The only positive thing about this property was that it was on the water. When I arrived, the toilet didn't work, the water didn't work, and there was no toilet paper. Multiple calls to the owner and Expedia/VRBO resulted in the owner's father coming over 5 hours later, trying to fix the toilet, providing toilet paper, and filling the water tank. He worked on fixing things for several hours. I left early the next day and, after multiple calls to VRBO, got a full refund. I wouldn't recommend this listing to anyone.

Never was able to stay.. couldn't get ahold of anyone. Drove over 6 hours to stay here...called numberous times. No answer One person i finally did said boat is down and i nees to call and get refund. Amd hung up.We were on time and actuall waited for over hour. No response from either number. Even asked the marina and other bussiness if they had a number and no one did. Try finding a place on a friday evening .. basically ruined my 10 year anniversary. All due to poor contacts and commicatio

This was a perfectly unique and special experience. Matt was amazing to work with for arrival and departure. Timely and exactly as Liam said everything would be. They put special touches on the stay, ice bucket, two waters, beach towels, our name on a cute sign, a cooler, extra covers and everything you need for a Glamping stay on the water! Camping at its best! We definitely plan to come back and will recommend this stay to our friends. This is perfect for outdoor lovers and adventurous people who like the open air and nature visits.

Amazing 2 nights on a beautiful house boat

The ideal getaway, I brought a grill and a pan and did all the cooking outside on the deck. Took paddle boards through mangrove tunnels and saw tons of fish. Had a baby sea turtle swim up to the boat.

Adventure

Check in process was as easy as it gets! Liam met us at the marina, helped us load our bags onto their boat and shuttled us to the houseboat. The kayak we needed was there waiting on us. The houseboat itself is extremely beautiful, wonderful views and relatively quiet. I’m already planning another vacation to stay here again.

Unique, Quiet Experience

I didn’t really know what I was getting into, but I’m glad I didn’t cancel. This was such a beautiful experience to have shared with just myself. The bed was comfortable and I slept really well both nights. The second night, I had to rent a kayak from the marina (40) to get to the house. It was a beautiful sunset paddle. It’s easy enough, but even as an experienced paddler, it’s about 20 minutes . I had to leave around 5am to catch my flight and paddled back to the marina in pitch black. It was cool to see the fish jumping and the cranes wading around. I highly recommend this place, just make sure you know what you’re getting into. It’s off grid, no refrigerator. But there’s running water and a toilet that’s easy enough to figure out. 10/10.

We used our paddle boards to get back to the docks to uber around town. We also were able to pick up a pizza at the ocean wall! It was an amazing way to visit Key West! Very peaceful! Great Location! Definite ocean front! Can’t get any closer! Wonderful experience! Absolutely would do it again!
