Great place to stay!! Excellent location. Few steps away from Night heron where all the activity is and right on the bike path! We have been going to Kiawah for years and probably one of the best locations especially if you have children. Place was clean.

Definitely not worth 500 night. Tons of cobwebs in porch, more like cabin on the woods. Needs further updating. Floor needs replacing, soft spots throughout house

Awesome Time at Parkside Villa!!

Our Parkside Villa was very comfortable and clean. Perfect location, near Night Heron Park where there was always fun, FREE, activities for kids and adults, as well as The Nest, a very cool little market right there, too. The beach was only a 6-7 minute walk, or 2 minutes by bike. The villa had all the amenities we needed and then some. Everyone was so friendly and laid back. We will definitely be back!! Thank you to the itrip hosts for making everything so easy!!

A great stay

This villa is perfect for a couple, two friends, or a small family. It's very attractively furnished with nice linens, comfortable beds, and everything necessary for a great stay. It's well-maintained and spotlessly clean. The location is ideal since it borders Night Heron Park, and it's only a short walk to the Nest, the beach, and ponds where one can see alligators and water birds - perfect! The drive to Freshfields is very quick which makes dining and shopping very convenient. I've stayed in this villa many times previously, and the new owners have continued the former high standards of a lovely place and excellent, friendly communication. I highly recommend it and plan to come back next year!

Too many bugs in unit

Too many bugs mostly flying ants that come out of the vents at night. The whole time we were there they swarmed at night. Kids had a meltdown and left to stay with friends in the same complex with no bugs. Owners were aware of infestation but did not pass that knowledge along to renters. Very poor and left early. A very poor representation for VBRO.

Kiawah Vacation Soured

Pro- we love Kiawah island and have been before and were excited for this trip. Con- The apartment- no blinds on the large sliders. Found some dead ants and toilet paper on the bed. Management- We have been really looking to getting away with our dog and enjoying this beautiful area but it was challenging to get into this mindset. My husband and I were appalled by the unwillingness of this management company to work with us on either receiving a refund or rescheduling our trip. We are from the Asheville, NC area which was just devastated by Hurricane Helene on September 27th. It took over a week for our power to return and even longer for stable cell service in which this company informed me that I should have contacted them sooner to reschedule or receive a refund. To reiterate- we did not have power or reliable cell service to do this due to hurricane devastating our area. To add insult to injury- they wished us safe travels to Kiawah Island even though I asked to cancel our trip. They offered dates to reschedule that was one week later and the middle of the week in November. They refused to offer me any dates beyond that. So unfortunately we had no choice but to travel and go on this trip. Originally this weekend was chosen because my husband had off on Monday, but due to the storm, was now required to return to work on Monday and this company refused to even refund us for ONE NIGHT. I hope this company can take this review and really reflect on their policies.
