Our family of 4 loved our stay in this fantastic unit at Wailea Ekahi - it fit our needs perfectly, and made for an amazingly fun, comfortable 8-day Maui vacation. The location cannot be beat, with a 5 min walk down the hill to the lovely resort-style swimming pool that serves the entire condo complex, pavilion with well-equipped gym, and direct access to the awesome Keawakapu Beach, which is ideal for bodysurfing, breathtaking sunsets, and snorkeling. From the beach, you can easily access the Wailea Beach Path and all the major Wailea resorts and beaches (via a 5 min walk to the left), which is a great bonus. In terms of the unit itself - the upstairs ocean and sunset/mountain views are outstanding, and the downstairs kitchen and living areas are comfortable and well appointed. The primary bedroom upstairs is spacious with a very comfortable king bed and large bathroom. The second bedroom directly off the master has a low slanted ceiling, but was ideal for our two younger kids (10 and 6) to have their own space and give us privacy too. This is an ideal home for a family vacation for a couple with younger kids who wants to enjoy plenty of beach and pool time, great opportunities for running/walking along the Wailea Beach Path and Wailea Alanui Road, and super close easy access to all of the great beaches, restaurants, shopping, and resorts in the Makena, Wailea, and Kihei areas. We hope to return!

Excellent property!

The property and condo were exactly as described. It was spacious and clean. The owners are great communicators and made themselves available for questions. We had a tsunami warning during our stay and they reached out to make sure we were aware of the evacuation procedures and were safe. Would definitely stay here again!

If you want a laid-back and relaxing place to stay with quick access to beautiful beach, this is your place. It was perfect for my husband and me, and our two teens. It has a really nice lanai with lots of bird visitors. It's a nice 5 min. walk down to the pool/clubhouse/beach. The beach is gorgeous, and the location was perfect. We didn't cook, but the kitchen was perfect and seemed well appointed. The grills are just a short walk out from the lanai. The host provides an abundance of helpful information about everything you need to enjoy yourself and be safe. 0 complaints, perfect stay.

Fantastic Condo!

terrific location, extremely comfortable home, with living areas downstairs and sleeping quarters up. The lanai and upstairs balconies are well furnished for maximum relaxation. We will be back!

New Favorite Unit at Ekahi!

Ekahi 16A was perfect for our family of four! And room for potential visitors/grandparents! The main floor was lovely; great layout for kitchen/dining room/living room. Spacious patio off the main floor for lounging and eating. The upstairs balcony has the most comfortable outdoor furniture and amazing views. Great location for both walking down to the pool/beach as well as walking to the Wailea Beach Path and Wailea Shops. Very central! Some parts of the unit feel a bit dingy or extra well worn, such as the kitchen (limited supplies, not full dining sets for 6) and all carpets. Other than that, great unit!

Beautiful views in Wailea Ekahi

We had a wonderful stay at Wailea Ekahi 16A. We loved the views from both the upstairs lanai and even just hanging out in the living room. The unit is very comfortable. The bedroom setup was ideal for our family with two small children (though beware the stairs! We put up the baby gate and it wasn’t a problem). We spent most of our time at the pool and/or beach which is just a short walk away. We hope to return soon!

Fabulous resort property and beautiful unit

As mentioned on other reviews the bedroom setup is a bit odd. But we were all family. The place is very clean and extremely well equipped for cooking and beach activities. The furniture is very comfortable. We used the gas grills(one is electric so try to get the gas one on the left). They are quite busy in the evening. The beach is fabulous and whale sightings often. We appreciated that the unit had coffee filters and ground coffee as well as a variety of spices . Excellent communication and checkin. The office for parking passes is a bit of a challenge to find but it’s a nice walk around. We love Wailea Ekahi.

Family bacation

We enjoyed our stay very much. It was clean and comfortable. The upstairs balcony had a good view of the whales. It was close to the new barbecue. Still a bit of walk to the pool and beach but I like Big Beach anyway because of the sand. The manager was very nice. He came and replaced the washer and dryer for us with no fuss. Nice guy!

A very nice accommodation

This is a very nice place and was perfect for our family of 2 adults and 2 children ages 8 and 5. Had a little difficulty getting responses to inquiries and check in instructions but did get them the day we landed and was all fine. We had an excellent stay and would definitely stay here again Pros - Space was not too big nor too small. has a very large grass area off back patio that is perfect for kids to run around/play. It is only a 3-4 minute walk to the main area consisting of a heated pool, covered pavilion (with grills ovens, ice, fridge/freezer), gym, shuffle board, pickle ball, beach access. Resort beach is perfect for adults and children. Condo has great air-conditioning, very nice indoor or outdoor sitting/dining. Condo had an umbrella, beach chairs, sand toys, soccer ball, wagon, 2 boogie boards at condo. Resort is next to the paved walkway that goes south for a few miles past many resort hotels. Close to Kihei and Wailea shops and restaurants. Cons - The second bedroom is just inside the first bedroom and most likely not suitable for a second adult couple. A set of plastic cups and plates is needed as this is an ideal condo to bring children. A nice place like this would also benefit by having a coffee bean grinder. Again, can't wait to come back!

Wonderful townhome, we'll definitely be back

A family of three stayed in this fantastic 2-story townhome. It's spacious, well organized with kitchen that has everything a home cook would need. It offers tremendous views from both floors (especially from the master bedroom balcony). Kory (the manager) was very helpful to answer our questions. He helped by mailing our keys, which we managed to forget in the unit. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back in future. The only issue that is worth mention is that the second much smaller bedroom does not have a dedicated A/C outlet, which makes it much hotter than the rest of the house. It also has a small step down at the entry to the room and that makes it prone to people stumbling (especially at night). I wish it had a small night light with motion sensor.

Family vacation

Location is great for our 31/2 year old grandson. He loves the heated pool and beach is right next to it. The grass area at our end unit provides spacious outdoor for him to play. The room next to Master bedroom is perfect for my grandson.

5 Star Unit

Wailea Ekahi 16A was so perfect in every aspect. We really enjoyed it. Loved that the living quarters with a bathroom were on the ground level and the bedrooms with a very large bathroom were on the 2nd floor. The unit was very clean and well equipped in the kitchen. It also had a very large chest/storage container outside with sand toys, snorkeling equipment, children’s life jackets, boogie boards, chairs and an umbrella. Communication with the property manager was excellent. We will be back!

Honeymoon Bliss

I cannot stress enough how lovely this unit was to stay in. My husband and I stayed here for a part of our honeymoon and we had the most wonderful time. The unit was spotless, comfortable and the view was beautiful. The complex as a whole had lots to offer and was in a great location to the beach. Would absolutely come back again!

Great unit - great for Family with Kids

We love staying at Ekahi and have rented many units on the property. 16A is a townhouse and worked well for us and our adult kids. The only catch, which we knew in advance, was that the master bedroom lacks full privacy, it shares a common landing with the second bedroom and there is no door. Not a big deal for us, but we appreciated that the property manager reached out to let us know before finalizing our booking.

Ideal condo for our South Maui stay!

This place met all of our needs; the condo was clean, comfortable and spacious. We enjoyed the lanais every single day - morning, afternoon and evening. The amenities of Ekahi were fantastic - beautiful grounds, pools and beach access. It was the perfect location - close enough to walk just about everywhere you'd want to go in the area. We plan to return next spring.
