We thouroughly enjoyed our stay. The accomodations were perfect. We had a gorgeous yard right at the beach. Lots of other beaches nearby, and many restaurants. Also easy to travel from there around the island. The hot tub and soaking pool were wonderful! Thank you! Love love the motion hula lamp!

My husband and I had a lovely stay here. The property is so well maintained and in a great location in walking distance to a grocery store, restaurants, and such. The back yard is beautiful and perfect for sitting on your own private lanai for coffee in the morning and drinks in the evening. It faces west so you get the best sunset views. Staff was incredibly communicative and kind. The community room has everything you might need, including a fridge of leftover booze from previous tenants that are free for the taking. Highly recommend!

Initially I chose this location for it's central location. But the need to go anywhere was quickly alleviated. We did, it was our first time on the island. But we could've stayed on site the whole time. All of the toys were excellent. Teres was just amazing, always available and even through unforseen complications kept our stay so amazingly comfortable. We are fans for life!! When we travel back, there is only one place we will stay. You should do the same, you will be in awe of the views, convenience, and comfort.

PROS: great communication with owners, easy check in/out, clean, location close to shopping & restaurants, easy beach access, on-site laundry with supplies, well stocked kitchen & bathroom, beautiful sunsets, no bugs, private patio CONS: look at pictures carefully because there is a cut out between the bedroom & kitchen area and also the bathroom walls do not extend to ceiling- so no true privacy, hooks & shower caddy mounted very high in shower OVERALL: Would recommend to others and would stay here again

Our stay was amazing. The one thing I could have mentioned was that our back patio lights were not working and my girlfriend and I wanted to eat dinner outside. But I let our host know and she said she has been trying to get an electrician out to fix the issue and she would do her best to get one out and have it fixed. When we got back that evening they had set up candles for us on the back patio AND the lights were fixed. We enjoyed everything about our stay. THANK YOU!

This condo was in a great location….right on the beach. It’s right in the middle of town and as you go through the gates….your in a tranquil private spot off the road. Best stay for me!

We enjoyed our 6 night stay at Aloha Aku very much. It’s a great location for day trips all over the Island. This location is more than just a home base for vacation. The beach is right outside your door and there is a beautiful sunset over the ocean every night. It is clean and comfortable and the owners and workers are very nice. They had everything we needed including beach chairs, towels and even a cooler. It was wonderful. Next time we come back to Maui we will stay here again! Mahalo!

My wife and I found Ahola AKU to be the perfect little sanctuary for our honeymoon in Maui! The property was beautiful and serene, with easy access to the beach! The amenities were easily accessible and great for anyone who likes be travel independently. We found that being in Kihei was great to access different parts of the island by car, which was great as we loved exploring some of the more out of the way spots. Great (proactive) support from the staff, who were happy make suggestions and point out things we would have otherwise overlooked. Will definitely come back to Aloha AKU for our next visit to Maui!

The location is great, the grounds are lovely, and the unit is up to date. A nice stay with friendly folks on site. As a note to anyone who may be working out of this location - the wifi signal is very spotty. While it said there was strong signal, it could not support a single video call during my week here. The wifi connectivity is stronger, however, in the main common area, if you need it.

My husband and I had the best time in Maui and we couldn’t have picked a better place to stay! Steps away from the beach in Kihei, it was breathtaking...I enjoyed a cup of coffee every morning on the lanai and we watched the beautiful sunset almost every night. This will definitely be the place the stay, when we come back to Maui!

Charlene and Gary’s place was absolute bliss. We were looking for a few days of peace and quiet before joining family on the other side of the island and Aloha Aku more than delivered. The suite was spotless, had every accommodation you could ask for, and more than anything was quiet and tranquil. The beach in front was the perfect place to relax and enjoy sunset. I will be counting the days until we can return for a longer stay. Now that we are at a larger resort with family and large crowds, I am missing this spot sorely! Do not hesitate a minute and book this lovely gem while you can!

We brought our elderly parents, 88 & 79, who have traveled the world, and they were blown away at the spacious the condo, beautiful grounds and private secure location. They felt like royalty with all the extras special touches provided by the owners...we would go back just to eat the homemade banana bread again!

This property is perfect! The owners have thought of everything and the little touches of things, like snack food, access to the laundry, the beach amenities, the library - just simply amazing. The property is very clean, well maintained and the check in directions received make it all work flawlessly. The beach was uncrowded and we enjoyed watching the sunsets right from our patio. We like the small resort feel or private homes and this place completely worked for us. Thank you for allowing us to stay at this fabulous property.

Great place to stay if you like beaches, sunsets and sea turtles! Quiet and great kitchen if you like to cook for yourself. If we end up heading to Maui again, we will for sure consider Aloha Aku, owners and property managers were very nice and helpful, plus all the fun stuff (i..e., paddle boards, kayaks, snorkel great, bikes) is already onsite for you to use. Not top of the line stuff, but it's easy to get and already included. Great place to stay!

What a peaceful and beautiful spot away from the crowds but in close proximity to the essentials. A lovely property with everything you would need. Great communication from the hosts... we arrived at the wrong gate (went too far) and within seconds we were able to connect with them and get turned around. Upon arrive your fridge was stocked with fresh fruit and baked goods!!! Bed was extremely comfortable.... my husband Pat bonded with the geese! Would stay again in a heartbeat!! Thank you!

This was our second visit to Maui and our first visit at Aloha AKU Hula Suite. We absolutely loved everything about our stay!! So private! The suite was exactly as advertised. The beach was quiet, perfect for swimming and sunbathing, paddle boarding and our long morning walks. We really enjoyed the wildlife on the property as well. This will be our place to visit from now on. Loved every bit of it!!❤️

We enjoyed our time here. The room faces the ocean with a great view of the sunset. The common room with useful food items and extras was much appreciated. It’s very handy to walk to restaurants and other services.

My wife and I were here for 6 nights for our honeymoon in early January, 2019. We loved the Hula Suite! The living area, kitchen, and bedroom were spacious. The fridge full of goodies in our suite and shared common area full of a variety of food and drinks was great! The bed was comfortable! The view from our suite was magical! Having an ocean and beach view is amazing in Maui. The beach is great for walks. We loved the jacuzzi too. The location in Kihei can’t be beat with nearby restaurants and stores! We also loved having access to beach chairs, towels, beach equipment, and everything you need to have a good time in Maui! Gary and Charlene have really created a fantastic place for anyone who want to visit Maui!
