Great location. Direct view of the ocean from the patio and also from the edge of the living room. Being a corner unit, you get a panoramic view of mountains and ocean. The owners have taken care of small things like beach chairs, boogie boards, beach umbrella, etc. They even extended the check out time till 6pm because nobody was checking in that evening.
Community is well managed. There is a huge grass lawn between the building and the ocean, almost like a private patio, green like a golf course. There are plenty of lounge chairs in the lawn and you can sit on the edge of the water relaxing on the chair for most relaxing sunset view. The community has taken care of small little things like coffee in the morning in the lawn, bocce balls, books, DVDs.
Minor nickpicks but no fault of the property owners: Sunset is blocked by the Lanai island unlike from Kaanapali. Patio does not face the ocean directly although it still has great ocean view. Units ending in 01 (101, 201, etc.) possibly have better ocean view. Sand beach is behind the other building next door, so it needs 5 min walk.
Minor fixes I wish they address: The main door to the unit needs needs lot of force to open/close. The shower arm does not stay in place. And yes, leaving a couple of extra bath tissue rolls wouldn't hurt, for a week long stay. Stocking little packs of salt, pepper, sugar ketchup etc. would go a long way in making the stay a litlte more convenient.
