This sixth (top) floor oceanfront condo at the Kihei Surfside Resort is located on the sought after ocean side of the elevator, and has a spectacular ocean view from the kitchen, living room, dining area and private lanai. It is one of the larger, 1 bedroom, 1.5 bath units (680 sq ft). The view of the ocean is absolutely breathtaking.

PLEASE NOTE: Bookings in this unit are for 1 or 2 guests only. The unit SLEEPS A MAXIMUM OF 2 PEOPLE ONLY. The unit DOES NOT have a sofa bed in the living room available for guest use. No pets. Minimum 5 night stay. No smoking or vaping in the building or on the lanai.
The brand-new custom kitchen is fully equipped with cream-coloured maple cabinetry, quartz counter tops, brand new LG appliances, including a refrigerator with ice and water on the door, full size range, dishwasher, multi-function microwave oven, and garbage disposal. There is also a variety of small appliances including a coffee maker, toaster, blender, and hand mixer, as well as a large selection of high quality pots and pans, baking pans, knife set, and ample matching dishes, glasses and cutlery.

The flooring throughout is beautiful soft-step coastal eucalyptus luxury vinyl plank.

The living area has a remote controlled Air Conditioner, multi-speed marine-grade ceiling fan, 65” 4K ultra HD smart TV, large area rug, wireless high speed Internet, and telephone with free long-distance calling to the United States and Canada.

The oceanfront dining area has a round rattan glass table with 4 matching rattan armchairs.

The private lanai has a round bistro table with two swivel rocker chairs - a perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee or a romantic oceanfront dinner.

The bedroom has a Cal-King sized bed and is furnished with a brand-new solid mango wood bedroom suite. There is a remote controlled Air Conditioner, multi-speed marine grade ceiling fan, plantation shutters, closet, digital security safe and a 43” 4K ultra HD smart TV.

The master bathroom has a porcelain bathtub with shower (one of only a few units in the building with a tub), a lovely cream coloured solid maple vanity with Corian countertop. The matching half bath has been finished to the same high standard. Both bathrooms have Kohler "silent flush" toilets and new Panasonic 'whisper-quiet' exhaust fans.

This condo is fully equipped with fresh linens and towels, hair dryer, iron/ironing board. All units have beach towels and a cooler. Umbrellas and snorkel gear are NOT supplied, but are often left behind in the units by other guests – no guarantees. The Kihei Surfside office loans out beach chairs free of charge during regular business hours - Monday to Saturday. Office is closed Sundays and Holidays. Coin laundry facilities are available on site.

This unit is equipped with a state of the art Oracode door lock, whereby each guest is issued a unique code which controls the door only during their stay. No keys!

Unit 605 is a beautifully finished, luxury unit in a spectacular location with breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean, beaches, and West Maui Mountains.

The Kihei Surfside Resort is located at 2936 S. Kihei Road, South Kihei at the entrance to beautiful Wailea, with more sun than most other parts of the island. This is a true oceanfront location. It’s a concrete building of 6 floors and 84 units with an elevator. The pool and surrounding deck area underwent a complete renovation during the summer of 2021. During the summer of 2015, the building underwent an extensive makeover including a complete concrete restoration and was painted. Each unit received new windows, doors and railings. There is free parking on site. The resort is a twenty-five minute drive from the Kahului Airport (OGG). Rental cars are available at the airport or in Kihei town. There are also taxis available at the airport, a shuttle bus and public transportation.

Virtually all other properties and resorts in South Kihei are either located on busy South Kihei Rd., or are across the street from the ocean. One special feature of the Kihei Surfside is that it is located at the quiet end of S. Kihei Road, is set back 300 feet from it, AND is located right on the ocean! Many first time Surfside guests say that even though they have visited Kihei many times, they had never seen the resort because it’s set back from the road!

Another unique feature of the property is that we have a 2 acre, immaculately kept oceanfront lawn area with dozens of loungers, a heated swimming pool and deluxe barbecue facilities. In season, there are daily whale sightings from both the grounds and the lanais. In fact, the Pacific Whale Foundation conducts their annual whale count from our property. The building is located at the north end of Keawakapu Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches on Maui (voted Maui's most romantic), where you can walk for miles past some of the most expensive oceanfront homes on the island and the luxurious hotels of Wailea.
