Beautiful 2 bedroom unit

As a family we rented two units here at Elua. This two bedroom was completely remodeled with very comfortable updated furniture and a stunning view. It was further away from the pool and a bit more of a walk to the beach ( still only 5 minutes down a windy meandering path on the property), but the views couldn’t be beat. Having the grassy area and large patio was great for grandchildren play. The kitchen was well equipped with plastic wrap and tinfoil provided. It did completely lack any spices except for cinnamon, s and p. So be prepared. I would definitely return to this unit.

Amazing View and Stay

We stayed at this property for two weeks in July and it was absolutely spectacular. Every morning we had coffee on the lanai and every evening we watched the sunset from the same beautiful spot. The security staff at the gate was friendly and professional. The landscaping was impeccable. The kitchen had everything we needed. We loved bird watching and swimming with turtles right off the beach in front of the condo. The location in Maui was great - it was within walking distance of the Wailea resorts and a reasonable drive to Mama's Fish House, the Hana Highway, the airport, Lahaina, and Kaanapali beach. We highly recommend this property and hope to visit again soon.

A wonderful week in paradise!

We loved our stay at the condo in Wailea Elua Village. It was pristine, quiet, spacious, conveniently located, and the view is incredible. We would wake early each morning to have coffee on the wrap-around lanai and watch daylight arrive over the spectacular surroundings. We enjoyed snorkeling and swimming at nearby Ulua beach, which is just a short walk across the property, as well as walks on the oceanside path along the resorts. We also used the property oceanside pool and gym, which both stay open until 10pm and are virtually empty in the evening hours. Although the gym is small, it has adequate equipment and an amazing view of the beach, palm trees, and ocean. We like to cook and were impressed with how well equipped the kitchen is. We made several meals in but also enjoyed the restaurants and lounges at the nearby resorts, which are walking distance, as well as local spots throughout the island. The Shops at Wailea are also about a ten minute walk and offer stores, restaurants, Honolulu Coffee, and the Island Gourmet Market with produce, gifts, a grill, a smoothie bar, and prepared foods. The condo is also in a good location from which to make day trips to Haleakala, Lahaina, and a twisty long road trip to Hana. We had no issues at the condo during our stay so therefore no need to reach out to the property manager. However, in advance of our arrival, they provided detailed and helpful instructions and texted us with a contact number should we have any needs. It would be a bonus if the furniture in the condo was a bit more updated (less poofy upholstery) but it was perfectly fine for our needs. It was also great to have a washing machine and dryer available in the unit so that we could do laundry and pack more lightly. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely return!

Amazing location and views!

This property was really an amazing unit. With a huge wraparound lanai, amazing sunset views, and a short walk to the beach and pool, it was the perfect location for our family vacation. My only (minor) complaint was the add-on daily charges for items like a Pack N Play, beach umbrella, and beach toys for our toddler. This was our 3rd stay in Elua Village in the past two years, and neither of the other two properties charged for these items. But overall the unit was really modern, clean, and big. It's really one of the best locations in Elua!

Paradise - and notes for handicap renters

First - we give this a 10/10, highly recommend and will stay again. The view alone is worth the price, and that is no exaggeration. Check-in: smooth, easy, and worked well for late arrival (landed at OGG about 6:30pm and were in our condo watching the sunset by 7:15pm). Stopped at the gate, gave our information, got a sticker for our car, maps, and helpful information. Easily found the unit and parked right in front. Condo layout and rooms: great size and function. Loved the kitchen and used it for 2-3 meals a day. There is a market next door at the Shops at Wailea or a Safeway nearby about 10 minutes drive. The bedrooms are next to one another and each had plenty of room. The master bedroom has a nice big walk-in closet and good size bathroom. The smaller bedroom makes use of the shared bathroom. But the best space is the lanai. We had meals outside, watched every sunset, and saw many sunrises, too. It was the absolute perfect spot and we wouldn’t pick a different lanai, this was paradise. The team managing the condo also made adding late check-out very easy and we extended our stay on the last day right up to our flight time of 6:30pm! Activities and Location: Wailea was a wonderful home-base. We enjoyed the pool and beach at the condo and did many day-trips. It was easy to get to our luau in Lahina, the bike tour at Haleakala, surfing lessons in Kihei, and a snorkel and kayak tour right in Makena next to the Wailea resorts. Cons: The only issue we had wasn’t really an “issue” and we never reported it. It is really more a preference. The King bed in the main bedroom was uncomfortable. It felt very old and cheap compared to the rest of the condo. For the cost of the unit, we would have liked to have had a more restful sleep on a better mattress. This should be updated. **Handicap Review** We booked this unit fully knowing it was not marketed as an “accessible” unit. From the pictures it looked like it would be accessible enough. We made it work! Note: there is a large curb at the entrance (unavoidable) and the showers are not ADA, though there is a handheld shower and bench in the larger main bath. Doorways were too narrow for most wheelchairs, but my narrow travel chair fit in all but the bathroom. The beach is NOT accessible in really any way. The pools have lifts, though we didn’t try them. The sidewalks randomly end and are VERY steep. Recommend a powered chair.

Great location, great view

Great location with grand views of the the ocean. Great for whale watching from the lanai. Comfortable accommodations with good kitchen and BBQ for fixing meals. Great beach access and private sunbathing area.

Wonderful! Amazing sunset views!

Just returned from a wonderful vacation on Maui at this property. The condo is even nicer than the pictures! The property was very clean and nicely renovated. The highlight is the wrap-around lanai with amazing ocean views. We ended up canceling all of our dinner reservations just so we could stay home to watch the sunset every night. The huge lanai has plenty of comfortable lounge furniture for relaxing and a nice outdoor dining table to take in the sunset over dinner. The landscaping in the development is gorgeous - really feels like paradise! Short walk through the property to a very nice beach (Ulua Beach) with good snorkeling on the north side. We really enjoyed the two pools and also the pickle ball court (condo has paddles). Also, there is a private area on a bluff next to the beach with covered lounge chairs just for guests of Wailea Elua condos. Convenient walk to shops nearby and the Wailea ocean path with access to many restaurants. On our last visit to Maui, we stayed at the Fairmont Kea Lani and Ritz Carlton Kapalua, but we enjoyed this condo much more! Very well-equipped with everything you need for a great stay at the beach. (btw: if you have been watching the White Lotus on HBO, it was filmed very close by - so the gorgeous views you see are the same ones that you get from this condo!)

Excellent Stay!

This is the place you’re looking for to stay. Easy checking in process, parking right in front of your room. The place is so clean, it has all the amenities you need, and the spectacular view, easy access to the beach. Totally worth the bucks compared to the big name resorts near by especially for family with young kids. Would recommend to all my friends and family.
