We're going to be back and next time we hope it's warmer so we can swim! Everything was great and the landscape was beautiful! The only 2 things I'd request is 1 a new mattress for sofa bed and 2 maybe a fruit bowl to go with the granola bars and instant oatmeal 😋

Beautiful view, the game room was great as well. Host, Les was very accommodating and helpful! We had a great time and we would visit again.

Great stay. Very quiet and relaxing. We loved the game room…with the MASSAGE CHAIR! We will definitely stay here again next time we’re in Kerrville.

Great location

Perfect place to go to wineries during the day and enjoy the bottle of wine you bought while soaking in the pool. Close to shopping and local historic sites.

Incredible, million dollar view of hill country

Can’t wait to come back, this place is amazing. Les and Lisa are very generous for sharing such an incredible view of the hill country.

Hidden Treasure!

Just a few blocks off Sydney Baker and up a hill is the cutest, fullystocked, beautifully laid out little getaway! Game room next door,a pool, and breathtaking views! Its tucked up and away from center of town but less than 5 min drive! Super private, relaxing, safe, and comfortable! A MUST for a quick weekend getaway

Rexaxing getaway

We went just to getaway from work. It was nice to have a small yard for our dogs to roam. We enjoyed the swimming pool and the game room.

Great memories

Love this ranch style villa. The guest quarters were very comfortable w/ everything we needed. The breakfast items & pre-stocked keurig pods were a great touch. My family & I enjoyed the game room very much! Thank you for a great stay!

Awesome Host

We found paradise in the Texas Hill Country. This place is quiet, restful with great views. The host was very respectful of our privacy. We will come back again.

Wonderful Stay

We loved the property, just perfect for us and our 2 dogs. Beautiful views!!! The property was very clean and offered all we needed. There was a tray of breakfast goodies left which was great!!! We will be returning!!

easy breezy

check in easy! check out even easier! didnt know there was people staying there so to be polite and not loud spent most the time away from property. but views we pretty when i walked around the whole house to get to it(worth it). owner super awesome and helpful!!!!.

Family vacation

My family is from San antonio. We wanted to get out of the city to relax. This weekend was amazing and I would highly recommend this stay. Although the weather was lower than expected which we couldn't utilize the pool. My kids still had an amazing time enjoying the outdoors and site seeing the deers on the property

This stay is the perfect getaway that feels remote hillcountry, but close enough for us city folks to visit downtown and make HEB grocery runs for that 1 item we forgot, cooking oil lol. Les and Lisa had the essentials covered from bed to bath to kitchen and more. We did encounter the wild as it is the hillcountry from deer to creepy crawlies, so best to pack the off and citronella candles! We had a late night bon fire and smore roast, just beautiful. FYI the bedroom window is the perfect place to catch sunsets at! We picked this place for the river and it didn't disappoint. We hung out at Louis Hays Park, 10 min away from the rental. Bring your canopy and pop up chairs/table for some shade right on the river. The pool worked out as we rotated taking showers and making dinner. The game room had plenty to keep us busy including a massage chair. Two recommendations for the rental improvement is to have the game room entry door leveled so it can lock properly at night and do a outter perimter bug/mosquito spray before renters arrive, although the heavy rain on our first day most likely was the factor for our bug encounters. 🪲 Overall we'd stay here again! Even our pup was happy sniffing around the gated area and splashing in the Guadalupe! Oh and one more note Google will take you through a "short cut' way to tje rental, dont do it! Lol I posted the path pic in this review, follow the red path. Thank you again Les & Lisa!

Perfection!

Comfy & fun for even my 14yo & 19yo. Secluded yet you don't feel alone. Rustic, but comfy. Private, but access to HUGE shared space on top of a hill with fantastic views. Clean. Kind folks, who I never met but were very responsive to me.
