Wonderful vacation

This was a great place to stay. Short walk to beach and miles of sand to walk either North or South. We did not rent a car but public transport is very close. Great restaurants just .2 miles away and a large supermarket just .1 miles away. Condo was excellent, clean modern.

It was my first time visiting Maui and I was not disappointed. The condo is lovely, clean and walking distance to the beach,restaurants , stores and groceries The only issue was a kerfuffle in communication and having me confused with another client. Once I actually spoke to Martha, it was fine. I would stay here again!

Good place near the beach

We really appreciated all the beach gear included in the rental and the apartment was nice and had a partial ocean view from the balcony. The only weird part is the building is shaped in a way that the units all look into each other so if you’re looking for a very private apartment, I wouldn’t book here.

Cute and cozy with excellent location and view

Martha was very helpful. The condo was clean and comfortable. Well stocked. Location was excellent. Central to pretty much everything on the island. Best sunsets from the lanai. All around great place. We would definately return.

10 day relaxing stay in Maui

Martha was a very diligent manager who worked quickly to resolve a couple of issues. The unit was well provided for so all we had to buy was food. Very friendly community of neighbors when we were there.

Amazing!

Truly and amazing condo in a beautiful location. Martha was a phenomenal host and checked in via text with us a couple days after arriving. The condo has absolutely everything you need for a Maui vacation. Beach chairs, umbrella, snorkeling gear, kids beach toys and beach towels. The pool was big, clean and warm! Thank you again, Martha!

Great stay

This is my second stay at Waiohuli Beach Hale. I love the location and the grounds. This property was exactly as described. I appreciate the unscented cleaning products. The bed and pull out couch were both comfortable. The complex is quiet, peaceful and family friendly. The kitchen was well equiped.

This was a nice property and had ample amenities. The only issue and this has nothing to do with the property other than location, was the wind. The wind always blows in north Kehei. The property was clean and very nice. We will definitely look there again. Martha was easy to deal with. Nice lady for sure.

Great location!

Perfect accommodations for a couple! Location is great so no need to rent a car unless you want to explore the island. Walking distance to grocery store, restaurants, and beautiful beach front access. Would definitely recommend water shoes and snorkels to see all the beautiful turtles both sunning themselves on the beach and floating around in the water. Martha was very easy to communicate with and checked in with us to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. We’ll be back!

Location location location

The condo is located on a beautiful, relatively quiet stretch of beach that we thoroughly enjoyed. The pool is also great. Only issue - The condo is not really air-conditioned - two stand-alone units; one in the bedroom works fine but is noisy. We ended up opening the windows and enjoying the breeze through the apartment and were rarely too warm, even being from Alaska. If we did get warm, the AC unit would bring down the temp a bit in the living area.

Every evening take a few short steps to an amazing sunset while you prepare dinner at the outdoor bbque area, complete with multiple grills to accommodate all the new friends you'll meet there.We were there during a very busy whale season and you could see whales breaching and playing in the water right off the coastline of the property.Our host Martha is extremely generous and very kind. Always available and wanting you to have the best experience. We will definitely be back.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The major players of the wedding we were attending were based across the street, so WBH #208 was incredibly convenient. The unit was immaculate, and the property manager responded immediately to an appliance mystery. A mirror wall gave the impression of extra space, and provided additional light. The grounds are gorgeous; it's a short walk to a long sandy beach with snorkel potential. More prosaically, a well-stocked grocery store, several restaurants, and shops are a couple of blocks away. This is a solid ocean-view unit.

Waiohuli Beach Hale B-208 - Very Nice Unit

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We thought B-208 was a very clean and well looked after unit and the management (Martha) was very good to deal with. The beach here is not as nice as those further south and the water is not as clear either. We've been to Maui 2 times now and are finding that we are getting too many negative reactions from some angry (mostly young) locals which is causing us to think perhaps of another location to vacation. (Specifically we heard: "Get off the road!", "Get off the *@!ing road", got the finger from one guy who thought we didn't pull over soon enough to let him by (when there was no place), and worst of all: on a very narrow bit of road around west maui we had a local speed up and drive right at us on our side of the road with the expectation that we would swerve into the rock wall beside us - it was a miracle that he managed to get past us without hitting us or going off the road! The Aloha seems to be diminishing unfortunately.
