Very nice condo! We really liked the layout and loved having 3 private balconies. There were handy hooks, a counter and a bench to place our things on as we came on went. Everything was fresh and new, including all of the furnishings. The appliances seemed new as well. Kitchen was well equipped, which is important to us, as we like to cook vs eating out all the time. Be sure to bring foil and plastic wrap or plastic containers for leftovers. It would have been nice to have a view of the ocean since it does face in that direction, but it was not far to walk to the beach. The only improvement I would suggest is to check the oven, as it seemed to take forever to warm up to the intended temperature. We’re not sure if this was intentional due to wiring limitations, or just an unfortunate feature of the oven.

great lication and perfect for my parent w mobility issues. Happy the King bedroom & bathroom was able to accommodate her needs. A few hiccups getting check in directions but it was resolved. Prompt attention to one issue re wasps which was appreciated. Had everything we needed in kitchen

Not the greatest experience

Our first impression was not great as we had just flown across the country with our three kids only to show up and not have access to the unit. We got there around 5:30 PM with all of our luggage, our crib rental sitting outside our door (as this unit does not provide) and an order of groceries, only to realize we had never been sent check-in instructions.I tried calling their number multiple times and messaging them and couldn’t get a hold of anyone except for an out of the country answering service. The answering service had no idea what the code was to get into the unit and kept having me try multiple random codes that didn’t work. Finally around 8 PM, someone from Sweet Grass called me back and gave me the correct code. Instead of apologizing for the issue, he insisted that they did send check-in instructions. I checked all of my inboxes, including the spam folder going back from the date we booked the unit and found nothing. And there were no check-in instructions in the app either. The check-in instructions were then sent to me at 8:15 pm that night. No apologies ever from the company.The unit itself is cute and a great location being on the ground floor and close to the beach. It’s a little worn though and could really use some fresh paint and flooring, but the decor itself is cute. Garbage disposal in the kitchen does not work and the primary bedroom shower water takes about 10 minutes to heat up. Also, they only provide two flimsy beach towels.

Kiawah is a beautiful place

This was our first visit to Kiawah Island and it is meticulously manicured and lovely! This condo is well decorated (looks like pictures) and worked well for 3 of us - six would be a little crowded I think. Everything was clean and worked, but the kitchen needs updated!! We usually only eat breakfast in when we are at a VRBO, but the pans and accoutrements are dated and not in great shape. There was complimentary coffee, but no filters....little things that make the difference when you are paying over 300 a night. Note: this is a lovely corner unit, but it is not sound-proof. In spite of the minor hiccups, the condo is right behind the dunes and fairly convenient to a host of amenities so we gave it a 4.

Kiawah relaxed

Condo is well equipped and sized fits 4 good any more would be very tight in den, dining, and kitchen. Since on 1st floor there is no view even though oceanfront. Walk to beach is an easy walk down boardwalks. Only issue we had was the master shower is complicated to turn on, had to call and were given instructions. After 1 shower could not get hot water, didn’t call it in though, just used other bath,

Don't Rent Properties in a Construction Site

Kiawah is great. The apartment is nice but this unit should not have been rented with heavy construction going on around it. the unit was in the middle of a heavy construction project. It is unprofessional and irresponsible for you to have rented this unit. Shame on you.

Clean and comfortable

Beautiful beach just steps away with plenty of sand toys available for the grandkids. Also games, puzzles and cards were available. The unit was clean and well stocked. We only needed to purchase paper products. We did not use the kitchen for cooking but it looked well stocked. The beds and pillows were very comfortable with plenty of extra blankets should you need them. Decks were too narrow to be comfortable. We will definitely be back

LOVED OUR STAY!!

Great modern very clean beach themed condo! Though oceanfront....ocean is not visible from unit. Kitchen area is small; however, lots of fun (beach themed) serving pieces and plenty of glassware, dishes, etc. We really loved sitting out at the patio high top table with coffee in morning and wine at night....very private with pretty lawn view. The unit is close to gate entrance which made on/off island convenient. Bike racks in front which were great and bike path was close. Steps from beach on private boardwalk. Unit provides one dishwasher pod and they ask that you run dishwasher prior to leaving so if using dishwasher during stay on other days you need to bring or buy more pods. That would have been helpful to know prior! Would definitely rent again!

The villa was very nice and the location would be lovely, however we were disappointed with our rental. The entire week we had workers working witching a few units of our villa. The noise was very loud and there was a lot of machinery and equipment right outside of our unit. On Friday we had men on our patio building a scaffolding. Again this was very disappointing that our renter never gave us any indication that our privacy would be invaded. Especially given the high cost for the rental. We called the property managers and emailed, as well. As far as we know nothing will be done. We have rented through VRBO many times in the past, but because of this last weeks experience we may not rent again.
