day, it's a good downhill/uphill workout and you don't leave the property to get there. There is a quiet pool and barbeques close by. Our family has been staying in this complex for over 20 years because you can't beat the location and value.

Great stay in Wailea

You can't beat the location of this property, Wailea is a wonderful area to stay in Maui. The ocean views off the main patio are sweeping and fantastic. This condo has a nicely updated kitchen and showers. There is a good amount of space in the condo and I think it could comfortably hold up to six people assuming the couch pulls out, which I don't know. Jim sent detailed instructions with recommendations for beaches and restaurants which was helpful. Jim answered all my emails in a very timely manner and was very friendly. We didn't have any issues while staying in the condo. Some things to note about the condo and the community. First, Okolani is a busy street and you will hear a lot of noise if you are on the patio, but it is very quiet with the doors shut. The condo overlooks a maintenance area where the staff stores golf carts and there can be noise from that, too. Jim desperately needs to get rid of the carpet which is old and stained and a weird choice in a beach house. The linens are old and threadbare and would have long since been relegated to rags at my house. Most of the linens had stains which is not pleasant. But I would say the biggest issue with this condo is the curtains, which are nearly sheer. The curtains are absolutely see through at night which is very disconcerting. Because of the layout of the main bedroom there is no place private to change except by squeezing yourself into the shower/toilet room. And bring a sleep mask because the light coming through in the morning is blinding. The same curtains are in the other bedroom, but the bathroom layout is more private. Looking at the map this condo looks fairly close to the ocean and main pool. Know that it takes several minutes to walk down to the beach and you are left to your own devices to find the quickest way because there is not a path. To walk down to the beach you will use stairs, stepping stones and walk on uneven ground. And when I say down, that is literal. When you come back from the pool or beach it is a steady uphill climb. When you are laden with chair, umbrella and beach bag it takes a decent amount of stamina and physical effort, so be aware of that. There is a small quiet pool pretty close to the condo. We used the main pool once and it was bath water warm which some people like and some won't. Overall we had a good experience at this condo but there are small changes Jim could make to make it even better. I would stay here again.

We recently stayed at this condo in Hawaii. The location offered beautiful views, though one side of the unit faced the roadside, which added some traffic noise. The kitchen appeared to have been updated, but the rest of the condo felt somewhat dated and not quite as spacious as the photos on VRBO suggested.The main concern during our stay was the air conditioning in the master bedroom. It wasn’t functioning properly, and a portable floor unit had been installed as a replacement. While it helped cool the room, it was quite noisy and vented through the window, which detracted from the experience.Overall, the condo was okay—functional and fine for a short stay—but it didn’t fully meet expectations based on the listing.
