Spectacular view! We really enjoyed walking just a few short steps to the beach and the close proximity to everything in Kihei. Kitchen was well appointed. Did I mention the view?! Only thing that could make this unit better is AC. We will be back!

Perfect location and beautiful beach. We explored all of Maui and were always happy to get back to our perfect little spot! Having snorkel equipment, beach chairs, beach towels, and a cooler helped make our stay wonderful. The breeze coming in through the balcony made not having air conditioning a non issue. The absolutely beautiful view never got old and we loved seeing all the locals and dogs come over at night to watch the sunset!

Stayed for our honeymoon. Zero complaints and so happy we chose this over a resort. Had all the amenities without all the crowds. Lord willing we can come back for an anniversary some day!

Fantastic location and view

We generally stay at the Wailea Ekahi Village about 20 minutes walk along Keawakpu Beach south of the Kihei Surfside when we are in south Maui. Very pleasantly surprised at the beautiful view, lush green lawn, good snorkeling, proximity to beach and amenities. Will definitely stay at the Kihei Surfside again.

Amazing Views

We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely book in the future. Unit was clean and comfortable the grounds and pool well maintained. Staff was friendly and attentive. The views are amazing and the complex was quiet so we could enjoy the sound of the ocean. We would highly recommend this unit! Mahalo nui loa!

Wonderful stay- highly recommend!

This condo/property was everything we could have asked for. Clean, easy check-in, accurate listing description, incredible views, spacious, the list goes on. Located in great area and the property (beach, grass, pathways, and pool) were all well-maintained and very nice. Property has a path to a secluded little area where the sea turtles like to rest-- that was a highlight! Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Condo, views and quality furniture

Great location, excellent ocean views, beautiful furniture. Loved having the two bathrooms. Unit would receive 4 Stars if it had A/C. Fans and open doors help but still a little toasty.

Amazing Views!

Kihei Surfside is in the perfect location, close to a lot of beaches, places to eat and shop in Kihei. The Wailea resort area is only a few minutes drive away. The property is oceanfront, all condos have an ocean view. And it is less than a 5 minute walk down a pathway to Keawakapu beach, a long stretch of beautiful beach. It's a big beach so it never felt crowded. This unit is perfectly situated for sunset views from the lanai. I would definitely recommend staying on the higher floors (4th & above and on the side closest to the ocean (lower unit numbers -05 or lower) for the best views. This unit was clean and comfortable, a great home away from home. There was even a welcome tray with some snacks and beverages which was a nice touch! I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

Holy Amazing Discoveries, Batman!

This place has a fantastic west-facing view for incredible sunsets! It's right on the water, and perfect for two people. Or even potentially three or four, since there are two toilets, two sinks (one full size shower), and a fold-out sofa-bed in the living room. My fiancé and I slept on on the fold-out one night just to listen to the waves. Other nights, we slept on the big, comfy, king-sized bed. From the building, you can walk about 20 yards to the south to a warm, public sand beach. While we were swimming there, a giant sea turtle swam by us! You won't likely find a better price for the caliber of location on Maui. It doesn't have A/C or a jacuzzi, but who cares? You can just open the big sliding glass lanai doors and window, and let the trade winds cool you down. There's also a sparkling clean swimming pool with communal gas BBQs next to it, and a big beautiful lawn with palm trees and plenty of chairs for sunset-gazing. Other amenities include a fully equipped kitchen, two TV sets (one living room, one bedroom), zippy WiFi, and parking right in front of the building. There's on-site coin-op laundry, garbage and recycling, and a small book library. There's also an 808 Market/Deli in the building across the street, very handy for munchies and sundries. Lots of snorkeling tours leave from the Kihei boat ramp, and you can pretty much walk to the ramp from this building. It's also a very short drive into Kihei or Wailea. Can't wait to return!

Amazing views, great location

The Surfside Kihei is a six story building located right on the water on the south end of Kihei, close to Wailea. The complex is well maintained, with a spectacular ocean views and an easy walk to the beach. There's also a nice pool and BBQ area that are immaculately maintained. The biggest downside is that the property was noisier than we expected. Evidently May - Sept is the "low season" on Maui and that's when the condo allows owners to renovate their units. Some days it was quite loud cat times with noise from saws, drills, fork lifts, hammering and general construction noise. If you're sensitive to sounds and want a quiet, serene setting, be aware this complex is rather loud, at least May - Sept. Having said that, the unit is beautiful, the sunset views are amazing, and the beach and snorkeling are fabulous.

Amazing view from the balcony and great location.

My husband and I had a great stay. View from the balcony is beautiful, and the resort area is very nice. Place was very clean and has good furnishings. Walking distance to beautiful beach and secluded from busier places nearby. Only thing to keep in mind is no AC currently, but not really needed in Maui!

Anniversary trip

We enjoyed the location very much. Beautiful view, turtles everywhere and the park was a joy. Our only complaint is the mattress needs an upgrade. We would stay again in a heartbeat.

Kihei surfside aug 1st 2022

This VRBO was very accurately described and depicted. I would say it is everything they advertise. It's very clean and an excellent view from suite 404. The suite is very well appointed with enough pots and pans and dishes and snorkeling snorkeling and boogie boarding and even instead of golf clubs for your use you're used. There's some Beach shells and beach chairs as well, Parking was easy and we always had a spot. Our family had a great time and we would recommend this place to Anyone.

Oceanfront - Steps to Kamaole Beach III

Amazing location, incredible views!!! Cute place, king bed and pullout sofa were perfect for our family of 3. The views and hearing the waves crashing onshore make this place really special. Larry’s place is comfortable, well stocked and the extra 1/2 bath made it a win traveling w our teenage daughter. Sunset BBQ dinners and the oceanfront pool makes this place SO much better than the upscale hotels and restaurants just down the road in Wailea. The Yoga Studio next door offered morning class on the beach - bonus! Kam 3 Beach is wide with the softest sand and fairly uncrowded. Beach chairs, cooler, snorkel gear and boogie boards plus lots of other games, and useful things to have on vacation were much appreciated. We’d love to book again, when we come back to Maui. Thanks, Larry!
