Condo is in a good location. Located on Duvall a short walk to the southernmost point. There is a nice pool in the complex. This particular unit could use a little updating, but the beds were comfortable. Enjoyed having a washer and dryer in the unit, and the private patio.

The property is really nice and in a great location - we walked everywhere! My only issue was that when we went to check in, there was no one at the rental office and it was frustrating. Despite the check in instructions saying the office would be open from 9 am to 5 pm, no one was there and it was some effort to get a hold of someone who could help us. A more detailed sign on the door, or a text to the people who would be checking in that day, would have gone a long way.

Excellent location, good condo

The location of this condo couldn't be better as it was steps from Duval St but on the quieter end. The condo was accurately listed, clean, and had a good amount of supplies to last for our trip. The only issue we had with the condo was the lack of AC that made it's way upstairs in the unit. Downstairs stayed cool but upstairs was pretty warm and seems like it would be unbearable if the weather had been much hotter. There were fans provided but it wasn't quite enough with daytime temps around 80. The pool is quite small but really nice to have and clean. Parking was great. Overall I'd stay again but only in cooler weather.

Heart of Key West

This condo is perfectly situated on Duval St. between the attractions of S. Duval, with the Southern Most Point and N. Duval, with bars, shops, and Mallory Square Sunset Celebration, with everything in between. The restaurants directly below the condo were excellent for any meal of the day. The condo itself is well-equipped and very clean. The primary bedroom has a great balcony as is the balcony off the living room area, giving lots of spaces to spread out if you are traveling with two couples. To make your check-in process easier, read everything they send you BEFORE getting into Key West. The condo is located above an entertainment center and you will need to go a short distance down the street to pick up keys to the parking garage gates to get into the complex. It seemed very complicated at first, especially at the end of a long day bar-hopping down the overseas highway, but we finally figured it out and were rewarded with a beautiful stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location

Property was as advertised, the pool, secure parking, and laundry are a game changer. Second bathroom is tight but serviceable. Definitely more on the quiet side. Recommendations: Key West Cuban Coffee cortadito is the best coffee on the island with incredible service. And right around the corner on Truman. Mr Zs - don’t skip the cheesesteak. The pool area is a great place for people watching.

Great location on Duval

Enjoyed our stay on Duval Street... location was perfect. Close to the action on Duval but far enough away from the noise and bars. Property was very comfortable for us and our 2 friends. The garage parking was secure and convenient. Loved the nearby restaurants.

Sad visit to Key West

While @ property, 2nd bedroom door locked from both inside and outside. We managed to get it open using credit card. Ice maker on door stopped working hours after being there. Doors on frig and freezer were uneven which could have been reason icemaker on door stopped working. They lock AC so you cannot turn down and it took a day to cool place down. Floors in bathrooms in corners and underneath vanities did not appear clean. Apparent leak from prior visit over sink in kitchen. Community pool, which was recently painted around it, was peeling paint and sticking to my husband and cousin arms. Maintenance working on other condo's continually left door unsecure at the end of the day. I reported several of these things the Friday before we left. I then got an email from Avantstay accusing me of breaking the ice bin and damaging the wall behind the fridge. They billed my credit card. I have contacted them several times via email and telephone with no luck.I would not recommend using this company Avantstay.

Relaxing Get Away in Key West

The unit was roomy, attractive, sparkling clean, with many amenities, comfortable beds, good air conditioning, and a well stocked kitchen. The rental staff was super friendly and helpful. AvantStay provided welcome gifts such as sunscreen, cooshies, and even sunglasses and a baseball cap. The location just a block off of Upper Duval was ideal and so convenient for exploring the city and visiting the tourist locations....it is within easy walking distance of shopping and dining on Duval Street, the Hemingway House, the Lighthouse Museum, and even the Southernmost Point. It is so close to Duval, and yet very quiet and private. There was protected parking for our car. We drove in and parked, and didn't use our car for the rest of the week. We walked everywhere, even with the extreme heat in Key West the week we were there. The only points that were less than ideal about the unit....our balcony was quite small and overlooked a not very attractive parking lot, which you cannot tell from the publicity photo....so it was not conducive to sitting out to enjoy a pretty view. And while there is a pool for the complex, it is very small and not really inviting for swimming. Those would be my only two complaints. If I booked there again, I would ensure the unit I rented was across the way, overlooking Duval Street itself. Kudos to AvantStay though for being excellent hosts.

Great place to stay

Family Vacation

We had a great time. The Avantstay staff was very nice and helpful. The only thing I would say is it might be time to update furniture and some bathrooms as the decor is old and getting dated.

Awesome Place

Took a famiky vacation for my husbands 50th birthday. Booked a condo for the family to stay together through Avant Stay. The place was awesome and the interactions we had with management was great!! Would definitely book through them in the future
