Great neighborhood

We love this area of Keystone and enjoyed riding our bikes to the village. The garage makes storing bikes convenient. Three bedrooms was also a plus and the home was very clean. The hot tub is also very close to the home. Overall we would definitely stay here again!

Much needed getaway

This property was just as described and pictured. We loved our stay and would book again. The only suggestion would be some sort of sun filtering coverings over the living room area as the afternoon sun is both blinding and hot.

Keystone condo

Very nice property. The only suggestion would be shades in the den as sunshine is intense in the late afternoons. Overall a very nice place I would consider again. Just down the street to the lifts and bus stop is close if you don't want to use auto's.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Ther place is very nice. My only complaint would be that the master bed was extremely hard. My wife could sleep on the bed, so she had to sleep with the kids. there beds were nice and soft. Strange why this was the case.

I had thought the master suite was on the main level (must have gotten confused while I was shopping places) but all the bedrooms are upstairs. Good storage, amenities in the kitchen were useful, back deck overlooks the hot tub area with trees and birds- it was relaxing and enjoyable.

Ski Tip Townhome Summer Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The townhouse was a great location and size for our family of 5! Walkable to River Run village and very quiet. The pantry was a nice surprise, usually we don't get that in a vacation rental! The one complaint is that the bed in the master bedroom was very firm and was not a sleep number as advertised in the portal. We actually didn't sleep well because of how firm the bed was and ended up sore each morning. We'd be likely to rent this townhome again if the mattress were replaced.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The overall stay went well okay. We usually book through Summit County Mountain Retreats, but this time the staff was very unresponsive. This is definitely new because we've never had a problem with this in the past. We had a few issues that nobody ever called us back on. The property itself was not very stocked and there were quite a few things broken that we took pictures of just to be safe. The location was convenient to go skiing and the layout of the property worked well for our party.

Great location by River Run & plenty of space

Our family of 5 (including three teenagers) stayed at the townhome for Spring Break the third week of March. It is just down the street from River Run at Keystone. You can catch a free shuttle to ski. Or, if you go early enough in the day, you can drive and park for free in the main parking lot.The location also makes it easy to explore other areas of Summit County.There were a few areas that needed some deeper cleaning, but overall the property was clean and in good shape. There were also a few minor maintenance issues, but they didn’t affect our stay and the management company was very responsive.The kitchen has basic supplies-enough for making breakfast or some basic meals. The 3 bathrooms were very nice to have. We all took showers in the morning and didn’t run out of hot water.The bed in the master is pretty firm. The other beds were average firmness.If you have more than one vehicle, parking can be a challenge. Plan to park one vehicle in the garage. We parked our XT6 with a rooftop carrier in the garage with plenty of room. If you have a larger SUV like a Surbuban, it may not fit and you may need to park in one of the three spaces in the pod or just slightly down the road.The shared hot tub area is next door. It’s a good size and it was clean.If we come back to the Keystone area we would stay here again.

We'll never rent from Summit County Mountain Retreats again.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this specific unit because the hot tub was right behind it. We were notified 16 days before check in that the hot tub would be closed for maintenance. I called & asked if we could be moved to another unit or property with a hot tub in walking distance. We were even willing to pay more, & she asked for 24-48 hours to see what she could do. When I called back, a young man told me that they won't change reservations within the 30 day window of check in. He acknowledged that they only told us 16 days prior to check in but told us- it is what it is. I asked if we could get a discount or credit since this was why we picked this unit & he said no. We were stuck with it & instead we could drive 5 minutes away to another property's hot tub. When we got there the wifi info was incorrect. They didn't get back to us until mid morning the next day. There's no garage door opener. The floors & living room furniture were filthy. We had to wear socks & shoes so the bottoms of our feet wouldn't turn black. The sofa arms were filthy & the overall furniture needs cleaning. The master bed was clean, however it was like sleeping on a brick wrapped with an egg crate. The pillows were so lumpy & worn out we had to take pillows off of another bed. The last day we decided to pack up our stuff to drive to the hot tub 5 minutes down the road at the Dakota. Other than "go use the hot tub at the Dakota" we were not given any other instructions. When we got there, we couldn't get in. A key card was required & there weren't any key cards at our rental. We called and they said they would have a card over to us within 30 minutes. We waited over an hour and no one showed. We went home to shower and someone came into our rental while we were upstairs showering and left the key cards. It was very clear we were home and I cannot believe someone just walked in. They didn't knock or even call us. We didn't know until we saw them!! Unacceptable!!

Spacious Home in Keystone

My family of four, including my 2 teenage children, spent 2 weeks here and enjoyed every minute of it. House was roomy and exactly as pictured. Property Management was very responsive to my needs. City Market and other stores are about a 10 minute drive from the home. Thoroughly enjoyed our time here and think it could be even better if: 1) The kitchen supplies/utensils were more robust. While the house does come stocked with the usual pots, plates, and flatware, it is limited in the number of pots and matching lids, could benefit from a toaster oven (has a toaster) and additional flatware. 2) Also would like to have had a swifter wet/dry mop made available, especially for those with extended stay. The front of the house is gravel and while we removed our shoes once inside the house, the floors tend to get dusty fast, especially since we kept our windows opens during the day. 3) renters could control the heating system. While we turned the heat down to as low as it could go, invariably, the heat somehow always run at night. Overall, we enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend to our friends and family. If we return to Keystone, we would rent this place again.

Reviewer Comments: Hi, 8 of us stayed in this condo and it was a very comfortable amount of space with great access to the mountain as well as hot tub etc. The biggest issues we had were related to the kitchen. The fridge would only keep things at room temperature no matter what setting we put it on and the oven was smoking extensively when it was on. Maintenance came out and told us the whole oven would need to be replaced so we definltey had to change our meal plans around. Once those things are fixed i would definitely stay here again!

What really made things exceptional was the high level of service and attentiveness of the management staff. We have stayed in Keystone many times and for the most part we don’t have any interactions with management. However, this company uses some cool tools like a mobile app and a texting system which allowed us to interact with them quickly and easily. We were surprised that even at 10 pm a staff member responded to our text.

Great stay!

We loved the condo! Loved the living room and all the light from the windows! (Just wished there were window treatments for nighttime as it felt cold, not homey). Location was perfect since we had a car. All 4 of us thought the beds were too hard. We found a sleep number type remote for king bed but it didn’t not change the firmness. Also, the ice at the front porch was scary.

Perfect for Families

We shared this property with another family, in total there were 4 adults and 4 kids. The space was perfect. There was much more storage than you usually find in a VRBO (hooks, drawers, bathroom shelving), which was very helpful. The location was also ideal, as it was an easy 5 minute walk to the shuttle.
