Overall it was good, this is an old Florida home. The basic amenities, but the location is great! It is 5 minutes walking from the Southernmost point and right off of Duval. Minor repairs would make the place even better!

Great location

The house was very clean when we checked in, AC working, the hot tub was nice and clean also The outdoor table provides nice space for meals The bathrooms were clean no mold like other people commented before We cooked breakfast there is an electric burner The property itself is nothing fancy is a clean nice place to spend the night, not enough space if you’re coming with family and kids The setting is more for adults overall we had a nice stay communication was great Thank you for having us

Older cottage needs upgrades , scraping and paint, rust removal from hinges on cabinet doors in bathrooms, rods to open blinds on windows 4 of them, mold on tile in corner of bath in back. Back deck was nice but had not been blown and leaves came on our shoes.

Great House, Great Location

If you are looking for a plush, all new, modern home, then keep looking... BUT, if you are looking for a comfortable, clean, and conveniently updated vacation rental, THEN THIS IS YOUR PLACE. The beds were comfortable, pillows were full and soft, ceiling fans a plus, sheets and towels fresh and white, all necessary amenities in full working order and a stocked kitchen if you want to do light cooking on the stove top (may need to contact host for instructions.) Plenty of TP, extra paper towels, dish soap, and bathroom toiletries to get you started. The location, even though right at the corner of Duval, was quiet (end of January 2025). The Hot Tub Spa has been replaced (since older reviews of non-working issues) which was a nice way to relax at home. The back patio and front porch swing offered additional comfortable spots to relax and enjoy the beautiful weather. We rented a mini-van for our stay which tucked nicely in the parking space in front of the home. Prior to our visit I inquired whether the couch was a pull-out sofa and was told it wasn't; however, it did appear to be a pull-out, although we didn't use it or attempt to open it. We had a great time in Key West and would definitely rent this home again!

Old house was unhappy

Second time stay with Vacasa, and second time super unhappy. House super old and also old furniture in it. Towels in the bathroom was dirty, some different color. Hot tube was not working and smells bad. Wanted to use it, but decided not to risk with our health. The only positive point was the location.Otherwise I cannot recommend this house. These guys even decided not to put any bottles of water. Overall this guys just doing business, they are not customer oriented and I believe it is Vacasa view of making this business .

Nice get-away for 2 Moms and 4 College Students

My sister and I rented the place for ourselves and our 4 young adult kids (ranging from 18-21), and we had a very nice time. The AC is not really "central", has free-standing units in 2 of the bedrooms that vent outside, but they are well installed and do the trick, if a bit tricky to regulate the temperature correctly initially. The place is a typical Key West bungalow that feels like some shoeboxes were nailed together, and the back yard is even smaller than expected. Location is great, we did tons of touristy stuff. Having been to Key West previously, met my expectations. 10/10 would rent again, this can absolutely compete with any other typical Key West rental, but it's not posh like a hotel would be.

Great Location, Poor Everything Else

Excellent location. No water pressure in back bathroom shower and unusable kitchen. The furniture, including the beds, were unbelievably uncomfortable to the point of mostly not being able to lounge at all in the house itself. The hot tub was 50% functional. Generally not a nice house considering the cost. I’d recommend finding somewhere much nicer a little further out for the same price or less.

Great House / Terrible Property Manager

Great house, location and was very clean. The stove did not work, and I was promised a replacement stove which was never delivered. I called every day that we were there and spoke to numerous people who always promised me a call back with an update, but no one ever called back. Still waiting for a call to discuss a satisfactory resolution.

Great Location, but needs a Renovation

The location of this property was perfect! Just steps off of Duval Street, we could walk to everything! Easy, remote check in was very convenient. The place is cramped, but laid out well, and the hot tub was a treat. Small space for our car was appreciated. However, there clearly has been no reinvestment in this cottage for a long time. The floors are worn and dirty, as are the moldings and woodwork. The back deck is filthy, same with the window awnings. A little power washing would go a long way here. The place needs a facelift - redo the wood floors, update the furniture, replace the ancient TV, add some small dressers to the bedrooms (there were hangers, but no where else to put clothes). Update bathrooms towels. At $8,500 for the week, this property did not meet our expectations.

Beachy/Rustic Cottage in heart of Duval

Our short, but sweet stay was excellent! The property location is excellent and within walking distance to almost everything in the heart of Key West. The property itself, while small was a very rustic/authentic beach vibe and VERY clean and comfortable. We stayed two nights and had no issues. Love that they had three rooms with king beds, even though the house is relatively small. The room in the back can be closed off by a hallway door that limits noise from the little living room area off the front door which was nice. While the cottage is 'dated' in terms of the bathrooms, water pressure, etc. the listing was incredibly accurate and we were looking for this type/level of stay so it was absolutely perfect. You can park a vehicle parallel right in front as long as it is not too large, otherwise given we had two vehicles there was actually a free lot we found on Google that was less than an easy mile walk away at Fort/Olivia. We left one vehicle here the whole time with no issues.

Great location for key west

Great location on the south end of Duvall st, everything is walkable even at night. Listing was accurate, the property was clean, and the host was extremely quick to respond to any issues. 4 out of 5 stars only because we had some issues with the AC and the unit was 80 degrees at night when we came in after the first night but the host was quick to send an HVAC technician and supply a portable AC to help get us through the rest of the stay. Good location, would happily stay there again and while not a large property it was great for six people since we were only inside at night to sleep and explore the island during the day.
