Perfect place to stay

This location is flawless. Sunset every night, beautiful grounds, and turtles resting. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to come to Maui. Great location, quiet, yet near many food and beach options.

Beautiful and homely appartment in Kihei

Overall it was great, the apartment had everything we needed, the bed was good. All in all a great experience.The sofa is becoming a bit too slumpy, my wife and I both agreed that you fall too much down in. But that is a minor thing :-)

Great location. Very clean. Kitchen was well appointed, and it was helpful to have access to the barbeque. The bed really needs to be replaced, and air conditioning would have been welcome. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves very much.

Maui Spring Break

Perfect for a few people to stay and proximity to ocean is amazing. Amenities to cook and grill near the ocean was nice. Beach towels and snorkeling gear was a nice addition too. Would recommend staying there, view from balcony overlooking the ocean was truly beautiful. Watched whales right from the balcony with binoculars that were included.

Very nice location

The condo at Kihei Surfside was just as described. We loved the Balcony, you call lanai, from there we were able to view whales and the ocean roar. Having meals there and got wonderful views of the sunset and sunrise. Location was great being central in the island. This allowed us to do various activities within driving distance and of course being right on the beach was a major plus. We would stay there again and give it a thumbs up👍

Views from oceanfront property

Overall was a great experience. No fault to the property but my own overlooking when booking, there is no AC at this property but had ample fans. However, this does lead to a bit muggy feeling and found mold through bathroom drains and difficult to drain the water in our unit. Bit outdated furnishings and cushions. Best part was all the extras supplied at the unit (ie, coolers, beach towels, scuba gear, binoculars)! Would still recommend if you’re mostly traveling out and about during the daytime and don’t mind the bathroom condition.

Really nice but...

The property has a fantastic location with excellent quality furnishings and finish. Location is steps from beach, pool is nice. The 'but' is 1) the unit has a mouse/mice as we had frequent sightings. Could come in under front door as a large gap exists. 2) check in was odd as I didn't get the email with door code in time but got help. 3). Unit was well into the 90 degrees when arrived. The blinds all open, no wind that day so never got below mid eightys at night first night, no sleep.

Beautiful Views and Nice Ocean Breeze

We enjoyed staying in this property! The views are stunning, the condo is very clean and is just as pictured. We had a great experience checking in and the property manager had excellent communication with us. This condo does not have AC however, there is a great breeze through all the open windows and doors. Beautiful beach just a minute walk and the pool is great too. There is a large grassy area to watch the sunset and we would have loved to use the grill too! We would stay again in a heartbeat!

Maui for the first time

Wonderful condo! Tastefully decorated with a well appointed kitchen. The view from the lani is amazing. The sunsets and a well timed full moon set capped it off. Beautiful views

My wife and I recently spent the end of a 2 week trip celebrating our tenth anniversary in Hawaii at this wonderful property. It was well furnished and clean upon arrival with everything one would need as a home away from home. Furnishings were all well kept and the bed was large and comfortable. The unit is not air conditioned(common for Hawaii) but the ocean breeze and large screened windows made that a non-issue. Pictures can't capture the beautiful views of the sunset over the bay and the whales which seemed to be everywhere during our trip(binoculars provided). Beaches are a very short walk away with a good reef for snorkeling. We would definitely recommend this property to others and would gladly stay there again ourselves.

Kihei Surfside wonderful stay

We have stayed in 3 different units at KS and seen many more. This was our favorite so far. Proximity to the water is nice for the view from the unit. As always, the beach and pool are fantastic.

Great if you don’t need reliable wifi

The place was clean and Larry was very accommodating but we had a few hiccups that made our stay less enjoyable. The first day we got to the property, the surge protector was not working in the living room and we couldn’t use any electronics until late the following day including the modem and router. In the following days, we experienced periodic disruption with the Wifi. I’m working remotely and that was fundamental to why I picked this place. A spectrum worker had to come in to check the problem and it seems like the construction was obstructing the connectivity. This information was not conveyed to us before booking. To make things more irritating, At one point, the on site manager stopped replying to my message. The most upsetting part was the lack of communication. If I had known that there were wifi issues, I could have gone to a coffee shop to finish my work and wouldn’t have disrupt my work. One of the maintenance guys said that this was a recurring issue, so they were aware that this was an ongoing issue. Despite the construction work, the view was still great and the surroundings of the location was laid back.

Amazing Property- Diligent Management

The property was as advertised and phenomenal. We woke every day looking into the water and the island in the distance. The mirror in the unit added more dimension to the view, and the lanai was fantastic. The unit was clean, modern, and amazing. Also, Larry was on top of things for us, including a change that was unforseen and handling it promptly, and never leaving me wondering what to do or not do during our stay. Very happy.
