We loved this condo! The views from the balcony were stunning, especially those magical Maui sunsets. Bring your binoculars to watch the whales all day long if you're there during whale season! It's a short, easy drive from the airport and all of the amenities of the city, but sits on a quiet stretch of sandy beach that you can walk for miles. A short walk down the beach can take you to the ABC store, the Sugar Beach Bakery for amazing breakfast pastries and Ululani's Shave Ice. The pool and hot tub area is lovely and there were always plenty of lounges available. The condo itself was clean and well-stocked with everything you need. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended!

This is a very nice condo. The unit has been updated and all of the appliances and furniture are high quality. The view from the lanai is amazing. The condo complex is in a great area, close to shopping and restaurants but fare enough away to be quiet. The heated saltwater pool is very nice. Our only complaint was that the unit was not well prepared for our arrival. There were towels in the dryer to be folded, dishes in the dishwasher to be put away, and hair in the bathroom to be cleaned up. The basic necessities were sparse, just 1/4 roll of toilet paper, no hand soap, no garbage bags. I would still recommend this very nice condo but I hope that the cleaning staff will do a better job in the future

We found the condo to be a perfect location for everything we were looking to explore. Not to mention the view from our penthouse was amazing and we could get to the beach in minutes. The condo size was a perfect situation for just my husband and I but for the price, I was not expecting to have to furnish basic necessities like trash bags (there was only one when we arrived for our 10-day stay), laundry detergent (we did some great hikes that were pretty muddy so this was handy to have), etc. It was a busy place though with the hot tub and pool and chairs busy most times of the day.

Great place but we came late the key did not work at first . After spending some time trying to get in the key finally worked . I think it hadn’t been used in awhile maybe some we 40 would have helped . The unit was wonderful clean had everything you could want . View was amazing we took some wonderful pics. Asked for a late check out and they let us have it. I would come again .

Everything we hoped for and more

This unit is one-of-a-kind. The view from this property is priceless. Imagine waking up and opening the doors to take in the fresh breeze, and listen to the rolling waves. The view is spectacular. The unit has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. We made breakfast every morning and one of the evenings cooked out at the grills downstairs. They had plenty of towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkel masks, books and games. The bed was comfortable and the shower water was refreshing. The soft colors used throughout the unit made it a place we enjoyed coming back to each afternoon. We look forward to returning.

Amazing! Would stay again!

My 18 year old daughter and I traveled to Maui to celebrate her high school graduation. I traveled to Maui in 2004 and decided then that if I ever had a daughter, I would name her Makena (after Makena Beach). After she was born, I decided I would take her to see her namesake for her graduation gift. Staying here was perfect. The view was incredible. 10/10. I enjoyed waking up and drinking coffee on the lanai every morning. The only issue we had was when we arrived, it was after 5 pm. The check-in email had the door code on it, but it didn't have the actual property room number on it. I had to call the number listed and he quickly was able to tell me which unit we were in. The kitchen was fully stocked and had anything we might have needed to cook. I would've loved to have a K-cup coffee maker but the regular coffee pot was fine. There were plenty of beach towels, two really nice beach chairs, a cooler and a washer and dryer. All which were used and appreciated. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was amazing. The location was perfect! We toured up the north coast a few times and all the way as south as Makena. No where took longer than an hour to get to. But driving in our convertible was fun. I highly recommend a convertible! All in all, a fantastic place to stay and would totally stay again in the future!

Hawaiian anniversary trip!

We had the most amazing time!!!! Shane and Lauren’s place was perfect could not have asked for better accommodations everything was top notch!!!! Very clean, very accommodating, perfect location, the office staff and equipment staff were amazing! We will be back!!

Pleasant and quiet location

This was a good location for our trip to Maui. We enjoyed the cleanliness and quiet of the property. Wish they would have had a better eatery on site, but the sandwich shop was fine in a pinch. Our unit could have been cleaner, but acceptable. Walls needed painting and dresser should be replaced as it was unusable. Very well stocked.

Dream Condo

This condo is an exceptional one. It is beautifully appointed, sparkling clean and absolutely the best place we’ve ever stayed in Maui. The king bed is super comfortable and the A/C and wireless were great. The views from the lanai were incomparable. I wish I could give this unit 10 stars! .

Great view, pool. Best for a couples trip

The condo was clean and updated. I was a bit confused on how to checkin so went to the front desk and they provide the room code and parking permit and WiFi info. It was easy and not stressful.

Location & Upgrades

This unit is centrally located no matter where you would like to go on Maui. It has also been beautifully remodeled with up graded appliances and decor. And it is equipped with every conceivable item you might need during your stay. It is the perfect “couples” unit in the perfect location.

Check in was good. When I reserved a year in advance, it showed a high top table on the balcony. I was disappointed to see a low top table. Wish the owners would have provided information on how to get local stations on the TV and how to use the induction stove. We figured out the stove but used my UTube tv account to access programs on the television.. our unit was very clean and good view. Bed was most comfortable. Did not care for having to put bed linen in the washer before we left but we did do this. The grounds , pool and beach area were all very good. All in all we had a great time.

Great place to stay. Amazing vies and beach. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is slow communication and the welcome/information booklet was found on the bottom shelf of the coffee table. Had it been on the table or counter, this would be 5 stars. But yes, I would recommend this condo and stay there again.

What an amazing property! The views were incredible. The condo was beyond clean. It had an amazingly well-appointed kitchen! The very luxurious bed had the BEST sheets and the most comfortable pillows. The owner kindly extended our check out to accommodate a last minute reschedule to see the sunrise at Haleakala. The downsides were very few. We noticed that the bath towels had a bit of a mildewy smell. We had to reach out for assistance in operating the TV and safe as the Welcome Book had no instructions. We might suggest to verify that the door code is changed between rentals. Per the Welcome Book, it appeared that the same code was used for each renter. Aside from these minor hiccups, our first trip to Maui was made even more enjoyable by having such a comfortable space to return to each night! Thank you for your hospitality!
