Comfortable canal house
The code was sent promptly before check in time and easy entry. The house was fairly clean. The back screened porch was lovely. There were a couple cockroaches and tiny lizards in the house which is fairly common to florida and lots of ants on the ceiling in the screened porch. Caution when using the washer- it stained a bunch of our clothes that we washed before leaving. It looked clean but it must have significant build up inside the drum and left brown stains. I did message the company about this as well but it was the end of our stay they simply said they would tell maintenance. There was also a broken lamp that tape was used to try to fix. Access to the cabana club was easy and such a close walk and made for a lovely time! The house fit our family of 5 well however did have a plumbing issue half way though our stay. Gave the little one a bath on a Saturday and after draining the tub had water leaking through the bedrooms and living room on that side of the house- the company could not come out until mid day Monday as it was a holiday weekend and could not use that shower at all. They informed us under the house there was a leak and not to use the tub and if we showered in there to make it quick. That made for some difficulty with only one shower. The company sent me multiple messages during our stay-reminders of trash and recycling which they are very particular about. The trash people are very loud when picking items up- so be aware of a wake up at 630am on trash days!
