The AC worked great! We really enjoyed the view from the patio. We ate breakfast every morning on the patio and enjoyed several sunsets from there also. Host provided perfect amount of toiletries and starter items for us. Host provided quick responses to questions. Absolute perfect stay!

No better location to vacation

We always choose Sugar Beach Resort as our go to place for Maui vacations. This unit is on a corner with extra viewing. All amenities are available in the kitchen and bathroom. All tile and hardwood so sweeping keeps it tidy. Granddaughter met a bird on the lanai and they wrote notes back and forth. So many memories on this vacation. I highly recommend this location.

We loved our condo. We couldjust walk to the beach or pool. We feltourcondo had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. I would highly recommend.

Wonderful and just right for 2 people

The photos and description, at time of reservation was representative of the unit and the property. We stayed 5 nights in October 2024. The sunset is indeed spectacular from the lanai! We sat on the lanai every night to watch the beautiful sunset. The unit size is just right for a couple. It would be very tight otherwise. The bathroom situation would be awkward and weird, as access to the bedroom is only through the bathroom. A sliding door does separate these 2 rooms, but if someone needed privacy in the bathroom, you couldn't or wouldn't be able to enter or exit the bedroom. The in-unit clothes washer + dryer was extremely helpful. The unit owners thought of everything, right down to paper clips! Thank you! Beach and property appears to be adult orientated, which was absolutely perfect for us! We already recommended to another couple and would absolutely stay here again.

Christmas through New Years 2023/2024

We had an amazing time in this condo at the Sugar Beach resort. It was right on the beach and just a short walk down the beach we could get shaved ice and shop the ABC store. there’s also a farmers market that was open that we could get fresh fruits and vegetables and look at the local jewelry. It was a very family friendly resort and everyone was so nice and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Escape from Winter

Awesome resort in uncrowded North Kihei. We had flight problems and arrived three days late but Chris and Patti were very generous and let us stay extra night since there next guest was not due for another day. We will be back!

Very nice condo. We’ll appointed. Modernised. Owner extremely helpful. Nice ocean view. Slept well on fold out couch which was comfortable and firm. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Great place

We decided to try and save some money using VRBO instead of an expensive resort while on Maui. This unit had everything we needed with space to spread out a little. We didn’t do any cooking, but we did store some simple breakfast, beverage, and snacks in the fridge. The washer and dryer were great to take care of a week’s laundry we had accumulated while visiting other islands. The beach is not great, but convenient. Other nicer beaches are not far away. Overall I would stay again.

Sugar Beaches Best

Almost don’t want to 5 star so it’s available next time we come. Completely as advertised. Not much room for non-refrigerated food but that’s because it’s a well stocked kitchen. Did not need anything. Snorkel gear, ice chest, chairs, sand toys and umbrellas for the beach. Not the most comfy hide a bed but none are. Definitely will stay here again.

Nice property in a convinient location

We were pleasantly surprised at how well maintained the resort property was. The grounds keepers were out early every morning cleaning the pool and other common areas. The location of the unit is close to the elevator, stairs and trash shoot. It is relatively close to the pool. We also liked that we could walk the beach to access the farmers market for fresh coconut water. I appreciated that it is centrally located on the island, so it is a short drive to most attractions and the airport.

Wonderful!

My fiancé and I had a great time at our Sugar Beach Resort stay! We had a spectacular ocean view and the unit was equipped with everything we needed! We loved being central to everything in the island and the abundance of things in the area we could easily walk to. We would definitely come back!!

Excellent

Excellent unit in every way and 100% as advertised. Our stay was one week and we used the functional kitchen every day and everything worked as it should. The kitchen had all of the tools necessary for most any meal. The resort had grills that were popular but we did not use them. The resort kept everything very clean and well serviced. We really appreciated the in-unit laundry; the machines were easy to use and worked very well. The bed was very comfortable, we are picky. The bedroom linens were of good quality as were all of the bath linens. The beach was a one minute walk from the unit and there were no crowds. We enjoyed long peaceful walks in the morning and even took a simple walk to our now favorite shave ice location (Ululani’s). We would not hesitate to stay here again.
